Love your videos Greg! Thanks for taking the extra time when working on your stuff to set up cameras and get it to us! Your channel is the only one I get notifications from! Cheers
bigair845 , cool man my bro's notice the difference of a educational videa or an ego trip , eg,the tool work on ff couse really why drag the world around no reason, anyhow liked your comment
Greg.... I've got to say.... You actually make all this very interesting... You're explanations and directions are direct, clear, concise and often Humorous.... Thanks for your time man!!
You fellas were literally around the corner from my place. Shoulda checked the applebees lot. They may have been there. Hopefully catch ya at Island this weekend! Keep a look out for my truck
I don't really keep up with much other channels but man you got some good stuff! It's cool to see you doing your own work on your vehicles and what not
Diesel mechanic from southern Illinois and owner of an 06 ISB. Just started watching a week ago and I love the channel man. Wish I had the time you do to get to work on my big white turd. Keep on throwing up videos and I'll be waiting to watch!
I just ordered a bunch of vibrant fittings for my fuel system too. And my stainless braid hose is on back order. QQ i didnt not get the o-ring an to npt adaptors. Is it a necessity or will a little thread sealant do? Got adaptors for the beans sump, lift pump and to the vp44.
I really do appreciate the attention to detail, I'm almost jealous that I fall short in the same category. Personally, don't like allen heads just because in my history they seem to be prone to strip, but they definitely look trick with the diff cover all cleaned up.
I'm excited about this no boost kit! I think I know what it is and my buddy and I are about to do the same thing to his 05 if it's what I think it is. Your videos have been an inspiration to me keep it up!
hey Greg could you mention a video how you deleted the heat exchanger on the 05? i have a 05 as well and iam wanting to get that exchanger out of there. thanks and keep up they great videos👍
DUDE! Your explanation of what you're doing with your 1st Gen is basically what I'm doing with my fam's 83 Suburban. I'm going to restore it, but it's not going to be stock; and it's not going to be tricked out either.
Can you please try to turn the music volume down on your videos! When you talk it's one way and then the music comes on and it's almost blowing my speakers out.
LEMONADE STAND I'd guess 18 ish around town and 22 ish on highway. also really depends on the type of edge tuner. I know that's about what the 98.5 I'm getting tomorrow gets and it has the edge EZ on it
You might consider adjusting the volume of the music to the same volume as the speaking parts. I watch every one of your videos with ear buds and the music damages the cilia in my ears every time it comes on.
The AC doesn't work. Judging by how hacked that engine bay is.. someone messed around and broke it for good. Trying to fix the AC will be a huge money pit. Those funds can go into nice paint or more replacement parts.
I guess its all in what you want. I also forget that its not as hot everywhere as it is here in south Louisiana. Around here any vehicle without ac is a no go.
Take it to 2 dealers, a engine shop, a suspension/tire shop, and a transmission shop. A few hundred bucks in diagnostics is cheaper than buying a POS. If there's anything worn down or wrong with it, they will definitely let you know.
Thanks for answering but i live in Sweden so there pretty much aint no Dodge dealerships here. Got to on known issues and buy looking and driving myself, and old safety papers. But if it is stock the engine should be fine.
The amount of surface rust that is ignored on this channel when components are out and accessible is infuriating. Especially on projects that will sit for weeks waiting on parts and money. Rust inhibitor and your favorite black chassis rattle cans are cheap and easy to use
Hopefully soon when I know it will stop and steering good enough I don't kill myself, o and spray fuel everywhere from the pump too lol trying to make it happen soon!

GAROFALO FARMS!!! they have the best home made ice cream
do our 3rd gens hold pressure in the coolant system for a LONG time. like months..without it even being cranked or is that a sign something is wrong

Another cool video
The an clamp that goes from the radiator to the overflow, how does that hold up? I've had problems with worm drive clamps in the past on heater hoses.
I would like to know if fuel sumps are legal? I watched your video about air dog.
Bridgewater car show bust..Typical
Love the videos Greg keep em coming!

Love the videos guys!

I'm so glad you said that your gonna do your own thing. Fuck the people who say leave it slone
I'd like to see a clean 1st gen that gets used. These restored trucks all sit in garages and rot away.
That diff cover looks really clean along with those bolts not to sound like an idiot how did you figure out what allen bolts to go with?
Greg get your Snap On buddy to get you a rad kit to fill the cooling system
what brand and size rim do you run on your trucks, and how do you make them fit without lifting it?
For the turbo do you need a intake filter or do they keep the dust out?
Quick question what's your budget plan for the first gen build?
Love the Videos
What type of mpg do you guys think id see from a 5spd 01 24-valve std cab 4x4 with a edge tuner on it? This will be my first diesel.
LEMONADE STAND I'd guess 18 ish around town and 22 ish on highway. also really depends on the type of edge tuner. I know that's about what the 98.5 I'm getting tomorrow gets and it has the edge EZ on it
LEMONADE STAND my 99 24v 5 speed gets about 15 city, 20 highway. I don't have an edge but I do have a 4 inch exhaust, BHAF and a ts MVP

almost at 30k greg w00t
What size wheels n tires on the white truck?
do a full engine bay detail on jesse's truck for the channel
OCD? Could have at least painted those bumper brackets. LOL
first thing i thought of too lol common greg all that work dont skip out on the brackets
I agree with everything on the first gen except the ac. If its going to be a street truck i would definatley keep the ac.
The AC doesn't work. Judging by how hacked that engine bay is.. someone messed around and broke it for good. Trying to fix the AC will be a huge money pit. Those funds can go into nice paint or more replacement parts.
Quentin Fontenot roll the windows down you will be alright
I guess its all in what you want. I also forget that its not as hot everywhere as it is here in south Louisiana. Around here any vehicle without ac is a no go.

Cutting down those dead trees in tomorrows video . :-)
Greg what exactly is a no boost delete kit? Not new to diesels just never heard of it. Great job on the videos and content! Keep it up!!
Backwoods 18 its a joke...but a little hint, it looks like a snail...
Drew L I thought so lol. probably two snails at this point
Backwoods 18 hopefully!!
He's got a big ass compound turbo setup. He'll be pushing enough boost to drive out studs.
Mark M nice
While it's in the air you should probably test fit the American Forces....
What Are the dimensions of the wheels on the white cummins???
What kind of LEDs does he have in his white mega cab?

Did u put any gasket maker on the first gen rear end?
I can't speak for Greg.. But it's common practice to put a dab on the gasket to keep it in place while aligning the cover and bolting it down.
you gotta put 4 wheel disk brakes on it GREG_ALBERALLA (1st gen 12 valve)
where did Jesse get his fleece hat.
Austin Tjaden probably from UCC. They're always selling em at events
What size are the forces

just let Johnny send it do it.. he's expendable
lower the first gen, never seen it done before. might look cool
With offset wheels and a fresh coat of paint... I'd daily that truck.
Greg what do you think about duramax's
He likes all trucks and engines but just prefers the dodge cummins setup, just like me.
what size exhaust system do you run on you're Cummins?
so I could order it
how do u never have to work
What do you do for a living
Elliott Houser sells vacuum cleaners
