Not only did this dude save me from breaking my new Logitech camera, but it was the first video that popped up in the search, and unlike most you tubers he was right to the point. 5 stars!!
You have my vote for The Most Helpful Tech Video of 2020! Like many other BRIO owners, I struggled with improvised methods of mounting the BRIO. Until I saw this video, I had duct-taped the BRIO to a gooseneck LED desk lamp so that I could adjust the webcam height and position. Thank you so much!
DUDE THANK YOU!!!! I was messing with mine just now and trying to set up a livestream on a tripod. I didn't want to break it... so hopped on google and found your video! Worked perfectly and can't thank you enough for taking the time to make this! You the man!!!!!!!
It's been said before but I have to emphasize this saved me from breaking my Brio or wasting money looking for another camera with a tripod mount. Concise, valuable information. Thank you!
Dude, you just saved me snapping the whole webcam clamp off. There was a slip of paper in the box which I threw away, and the picture was showing the clamp twisting off (at least that’s how I remembered it). Nice save ass video. Good on you for taking the time to make it.
I hope both sides of your pillow are wonderfully cool, you have perfect weather on every trip you take, and you get an unexpected raise at work. THANK YOU
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have watched quite a few videos that said the brio webcam could not be attached to a tripod. I nearly bought the c930e instead. You are a genius 😂
I had NO idea this worked this way. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I wondered how the heck I was supposed to get the camera on the mount - LOL. I just bought the camera mount and it's been sitting on my desk eversince for a month.
... and there was me looking for some sort of adaptor that I could slot the base of the camera into that would give me a tripod mount! Thank you sooooooooooo much for showing this hidden feature!
Thank you so much for telling me how to remove the attachment from the bottom of the camera so that I can attached it to my tripod. I could not find it anywhere. Thank you again. You are great.
I was so confused man. the instruction say you can thread it on a tripod mount but I'm tugging on it or rotating it but obviously not in the mood to possibly break a 200 dollar webcam lol. thank you for this video. you have no idea how much it helped.
Thanks so much! I've been using the camera, and like most everyone else, I didn't see how to put it on a tripod. I taped mine to a stero miking bar with gaffe tape and mounted it onto a retractable microphone stand (which can go up to about 30 feet). I thought it would be time to officially put it on a tripod and now I have the answer. Thank you again!
Oh my, genius!!! I was so annoyed trying to figure this out. Awesome webcam but instructions would be nice. Thank you so much for saving me so much time!
Thank you for explaining. I switched from C920 to 4K brio and I noticed I can’t use my old tripod for it cause it didn’t have that hole… Before ordering a new tripod I decided to check on RUclips and I found your video and save the money! 🙏
Thanks so much! Logitech should literally pay you for this video. Their instructions about removing the monitor clamp amounted to a poorly drawn diagram. Appreciate your help!
Thank you! I have the Logitech BRIO and on mine you can't even see that little screw you pointed out. My packaging also doesn't have a shred of instructions on how to do this. I tried twisting (carefully) thinking it would unscrew. Yeah, no. I feared I'd damage it. The problem for me was that I needed to access the serial number, which is impossible to see and lives directly under the mount. Your advice helped and I seriously appreciate it. Thanks again, mate!
bruhhh I've owned this webcam for 2 years and only just finding out about this now... I've had a ball head mount on a ring light, with a smartphone holder attachment screwed into it and have been hanging the Brio off that this whole time lmao! Thank you for this video, good Sir!
Thank you so much! I'm about to get a 4K brio for use on an overhead tabletop gaming setup and I was so afraid I could not mount this to my C-Stand for not having a threaded mount.!!
Thanks for the video! I got one of the cameras a while ago and was tripping. Just now decided to check the RUclips and boom! You're helpful! Thanks mate.
Phenomenal video! I have an interview in 3 days and needed to mount this for my Zoom interview. PSA: It also works for the updated mount as well. Cheers!
omfg ty, i just got my BRIO and was wondering why i was struggling after reading the setup sheet. It took a bit of force but once it popped i was so happy. I wish in the instructions logitech would actually how how to get access
Thanks @dragon blogger for this information. This same instruction is crucial for the 2021 Logitech 4K Pro Webcam too. I kept thinking I would break it, but after giving the webcam mount a hefty tug, it disengaged to show the screw mount. Whew!
I twisted it a couple of times really hard hoping that it has been screwed in, then thankfully I found you instructions. It is really dumb that they do not have the instructions in the manual. That is a big mistake for such an expensive product in its class. I am sure there are at least a couple of people who have ended up twisting too much at the pre-fixed camera mount.
You are welcome, and that pup gets plenty of hugs, I even created his own dedicated RUclips channel ruclips.net/user/DogsLoveToys cause people wanted more dog vids :)
Found this after I switched the last segment (with the screw part) of my old c920 with my new brio. They have the same hinge system that is easy to screw on and off. nice if you are switching cams and need the extra hinges and segments.
Thanks for the video. For a $200 webcam, that's a pretty major oversight from Logitech. Like, who on earth in product development OR marketing for that matter approved this before it went out!?
What is the screw thread size ? How do I find a tripod that would fit the BRIO screw thread size ? Also, I seriously am afraid of breaking my BRIO. Mine does not look like yours, underneath, so I am wondering if they updated this, and preventing doing this, or if mine is an older model. Update, It was scary but I was able to. What I did was , fold the attachment flat, and then you have a wider base to pull away. That gave more leverage, and I was relieved that it had the screw underneath.
Thanks. I was baffled it didn't have a mount point and ended up using tape. Now I can go back in to work and sort it properly! Hopefully the Brio Stream 4K is the same.
THANK YOU !!! I thought there were 2 versions of this (clamp and tripod mount). I waited 3 months for this camera and it frustrated. me that I could not tripod mount it. But you saved the day with this video. SQUEEK! :D
Thanks, I did notice when I brought a BRIO last month that it now includes a small white paper insert that shows to pull off the monitor clamp, but it is a small square paper that can be easily overlooked.
Thank you sooo much! I was terrified I was going to break it, and I would have if it weren't for your video. Extra points for the cute dog squeaky toy sound effects!
Glad I was able to help, yeah my dogs are hard to stop from making background noise, I have a vid with my new puppy we got a few days ago too ruclips.net/video/qtin5aUzzIk/видео.html
What did you take off the bhttom of the Brio? I cant see for the words flying over the video. PLUS the bit you took off with the screw hole under it, is it easy to put it back on as it was? (I kind of break things....the Brio is not cheap..)
I paired the Logitech BRIO with this pivot ball head tripod mount ruclips.net/video/YGxVE3EVef4/видео.html works like a charm!
Not only did this dude save me from breaking my new Logitech camera, but it was the first video that popped up in the search, and unlike most you tubers he was right to the point. 5 stars!!
Thank you, glad I could help.
@@dragonblogger can we use the brio to film vertical clip?
Here too! Thanks bro
Haha same, a Christmas gift was saved by this video. Audio wasn’t even on!
this is wild that the average consumer (me included) would never know this unless we saw this video. thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
had this camera for 5 years. never knew this. Thanks OP

