Just trimming the fat. If Matt were great, he would see that. Alabama pressures (sacks, hits, hurries) allowed in 2024, per PFF: Elijah Pritchett: 31 Kadyn Proctor: 13 Jaeden Roberts: 11 Tyler Booker: 10 Wilkin Formby: 8 Geno VanDeMark: 7 Parker Brailsford: 7
In an interview before the season started Jalen Milroe said He was more relaxed because Deboer did not put pressure on them. That is part of the problem .
Hey Matt you made a video last week about Tennessee's players leaving and the only one that Tennessee fans cared about, Mike Mathews, ended up staying. In that video you stated all these players were leaving blah blah blah and Tennessee fans just needed to realize that we were not elite, not great, that we were just good. You need to say that about your team. You all are nowhere close to the standard anymore,... Saban is gone
@MattBeGreat - still haven't answered how that " booty Conference " went 4-1 against the SEC ( with USC beating your two mid card 9-3/8-4 teams) and Michigan working " big bad ' bama!" SEC will now have to seriously compete with the Power 4 AND aggressive group of 5 conferences!
The SEC has won 13 of the last 18 National Titles. They have also put the most players into the NFL. 1 or 2 years do not make a trend. You can have your own opinion but not your own facts.
Matt, you need to send some NIL money to Bama for distribution to players so that so many guys won't transfer. You've got the $$$ to do that with all the vids you're making now.
there's only like 2-3 players we need to keep from last season. the rest can go doesn't matter. they are replaceable. the offensive line sucked this year bad. they all need to go. the "young" guys are our best players. williams was 17 years old and he was the best player on the team this year. keelon is young too but prob will be the best qb we have next year.
@@JesusisLord756Hating? Nobody is hating, people are just tired of Michigan fans acting like this 3 year flash in the pan is an "era of dominance". They have 2 titles since 1950 and don't know how to act, they're worse than Ohio State fans but don't get hate like Ohio State because they aren't as successful in the modern era.
@JesusisLord756 I'm glad Michigan fans are all geeked about their team's current streak and the 13-10 win in the shoe. It's fun to watch them boast about "breaking" other teams - when in reality, the struggles Ohio State and Alabama have are internal and have literally nothing to do with Michigan. Only Michigan fans believe they do. That is worth pointing out and laughing about.
Matt guess what, players are transferring in and out of EVERY program... NIL=players come and go at will... Whether it's playing time, money or they think they'll be better somewhere else... It's not just Bama it's college football as a whole... On the bright side the defense, after the jawja game, only allowed around 17 points a game which is on the same level as one of Nick Saban's best defenses... With that being said we'll be back to "The Standard" in a couple of yrs
NOOOOO! But as a Bama fan, I’m going to enjoy our rebuilding phase! Give us until 2027 until we back to the Natty! From Bay Minette to Ardmore, AL. Stop and holla at me in Millbrook Bama water….
People should ONLY be talking about how the game has been ruined with thousands of kids transferring and billions of dollars. But,... nobody cares about protecting the sport itself.
The same thing happened to Tennessee in 2021 players leaving and no hope in sight, but look at Tennessee now, a pretty solid football team and even though we haven’t beaten teams like Georgia or lil bro state, its just gonna take more time to be in that position, but it’s only kaleon Debors first season he just needs time to get the culture right and make a foundation to continue on
awful takes here. the players that talekd trash and had discipline issues on the field were all saban players, cant blame that on deboer. pritchett gave up most of the sacks, he went into the portal last year when saban was still at bama. most of the saban players dont fit the schemes bein implemented at bama now, welcome to the transition. nobody that left after the bowl game was of consequence
Michigan didnt break nothing this was a down year for alabama they had a qb that literally made the offense worse people also forget its a first year coaching staff alabama has won plenty of sec titles and national championships theyl be back dnt worry its ashame it took paying players to actually make other teams revelant
Bunch of nobodies left the team we never heard off. Matt is way over reacting on this and he is always behind with this news. Every one knows by now lol
MuttBeBaldyBaby, if the major college presidents don't get together and set up some rules for transfers and some school caps for total NIL budgets, there won't be major college football in 5 years. Major college football will become rookie leagues (like minor leagues in baseball) and fans will go to games just to root for the laundry. Fans and alumni aren't going to pay outrageous ticket prices to see games involving mercenaries who move from school to school every year.
Matt, I heard today on good authority that a local kid on the team said nobody wanted to go to Tampa, that the lockerroom was dead and coaches were uninspired. All this news is ominous, and I fear we might be in for a dive from previous standards. But I must say I think much of this portal activity would be going on even if Saban were still here.
Kalen DeBoer isn't a bad coach. But there's an entirely different culture in the south...and then there's entirely different culture in Alabama. DeBoer isn't the right man for the job. He can't relate with the fans and he apparently can't relate with the players either. To be fair, not many are the right man for the job. But Alabama probably should have just promoted someone from Saban's coaching staff. At the very least, it would have kept some stability and prevented players from leaving.
