Thank you Margaret, that's very kind and we're now hoping that you will send us a snap of what you make as we love to see how creative you can be. Happy beading !
Great tutorial, easy to follow and very informative. Fantastic tip about using paper when doing the tassel, how effective. Thank you for downloading this, it is very much appreciated and I am sure many others will agree. Many years ago it was a Spellbound Kit that I started off with being completely new to beading, the instructions were very clear and the service from the company ordering products is second to none, staff so helpful. Thanks again.
Thank you Bev - we sell lots of really lovely beads, from all over the world...but tassel making is a great way to even humble plain beads really look like a million dollars. I hope you give it a go.
Delighted to have found this video, I’ve just discovered beading, this will be so helpful. Next stop, the web site where hopefully I can purchase some supplies as at the moment I just have some bits & pieces. Thank you.
Thank you Tish - it's a neat trick that really works and the final reveal when you tear away the paper is so satisfying...and you can never have enough tassels. Happy beading !
Hi, I have only just found this video and it is exactly what I wanted to watch, I live in Australia so I am hoping to find something here or order online. I don't know what is a Size D beading thread is or a size 10 beading needle is. Nor very easy to obtain a dog-clip clasp.
Hello Andrea, Ellen shows you how to start a thread in more detail on the video on this link ruclips.net/video/RHLHsOb1On4/видео.html Use the keeper bead method - it's just a spare bead that can be removed later. Vicky has used a white seed bead on the tassel video. Be careful not to catch the knot around the keeper bead as you work. When you have finished the tassel, remove the keeper bead (it just slides off)and tie it to the needle thread with a couple of overhand knots above the tassel top bead. Hide the tails inside the tassel top bead before you trim. Happy tasselling!

Too bad you are speaking so softly that someone can't understand most of what you are saying. And yes, my volume is all the way up and I can understand other videos.

I had no problem hearing your lovely voice, and lovely it is. She maybe soft spoken, but that should not be a problem for a normal human. Your tassel is very pretty and you provide easy to understand instructions. Perhaps this previous commentor should have her ears checked. No disrespect meant, perhaps just an opportunity to make sure your tiptop health. Smh

Would these make good earrings or is the bead too heavy?😊
Beautiful tassels. What's the yarn you use please?
What type of thread do you use.
They are lovely
I’m new to beading and would like to know how best to secure the beginning knot.
