Whole heartedly agree on them changing finally. I LOVED their heavier metalcore side but now that they're finally branching out and jumping in the deep end of their new sound I couldn't be happier. The reason for me is that while their old heavy sound is still top tier.. it had to change some time or they would've just fallen off in a slow and agonizing fall from grace. I am relieved they made this decision somewhat early (if you consider their age) so as to not fall into the trap of being stuck in a single sound. Solid reaction, hyped for the album. P.S - Those strings!
this is the most beautiful song from this band and this makes me happy af cuz I wanted a song like that from architects and they did it lmao, I'm just excited to the album cuz yes, the heavy still on this album
Absolutely loved it, and I agree completely with what you said. If you want their heavier songs, go listen to them, they get better with age. Love their new direction and I hope the rest of the album is as diverse as the singles have been
also, I think the difference between what architects is doing with their sound and what a bunch of others fail at is that they're still producing dynamic music. the song might be softer for an architects song, but it still has peaks and valleys. it's still the journey of an architects song, just without as much screaming/whatever.

To this day, I cannot stop listening to this song… your reaction was very similar to my own ❤
I was already very hyped for the album with ‘Animals’ and ‘Black Lungs’ but now I am so excited it’s insane. This song is my favourite of the singles so far and is so beautiful. Coming from a die hard fan of Architects (AOGHAU, HC and DB are my faves), I think this album will be absolutely incredible. Also, I’ve never got the BMTH comparison either. This literally sounds nothing like BMTH at any point in their career. People just use it to hate imo. Fuck them haha.
This is gonna be an amazing album...I am SO EXCITED. Black Lungs and Dead Butterflies are AMAZING
I definitely recommend checking out the Live at Royal Albert Hall version. That live version is so much more emotional and beautiful, i have a very special place in my heart for it. It is DEFINITELY worth listening to.
Architects never fucking miss so good
you perfectly describe what i feel about this song and this band
Its fucking beautiful isn't it. Cannot wait to see this band live again eventually!
I'm waiting for them to release "Discourse is Dead" I have it screen recorded from their livestream and it has honestly been on repeat for weeks on my way to work. For obvious reasons I don't post it anywhere but I hope they do soon so others can hear it.
Feels like a lot of bands are trying to explore electronics again. Super stoked what comes next!
I was waiting for your reaction, I had the same to listen to the song for the first time 🖤
This Song is a absolute Masterpiece. The Album will be amazing. I cant wait for it. Greetz from Germany. 😍
Put this song in the Louvre because it's a fucking work of art
Whole heartedly agree on them changing finally. I LOVED their heavier metalcore side but now that they're finally branching out and jumping in the deep end of their new sound I couldn't be happier.
The reason for me is that while their old heavy sound is still top tier.. it had to change some time or they would've just fallen off in a slow and agonizing fall from grace. I am relieved they made this decision somewhat early (if you consider their age) so as to not fall into the trap of being stuck in a single sound.
Solid reaction, hyped for the album.
P.S - Those strings!
I read a comment that said this song just reminds of them of healing your personal wounds and i can’t agree more
Really beautiful song, that strings give me chills. I love this band too
This is an absolute masterpiece.architects NEVER disappoint
this is the most beautiful song from this band and this makes me happy af cuz I wanted a song like that from architects and they did it lmao, I'm just excited to the album cuz yes, the heavy still on this album
my dudes always find a way to keep it intresting
Architects have just leveled after this track Im talking Super Saiyan Blue
Absolutely loved it, and I agree completely with what you said. If you want their heavier songs, go listen to them, they get better with age. Love their new direction and I hope the rest of the album is as diverse as the singles have been
also, I think the difference between what architects is doing with their sound and what a bunch of others fail at is that they're still producing dynamic music. the song might be softer for an architects song, but it still has peaks and valleys. it's still the journey of an architects song, just without as much screaming/whatever.
Goosebumps right?!
I love me some orchestra in my metal, what a song
Idk but I have the feeling, music is just getting more intense this time... this is another masterpiece 🥺
One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. So good.
Architects are doing for metalcore what Deftones did for Nu-Metal. Absolutely genius.
I really like the new direction they going
Outsiders- Asleep At The Helm
I'm no audio engineer but I feel like the vocals are mixed weird, I wish they were more prominent at times.
They’re fine
@@flamesquadron I don't have to look hard to be unimpressed by the generic Sirius octane band they've turned themselves into
@@pooty195 Jeez, you people are such babies when it comes to bands changing their sound. Grow up.
@@MyEpicAnime I don't mind bands changing their sound, I just don't like the direction they've gone. New album feels like a huge dropoff from Holy Hell for me
@@pooty195 That's perfectly fine, if you don't like it that's all good. But your previous comment sounded like you were lumping them into something they clearly aren't and clearly haven't become.
So... nobody remembers an album called The Here And Now. Cooool
This song has Holy Hell (song) vibe
This song is fucking amazing so beautiful
I said it once and i will say it again this will be the most emotional album that we ever heard from Architects and all I can say is that i will for sure love it
.
This is probably my favorite single so far.
Our eternity- bloodstained

Great reaction; loved it. Thank you :)
I wish I loved new Architects as much as everyone else, my favorite band is missing something. I loved their softer songs on Daybreaker, but they felt so much more powerful in a way that feels absent on these new songs. It sucks so much for me. But I'll always have their old music, and that's what I'll always be thankful for.
A part of me wishes there was a bit more in terms of lyrics
@@nickjennis1508 Same for me as well. Tom's lyrics were genius and I know it's dumb to live in the past, but that doesn't fix the present. Tom's lyrics were perfect for Sam's emotional screams and cleans, it was a beautiful dynamic.
I've accepted their new direction isn't for me. They certainly aren't bad songs, but I feel this kind of sound has been done to death and much better by other bands.
@@pooty195 I remember when shinedown was my go to favorite band now look at them (if you've heard of them) they were the shit when I was growing up now they are soft asf making music that gives maroon 5 a run for they're money I hope that architects do this every so often so it's not over done and becomes the main style of their music albeit this is in no way bad I just prefer heavy and screaming vocals over softer ones I'll admit the flow and harmony of this song is still really well done
This is ethereal to say the least
Your words are 100% correct and i have the same opinion with you, respect!❤
Love your take on this and I 100% agree
Man, how the hell they made that orchestial feeling? Imagine entire album in this style. Amazing.
Now we got it
Sams voice is insane.
I know it's not very sophisticated, but...it's a Fucking masterpiece