This is his first year lmao, how can you even say he's "not the man". Plus, with NIL, Bama was never ever going to keep their dominance. Teams with money can buy the best players now... Talent hoarding is over. See who has the most money and bet on that team to win the championship.
If by culture you mean paying players, ghost classes, grey shirting, etc. then you are correct. SEC only became dominant once ESPN $$$ got involved, and y'all traded academics for glory and cash. Now the playing field will be leveled....you will have to coach in a league with PARITY and you will see how things USED TO BE when everyone played by the same rules. It has NOTHING to do with being in the south, despite football being a religion. Keep telling yourself that. Saban sucked in the pros and up north for a reason. PARITY. And then he went to the SEC where he could get away with stuff that would not fly up north.
We are ohio 's daddy.......just think, if Michigan didn't beat y'all ass at home you would not be playing as well as you are now.....y'all got embarrassed badly. Yer welcome. Go blue baby!
The problem is The Bore and his staff. I said from the beginning that he wasn't a good choice. Saban screwed the program by not giving advance notice that he was retiring. The Bore was a rush hire, and I don't think Alabama did it's due diligence before hiring him. This was year 1. He's got 1-2 more years at best. For all the talk of Saban keeping an office there and still being around, that was a pipe dream. I don't believe anyone with even a little sense thought that was really going to happen or work out. Alabama needs an old school coach OR a younger coach who spent a influential amount of time under an old school coach but is young enough to fit that into the new reality of college football.
Alabama is disappearing quicker than matt’s hair.

Havent lost 1 guy they will miss. Not even close....
Just trimming the fat. If Matt were great, he would see that. Alabama pressures (sacks, hits, hurries) allowed in 2024, per PFF:
Elijah Pritchett: 31
Kadyn Proctor: 13
Jaeden Roberts: 11
Tyler Booker: 10
Wilkin Formby: 8
Geno VanDeMark: 7
Parker Brailsford: 7
Video starts at 4:00 something , just skip the rest Matt reading comments who gives a hoot
We will be ok. The ones who left...goodbye, good luck. BAMA will be ok.
Happy New Year Matthew!!🌟🌟
ROLL TIDE!! ALWAYS!!
They are cooked.
Stonecoldsteveaustin great vid

@MattyBG can you do a quick depth chart on Alabama football to give us outsiders some insight into how bad the exits hurt?
Basically nowadays we have the inmates running the prison
I feel that
Good because old white men who can't play been running it long enough 😅😅😅
In an interview before the season started Jalen Milroe said He was more relaxed because Deboer did not put pressure on them. That is part of the problem .
NIL era effect in full motion. Players are leaving teams they played for a couple years to get more money.
Only way to cure is more, more money.
😂little salty huh ? 🧂🧂🧂
@MattBeGreat - still haven't answered how that " booty Conference " went 4-1 against the SEC ( with USC beating your two mid card 9-3/8-4 teams) and Michigan working " big bad ' bama!"
SEC will now have to seriously compete with the Power 4 AND aggressive group of 5 conferences!
The SEC has won 13 of the last 18 National Titles. They have also put the most players into the NFL. 1 or 2 years do not make a trend. You can have your own opinion but not your own facts.
I played for coach oats at Romulus High school in Michigan! He cool as hell, great teacher
Matt, you need to send some NIL money to Bama for distribution to players so that so many guys won't transfer. You've got the $$$ to do that with all the vids you're making now.
They need to put cap on nil deals and all the players asking what u gonna pay me. How bout prove ur self before u get a deal
there's only like 2-3 players we need to keep from last season. the rest can go doesn't matter. they are replaceable. the offensive line sucked this year bad. they all need to go. the "young" guys are our best players. williams was 17 years old and he was the best player on the team this year. keelon is young too but prob will be the best qb we have next year.
Williams gonna flop don’t believe the hype
@@aecet9652 no he's not. he just needs a qb that can throw him the ball and he will catch it.
Michigan broke Alabama just like they "broke" Ohio State this year. Michigan didn't break squat. Poking bears - that's what they are doing.
Keep hating
@@coments101 Sometimes you gotta educate them.
@@JesusisLord756 2019 wasn’t so long ago
Alabama has a great 2025 class coming in plus the portal to add players gotta have room to change the roster...
So they'll develop them for a year then they'll hit the portal. Guaranteed.
@jasonpatterson2143 in this ERA of college football wouldn't surprise me
Keep recruiting players instead of a team.....Bama just lost to a 3rd string Michigan team.......
1981 - Escape From New York.
2025 - Escape From Tuscaloosa.
I thought the portal was closed. Can someone explain this?