Thank you very much, was very glad that I made this to help others figure it out as well.

my sentiments exactly.
Blasting that "Thanks" button. Accurate, straight to the point, and now I'm off to using my cam with tripod. Thanks!!!
I love that there are creators creating content that is useful. Needed this video. Straight forward and simple!
Thank you, glad the video helped.
It's been said before but I have to emphasize this saved me from breaking my Brio or wasting money looking for another camera with a tripod mount. Concise, valuable information. Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to let me know the video helped you.
And so ends a day of frustration and needless problem solving to get round this issue. Thank you, sir.
Got a Brio today...And four years after this dude's recording, it's spot on! Thank you from the future!
Glad the video is still relevant 4 years later
Straight to the point and Pumpkin is an incredible sound mixer, loved the video

Thank you for saving my sanity. You're a lifesaver.
Oh my God thank you for this video.....we would have broken it because we couldn't figure it out!
You are very welcome
Same here. Tried to force it last night but decided not to. Glad I waited! Thanks for the video!

I just got my new Brio and a gooseneck stand - I never would have found the hidden answer as to location of threaded insert mount - thanks so much!
Really glad this video helped, thank you for letting me know you found it valuable.
Wow!! I never even thought about this. I was looking for an adapter, just feeling screwed by Logitech's lack of product design... THANK YOU!!!!
This Man deserve a RAISE !!!! Thanks you so much !!

I almost broke my expensive Brio webcam mount trying to unscrew. Your video is a lifesaver! Thank you!
Happy to help
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I've bought the Brio again cause I broke them before. This tip is a life saver. Greatly appreciated
Oh my, genius!!! I was so annoyed trying to figure this out. Awesome webcam but instructions would be nice. Thank you so much for saving me so much time!

Thanks for the video! I got one of the cameras a while ago and was tripping. Just now decided to check the RUclips and boom! You're helpful! Thanks mate.
Thank you for this video. Unbelievable they do not mention this in the instructions. No more having to clamp or prop up the Brio
Amazing. I've had this webcam for nearly two years and had no idea. Thank you!
This video literally stopped me from breaking the webcam in frustration 😅 thanks a ton for making this video. I highly appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for taking the time to let me know video helped.
Thanks dude, even with the slightly newer monitor mount this still works the same.
Thanks brother, was looking all over for the hole!
You probably saved people tens of thousands of dollars total with this video. Subbed.
Thanks, I had no idea when I figured to record how I figured this out it would benefit so many others.
Thank you so much - you made my day! Hard to believe Logitech doesn't document this.

omg ily!! I currently have it TAPED to a tripod and this video was exactly what I needed. Thought id have to buy a whole attachment, Thanks so much!
Really glad this video helped, thanks for letting me know.
🎉 Thank you so much For last 2 years been taping my Brio to a tripod!!!!
Glad this helped
Honestly why would they not make this more obvious? Thank you for this video!
Thank you SO much!!!! It worked perfectly! Your explanation was so easy to follow. Deeply grateful!

I was 30 seconds away from sending it back for a refund and thought, "well, what if someone came up with a hacky-DIY solution?"
You are a rockstar!
Glad you found this video and it helped.
Thank you!! Was driving me nuts and I almost broke it!!
Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to make this video. I would probably have broken my mount by forcing it to unscrew.
I am really glad this video helped you, thank you for taking the time to let me know it helped.
Thanks for the video. For a $200 webcam, that's a pretty major oversight from Logitech. Like, who on earth in product development OR marketing for that matter approved this before it went out!?
Completely agree, clearly so many people found this confusing and had to look it up.
OMG thank you! I was about to cry thinking that I bought a stand that didn't work with my Brio webcam.
I am really glad this helped
You are a genius! :) I was about to return my new Ultra 4k webcam back. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!! You saved us hours of frustration!
Thank you!!!! I was about to twist that mount and almost broke it off!
Glad I was able to help you as well.
This info saved my biscuits, thought i was going to have to order another camera for a work project but I'm good thanks to you! Cheers!
