The people who ask “Show me where Jesus himself says, ‘I am God,’ or ‘Worship me.’”, are saying to the God of the universe, “Your Word isn’t clear enough. Explain better.” Whether it’s to know the truth or to shut up the people who disagree with them, they want God to hand them the truth on a silver platter. They have no interest in sitting at Jesus’ feet and learning something. Just like the disciples who walked away when Jesus said hard things. I just confronted two JW's on why they added words to Zechariah 3.2, today. They obviously went to the good ole "But in the hebrew it might say" But i came prepared, and had the text in hebrew with a one-to-one translation, transliteration and a semantic translation, and showed them that the word "malakh" does not appear before "Yahwe". They stumped and i hope they will go investigate further themselves.

Jesus has to tip toe around the subject in order to accurately teach his disciples and the people so that we may have scriptures we understand, all while avoiding getting crucified too early. That’s why he couldn’t just come and explicitly explain it all right away because they’d put him to death immediately and then we don’t get any of this parables, teachings, and examples of how to live our life. Does that make sense as to why he couldn’t just come and explicitly say these things? Additionally, he has put to death for blasphemy and making himself equal to God, that’s fundamentally why he died, but when he was making himself God, he was doing so in a way that would be clear to 1st century Jews.
I just imagine what most African men of God are doing, most of them are hungry people chasing tithes and offerings. Since I started going to churches in Africa I never learned this from any of them. Praise God for this man's life. I have learned a lot from his teachings.

I’ve been searching for the right words if necessary to confront my mother who is still a JW…I was born and raised JW but left at a young adult at 19. It was VERY traumatic, as some of the ex JW here I’m sure can relate, I had not prayed for years went through depression and addiction, and never fully came to terms with my former faith until a few years ago. It was from a dream that gave me the catalyst to find my way to Jesus. It took me quite a few years to finally understand who Jesus actually is, but once I re-read the book of John it clicked. Then we jump down to verse 14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus is the embodiment of the Word of God. Jesus is the voice of God that spoke all creation into existence.

Just read John 14 vs 6 to 11. It settles it all, even his discipline asked him who the father was and he told them..