DeBoer is just building his own team. He’s bringing in just as many quality players that fit his style
LMAOooooooo
Cap 🧢
@ he brought in the 2nd overall class in recruiting chill on the man
Lol whatever you say buddy
@@samuelpancake4084 okay just wait and see
Matt what your thoughts of what it takes to get LSU to a championship contender and our QB situation
Start taking notes from Nate Oats 🔥🔥
Fr 😅 Nate Oats needs to come to Alabama football relax the hoops for a little bit
Why? So the football team can have someone charged with murder on their roster too?
One of them i went to high school with Ty Lockwood
You gained my respect when you shaved your head with CU andTCU. I agree 500k as a goal. Your what happened to them series are good also.
I swear I hate the transfer portal. You should not be able to transfer every damn year
Lmao who’s ready for the 5th “sec overrated” video #MattBeMilkinIt
Every 10 years big 10 has decent teams.
So where are they going ? After the cash ?
NOOOOO! But as a Bama fan, I’m going to enjoy our rebuilding phase! Give us until 2027 until we back to the Natty! From Bay Minette to Ardmore, AL. Stop and holla at me in Millbrook Bama water….
In your honest Opinion, How do you see Oregon doing in the SEC? Against the SEC schools? And would make a bowl as well as playoff games? MattBeGreat
Why? What difference would it make? The SEC is already living in a fantasy world you might want to actually think about sec teams getting better 😅😅
Bro he’s getting rid of the stragglers
People should ONLY be talking about how the game has been ruined with thousands of kids transferring and billions of dollars. But,... nobody cares about protecting the sport itself.
The same thing happened to Tennessee in 2021 players leaving and no hope in sight, but look at Tennessee now, a pretty solid football team and even though we haven’t beaten teams like Georgia or lil bro state, its just gonna take more time to be in that position, but it’s only kaleon Debors first season he just needs time to get the culture right and make a foundation to continue on
TN is FAR from being great....that beatdown from ohio exposed them.
Matt, time to start acting your age! This 24 year old persona isn’t cutting it anymore.
Big 10 Fan boys are everywhere on your posts, they finally can be a part of the conversation after 20 years...
Thats the kind of arrogance we at the big 10 hate
awful takes here. the players that talekd trash and had discipline issues on the field were all saban players, cant blame that on deboer. pritchett gave up most of the sacks, he went into the portal last year when saban was still at bama. most of the saban players dont fit the schemes bein implemented at bama now, welcome to the transition. nobody that left after the bowl game was of consequence
Can Some body please share what Matt says at the end of his vids. Thanks
I'm waiting to see how many Lane recruits.
Michigan didnt break nothing this was a down year for alabama they had a qb that literally made the offense worse people also forget its a first year coaching staff alabama has won plenty of sec titles and national championships theyl be back dnt worry its ashame it took paying players to actually make other teams revelant
Wow!!!!!!!! The pot calling the kettle black. Everyone and their mama's mama knows what Alabama been doing before NIL.
Michigan beat Bama twice in a year....they broke Bama. Imagine if UGA did this.
Prichett transferring is good riddance, in my opinion. We'll be aight.
Nothing is going wrong with alabama. Same shit happened with saban. Deboer is just fine. Yall need to chill.
Matt, remember the team has to drop down to 85 players, so of course they are leaving so they don't get cut.
Hope Michigan picks up some the better Bama transfers. Glad to have their RB.
Someone did say the video starts at 3:37 😂😂😂wtf . Matt i you lying 😂😂 my bad
😂😂😂😂
Nerd!
Looks like Nick Saban recruits are leaving.
Aka the good ones.
Petition for Matt to make a separate channel for bama news only called MattBeBama
Can't wait to see what player has 10 different colleges before he flames out in the nfl.....if he ever gets there
Kalen DeBoer isn't a bad coach.
Not all the players left after Saban. A lot stayed. Williams came back. SMH
Losing the starting O . Tackle at Alabama is a big loss!! If they had anyone better he would not have been the starter
Those TTUN (The Team Up North of Ohio) fans will roast anyone and are relentless. Most of them are still in their parents basement!
Facts
We are ohio 's daddy.......just think, if Michigan didn't beat y'all ass at home you would not be playing as well as you are now.....y'all got embarrassed badly. Yer welcome. Go blue baby!
We literally had a top 2 or 3 recruiting class and people are freaking out 😂
Wow! It’s almost like a team of mercenaries will act like mercenaries.
Crimson tide receding faster than Matt's hairline
The problem is The Bore and his staff. I said from the beginning that he wasn't a good choice. Saban screwed the program by not giving advance notice that he was retiring. The Bore was a rush hire, and I don't think Alabama did it's due diligence before hiring him. This was year 1. He's got 1-2 more years at best. For all the talk of Saban keeping an office there and still being around, that was a pipe dream. I don't believe anyone with even a little sense thought that was really going to happen or work out. Alabama needs an old school coach OR a younger coach who spent a influential amount of time under an old school coach but is young enough to fit that into the new reality of college football.
plenty Bama fans are actually VOLS fans
Lmfao High Tide
