Well from where I sit Kathleen Kennedy, Bob Igor and crew think that Star Wars fans love everything related to the OT. So they figured y'all would go "Oooh and ah" over the Teras Kasi reference. Though I'm willing to bet there are many Star Wars OT fans who don't know what Teras Kasi is, which is why as a casual fan that reference reeked of out of touch corporate pandering when I learned about it.
So yeah, you were right to stop caring...

Definitely wanna see more entries in this 'Weirdest Fighting Games' series.
Weirdest fighting game I've ever seen might have to be _Super Cosplay War ULTRA_ by.... I can't remember their name, but they CHANGED their name to FK Digital and went on to make _Chaos Code_ which is super badass so their earlier, goofier, SD doujin fighter also plays really well. It just has complete ripoffs of a good number of gaming and anime mascots thanks to the cosplay loophole (it's not x character, it's an original character _cosplaying_ as them!). Either that or Arc System Works' bizarre little _BlayzBloo_ title(s) for the (3)DS eshop, which were like really, really cheap and dumb _Power Stone_ (that's being generous; let's say _Marvel Nemesis)_ clones with absolutely no depth but chibi versions of some _Blazblue_ characters whaling on each other.

Why not, they put literally EVERY character in Tekken in Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Even the dead ones, like Jun Kazama, Unknown(that's really her name, I didn't make that one up), Ogre/True Ogre, Jinpachi Mishima, Devil(the true form of Kazuya Mishima), Angel, Devil Jin, Lars, Panda, Kuma(the name of the bear owned by Heihachi Mishima, the guy who usually runs the King Of Iron Fist Tournament, or Tekken). Roger Jr., even though it's his ex-wife and son fighting, and not just Rogers's ex-wife. Roger being the name of a kangaroo, who cheated on his wife, and disappeared since Tekken 2, only for his wife and son to try and find him, in his Tekken 5 ending, in which the mom kangaroo, Street Fighter-style, uppercutted Rogers's unfaithful ass through the ceiling, and sent him flying, Smash Bros style. And also, in Tekken 7, they had Akuma from SF, as one of the last bosses, and was incorporated into the story, in some final episodes of that game. Man, Tekken has some weird guest characters and regular characters, like: space ninjas, kangaroos, bears, pandas, Akuma, demons, Angel's, dancers, boxers, kick boxers, and some dude from some tv show I don't care about.

Battle Beast for the PC. I had a demo version of this, and it's really weird. The fighting part is your fairly typical fighting game. But... The characters have alternate forms, which are cute robotic pet versions of whatever their fighter is supposed to be. The big werewolf-bot? Tuns into a cute little robo-puppy. And it's basically stated that these cute forms are their normal forms, and something about having to win the competition, so they can stop being made to fight or something. Also, you can change forms mid-battle. There's just a transform command, that can be used whenever. And surprisingly enough, the computer players will sometimes randomly transform into pet mode, giving you an opportunity to kick their cute little ass. From what I've been able to figure out, this is all done to make a parody of fighting games, which can at times play like an actual hardcore fighting game.

    Idea for a video:
“X times our good deeds really weren’t.”
    Examples:
In Fallout 3 you gain karma for donating to the Children of Atom, but in Fallout 4 they are basically a terrorist organization, irradiating anyone they come across.
Plus (spoiler) depending on how you play Far Harbor you wipe out a town entirely, children included.
Another example could be sparing any Dishonored character (especially the Pendletons. Losing your tongue and being thrown in a mine doesn’t exactly sound like a good way to go).
Or in Dark Soul’s painting world where you have no reason to kill the final boss but you can.
Surely killing this powerful boss will help the world... right?
If anyone seeing this has good ideas for more examples, leave a reply!

My friends and I had a lot of fun playing Masters of Teras Kasi. We even came up with a bunch of jokes about the potential matchups. Han vs Leia was domestic violence, Leia vs Luke was sibling rivalry, Leia or Luke vs Vader was either child abuse or elder abuse, depending on who won, Stormtrooper vs just about anyone was police brutality, unless it was against the Tusken Raider, Hoar, in which case it was beating a hooker. And we nicknamed Chewbacca's special 'the carpet cleaner'. And before anyone gets all pissy about those jokes, we were like 16-17 at the time.

I played the heck out of the Star Wars one with my brothers when we were young. It was so much fun!

I don't know if I should be proud... or ashamed that I have played *three* of these games.
And to be clear, it was back when they came out, not playing them on a .rom later.

Here I was, living what I would consider a decent life and then you go and remind me of the spectical that was Time Killers. Now my nights will be forever haunted by that horrible game. Thanks Andy.

Especially when it included Sumo Santa and included claytalities.

Isn't it cheating to suggest something that's openly a parody?

@@CarbonRollerCaco Perhaps they should instead create a list of "weird games that didn't originate in Japan". That's gonna be a tough list to make.
