  • We've been in Sicily for 5 days and on our last day we met up with Artua in his hometown of Randazzo and he'll take us to his family's Bar Pasticceria. This is one of the oldest Pasticceria in Sicily and his Nonna is known for her iconic Cannoli and almond biscuits. So we thought we'd share the story with you all.
    See you back in the home kitchen next week!
    Location: Bar Pasticceria Arturo Facondo, Randazzo, Sicilia

    Hello Andy, big fan here. That is not the only active volcano in Europe, infact, in Sicily only there is another one (very) active volcano, Stromboli Volcano from Eolian Archipelago.
    Have you been to Noto to visit Cafe Sicilia from Corrado Assenza?

    My Sicilian ancestors did not use ricotta for the filling. The village/family makes a crema filling. I am the last person to inherit the family's 100+ yr old cannoli sticks...and Artua is right the shell is the main component to master...thus the sticks are key to success.

    Great vid, but as a avid volcano student there are a number of active volcanos in Europe, Italy has two major ones Mount Etna but also Mount Vesuvius (Pompey ) and then Iceland well how long is the list and can you spell then … just remember when all planes were grounded in Europe due to a eruption

    Sorry babe. Please stop saying "ecspecially". Don't mean to be a grammar nazi, but the word has no c at the beginning. It's "especially". It's like you're saying aks instead of ask. Sorry again. 🥴

    • @jamiebrigg8742
      @jamiebrigg8742 29 дней назад +1

      Individual variation in the way words are pronounced happens all the time. Metathesis (letters/sounds moving around) like ask/aks is really common. 'Bird' comes from the word 'bridd', for example. So be careful what you label as right or wrong - you don't know what will happen in the future.
      Anyway, it doesn't affect your ability to understand, does it? Didn't think so.
