Yeah Milwaukee has some of the most useless crap. They just throw pack out compatibility on anything and these Milwaukee heads with way too much money go out and buy it. I mean that shit is literally just a flashlight why does it have to have USB power which will take away from the battery life that is an M12. And then you've got storage on top of it. I mean Milwaukee even came out with a pack out cup holder. Like the cup itself has the pack out on the bottom so you could click it onto your pack out setup. Useless crap. There's so much useful stuff they could be making like a battery powered bench grinder with like a little clamp on the bottom so you could pretty much clamp it to any table or working surface. But no let's just keep producing flashlights in all shapes and forms.
@@RUclipsisAZZhoWell, I agree some of their stuff is useless, but not these packout lights. The M18 variant is a little bit useless as it doesn't store much. Even though the M18 has a power outlet connection. So you can run it off wall power and it will power the light *and* charge your battery. This one however, has better storeage. The go to small stuff that's easy to lose fits perfect in that compartment with the trays. The two trays help divide and organize said small bits. With the USB means you can store your phones or other devices, and they will be safe. If you remove the trays, and can store a small tablet. I'm a mechanic, and I use this packout to store my brake service tools. The flood light works great, stays cool, and if you use a higher capacity M12 battery, will give you half a days worth of lighting.
@@RUclipsisAZZho LOL it's not useless, just useless to you and some people, but I get your point. I personally own this light, and the usage is LIMITED, but it's not useless. It's nice to be able to throw what I need into the compartments to do a small repair and have the ability to charge my phone in a remote area if need be. It's not that expensive. The M18 packout light is big and bulky for no reason. I got rid of it and bought this M12 one instead.
Milwaukee has the best modular systems of any brand period. My tools are all Bosch, but all my cases are Milwaukee. Getting some Kaizen foam to cut out slots for sensitive stuff is pretty satisfying
Hey bro, I blame you for this 😂😂 as soon as I saw this video pop up in my feed, it only took 15 seconds before me jumping into the home depot app and order it. Lol. It got here today. Excited to use this!!! M12 has been my favorite all time use although I need an m18 impact for hvac installs. Keep them coming!! Haha
No shit. I just checked. 250$ on Amazon. At this point I’m committed to Milwaukee because I invested but I’m contemplating stopping anymore purchases at all from them. 250 for that is insane. Battery included or not. WTH Milwaukee. Stop gouging customers.
@@scottfletcher1956... Wow... don't know what your on about it regularly sells for 129.00. Pretty much since it came out. Can even be found at times for 99.00.
The greatest business model in the world is selling the topper on the Mil Packout, the milk crate looking thing. Gotta be $.17 in China retailing for $39 at Home Depot. Somebody's on a beach laughing.
Cool, seems like it wouldn’t be cheap or the brightest light but it has its uses. Personally I’d rather just have another pack out case. Power tool batteries are wasted in this role. Each kit you buy you’re basically buying batteries and getting tools for free. So I got way more tools than batteries 😂
having a trouble when u need to carry ur gear up to second floor, and u have to detach packout boxes cuz there is no enough space even u have the strength to carry the whole lot. U dont want to leave ur roller and some of the boxes that u don't need on the first floor in case there is thefts...
It would be better if the battery also would charge. Picture this you have your drill and all your accessories and you arrive to a job you plug in your case and open it up your battery is charging and your ready-to-go.
If it had a plugin (like the M18) to charge the battery and not just drain it, I’d be sold. Packout apparently hates integrating M12 battery charging except as an afterthought on a massive m18 charging dock. Which is dumb anyhow, because if you’re supplying tools and batteries to that many workers, you probably aren’t using a packout. You’re using trailers and gang-boxes.
It's on a super mega ultra sale at home depot until late October! $150 with a 4.0 and 2.0 batteries/charger, $250 with a 5.0 and 2.5 batteries/charger! I always need more batteries for a deal, plus this awesome light for free! (I think the charger is included with both options, but it may be just the batteries, doesn't really change the amazing deal though since you probably have multiple chargers by now anyway 😉) 👍
When u don't work at night, especially u r not allowed making noise on site, why don't I just get a torch if I really need in just very very few cases.
I'm trying to find an excuse for it because how cool it looks like and i just can't ... is just too big and not big enough at the same time ... nothing that a drill battery with a powerbank adapter and a flash light can already do with smaller foot print and bigger longer lasting battery
M18 light is better. This one you can't even stack anything on top. They should have done smaller lights on the side and made it so you could stalk on top.
Yo pensando que era un taper para la comida😂😂😂..... Milwaukee ya parece anker que hace cualquier estupidez y cobra caro pero cuando hace cosas buena si son muy buenas 😊

not really but I like this one cause the other one is too heavy.

I like how this has internal storage unlike the m18 version
The m18 has internal storage so to speak. Not like the m12 tho. You can still fit a phone and other items if need be in the m18.
@@ramblingrodriguez3558 yea, but not in the same way.

if they added an ac input, that could run the lights and charge the battery it would've been perfect.
