This was awesome. What a cool place to visit. I miss Blockbuster as well.
It was a good time to be alive
That was really interesting. I can't believe how much detail they put into the exhibits.
That vhs section, so many memories
Great video as always Ray! Gonna have to go with Christmas Vacation as my favorite Christmas movie.
That's one of the best!
Great video, thanks for taking us along on another unique experience
Glad you enjoyed it!
BB. Can’t wait to see this out tonight.
Yay! Paramus! Old stomping grounds! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Post some videos robin.
That was really cool! Love the Nightmare scene -- that's definitely a favorite movie. :)

Thank you! Good to hear from you and I hope your doing well!
Loved your video, Ray. Happy holidays! I miss Blockbuster dearly. I always loved the smell they had. Me and my parents went there a lot in the early 2000s, pick out a couple of movies, me and my dad would pick out a game, and I always got Snow Caps when we went there. To this day, Snow Caps will always remind me of Blockbuster. We would always pick up Grinch (the animated one from the 60s) and Alvin and the Chipmunks every Christmas back then. Then, we watched a Christmas Story on Christmas when I was older because TBS aired it all day. But now, with streaming services, we struggled for about an hour to find it this year because everything is jumping services and there's like a thousand of them. The streaming services are becoming a pain in the teeth, and I'm starting to miss physical media even more now.
I worked at Abercrombie back in the day and they finally put some good use to that space!
Merry Christmas Ray thanks for another great video!!! and have a happy new year!!
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you!
Ray, thanks for doing this. I had actually just seen an ad for this place on social media. Your review convinced me to NOT go and waste my time there!!! It seems really tacky, low-rent & worthless. So, again, thank you! And merry christmas!
Great video that is a cool place to visit and i miss blockbuster
Me too!
I have A LOT of favorite Christmas movies but my top top fave would probably be Polar Express. I know some people think its a bit creepy but I just love the story and the music. It just gives me all the emotions.
Cool vid there ray. Reminds me of the blockbuster in town in the 80's now its a Walgreens. Lol ...but at least there's a rare drive in theater in Warwick NY still thriving. "scrooged" and a "Christmas story" in 1983. 🍿
Great tour! I don’t know anything much about Harry Potter either. You’re not alone.
I grew up in a little village, about 7 miles out of the town centre. The town had a blockbusters, which was great, but I much preferred out little video rental store.
It always had a great selection, which included many 80s B movies that I loved, and it also had a little arcade in back.
My favourite Christmas movie?
I love home alone, but I actually prefer the sequel.
I like bad Santa. Really funny film.
Scrooged with bill Murray was always a favourite. Gremlins too.
Mickey's Christmas Carroll is a classic.
Did you ever see the santa claus with Dudley Moore and john lithgow?
I loved watching that every year too.
I never saw that one, I'll have to check it out
My favorite Christmas movie has to be A Christmas Carol. Second is Elf. I’m a fan of Harry Potter, read them all as they were published and saw all the movies with my kids , very interesting stories and the movies were well done .
The only good use for an Abercrombie.
You should watch Harry Potter. I thought it was going to be the lamest, childish crap. But I watched the first movie and I fell in love.
As a person who worked at a Hollywood Video, it isn't the same with streaming. I miss the BSing with customers about movies, showing them something they didn't know about or vice versa. Also favorite Christmas movie is Gremlins.
Tarantino said the same thing
There is one blockbuster in Oregon still.
Can they recreate pre 2008 America? Before the financial crash?
Back to the future..lol
Abercrombie & Broke
I never got into Harry Potter either. I watched the first half of the original movie, but it just didn't appeal to me, same with Lord of The Rings.
