Question gentlemen… When we played with 3 players, we got the rampart tile quite a bit which allowed each of us to choose a future tile in another row. If you have a rampart in that row, once you reach that row, are you allowed to have your lord there as well? In essence, you would get 2 tiles that turn? Because we ran out of tiles before the 16 round.
Great question! The Scout piece is only meant to reserve a tile and keep it out of your opponents' hands, so you'll still claim only one new tile from a row with your Scout in it. - When you arrive at the row of tiles with your Scout piece in it, you'll play that round normally, except that no other player is allowed to place their Lord piece on your reserved tile. - When it's your turn to claim a new tile, you may place your Lord piece on any available tile, including the one you reserved. - Whether or not you take the tile you reserved, you must remove your Scout piece from that row after you've made your choice. I hope this help, and happy town-building!! -Andy
