- Slightly different from my usual audit today, as I have recently read that two Metropolitan Police Officers from Bromley Police Station assaulted a 70 year West Indian man causing him to suffer a broken nose, fractured cheekbones, cuts and bruises to his face. This is unacceptable and I go to the station seeking answers and accountability for their actions.
Front desk and Back Gate filmed, Officers questioned.. How do you think this is going to end.. Will I get the answers I'm looking for..?
Normal auditing to be resumed shortly as I did need to bring this shocking encounter to the mainstream.

Read some of the comments under that article. People are trying to justify this by saying he shouldnt have made any gestures towards the police. So apparently self expression is heinous enough to warrant beating the hell out of an old man or anyone else for that matter.
In the light of a plain clothed cop raping, murdering, that young lady,

How true you are in what you are stating and suggesting in what one does, I use the silence is golden method and walkaway in a confident manner, that puts you on the high commanding ground, that is something they find very hard to handle, being ignored and treated with utter contempt by the use of silence.
They never want to make comments, but they have plenty comments about filming in public. Best way to get rid of cops, is asking questions like these.

Because they know police was wrong and they are embarrassed to admit a fellow officer was wrong. It’s like if they don’t acknowledge or condemn, it’s almost like it didn’t happen and yes the police are like a gang and gangs stick together. If these officers admitted the actions was wrong, they would actually be seen as a grass or as someone who don’t back up their fellow officers and possibly receive negative response from their colleagues.
She asked for him to remove his mask as she could not hear him?? was it because there is a camera behind and above her head and it would have gotten a full face view?

We are not their punching bag we have a right to go about our lawful business without being molested, injured or killed by police.
That is why the go about in gangs like those in the van, looking for a fight and provoking it like as not. My daughter was at a disco and during the night she lost her friend who had travelled from another city to stay with us. When I went to pick them up my daughter was in tears. There were police outside who refused to help her find her friend and they actually threatened her with arrest if she continued to bother them. I drove around for the next few hours and luckily found the young girl trying to walk to our house along a lonely country road with no houses and no lights. She had gone out for a cigarette and then bouncers would not let her back in. Anything could have happened to that girl and neither the bouncers nor the police would have been held responsible. The worst thing about this was it was a disco for teenagers where there was not even any alcohol being served - it closed after this incident because the people that ran it were horrified at the thought of what could have happened. Never mind her being abducted she could havr been killed by a car that didn't see her. The next occaision I had to deal with those police ws when I caught them abusing a 14 year old autistic boy in the cinema - his first ever trip out without his mother for my sons birthday. There was a disturbance in the foyer and this lad happebned to come out of the toilet and idiot violent thug police jumped on him. He was nothing to do with the incident but they said they were suspicious of this child because he would not make eye contact or speak. There is something very wrong with this world today!
I hope that the relatives of this 70 year old man sue the Police Force and, sue the two officers personally.
Why not the 70 year old man sue plod? He ought to sue, not the family. 70 years old does not mean his is senile, my old boot is as sharp as a tack and she's 94.

This poor man needs to see a civil rights solicitor and sue the backside off them. Did they have any injuries when he was supposed to have attacked them? When they were at the hospital did they get a nurse or doctor to check them over or have an xray or scan? Find out if you can get the details of this through the foia asap.

OMG absolute monsters on our streets hurting our elderly - who the hell do they think they are and who gave them authority to behave like that under the colour of law. Maybe it's time for the British people to get a petition together to force the government to have an enquiry into the police and whether or not serious changes need to be made to their policies and whether or not certain offences that police commit should be instant dismissal or straight to court and also if there's more than 2 complaints against an officer that is instant dismissal no ifs ands or buts.

The so-called thin blue line signifies loyalty to brother cops above loyalty to common citizens. It will be YEARS before we hear anything about this from the police. By then the officers will be retired with full benefits or moved on to another station. When did such brutality become "part of their daily job duties" and immune to prosecution?
Also they are likely all Freemason's where they swear an oath to protect their brethren above all others for every crime except Treason and Murder where they simply do not cooperate rather than aid and abet with all other crimes. Because of the ongoing investigation, they won't be able to talk to you about the specific incident... BUT! As a concerned member of the public, hearing about such an incident, there is no reason why a manager can't talk to you about your concerns for perceived police brutality. If no one's available that day, they should take your details for someone to contact you. OR, they should forward your details to the local Safer Neighbourhood Team to talk to you.

I'm surprised the MSM didn't pick this up , then again the papers like to talk about things that might happen in the future not what is current. The other officers won't comment as they have been told not to . As for the elderly gentleman I hope he recovers soon and makes sure this gets more publicity and he gets the justice he deserves and the officer's get dismissed from the job.

This is unreasonable, as they are getting preferential treatment, not available to the general public. Only 39 police forces bothered to reply, so the number will be greater than 2000! The last officer in the car wanted to interfere then he was warned you were there with questions. His behaviour and driving was bizarre but the arrogance of the waving from the van was disgusting an absolute disgrace. Plus some of the van 5 had their search gloves on when they first encountered you I think they were about to perform an unlawful search.

Black officer, driving erratically - It was an actual driving offence,... he was holding & using his POLICE RADIO while in charge of / driving a moving vehicle. ( that is why his driving was so poor )

This is unreasonable, as they are getting preferential treatment, not available to the general public. Only 39 police forces bothered to reply, so the number will be greater than 2000! Police should be held to a higher standard!
