I grew up going to Blockbuster wandering the aisles looking for any VHS I could rent. As an adult I got to work for them and to this day, it's still my favorite job I've had. This whole vlog was a trip down memory lane. Thank you Josh.

So sorry I missed the premier! I had a phone call, but just finished the replay. Wow - the memories this brought back - those were the days, especially in a small town. 😄 Pretty cool that this exists. Thanks so much for sharing your visit! 😊
I have that same Nightmare Before Christmas display just hanging right up here on my wall. I got that at Suncoast vidio back in "94". I still have some vhs movies too. I also kept all the vhs Disney travel planning videos they used to send us. I would love to see this place. It was so much fun just picking out our movies for the weekend. Thanks for showing us around.
Caught the replay. Thank you! What great memories you brought back for me! I have to check out their page to see if they will be near Allentown PA at all. Thanks again Josh! Keepin' it Retro!!
This was incredible. This brings back so many memories running to our local one with my kids. Love how they’re finding original shelving, rugs, etc. Thats some great details Appreciate this Josh. Oh yes, we had a Mom n Pop Shop too which had a huge selection as well. Woo whooo. Tim
Where I live in my county there Blockbuster would be in a strip mall near a grocery store and always a pizzeria next door. You had your movie, pizza and beer or soda ready for you. great memories.
Blockbuster should have never closed, the owner had an opportunity to invest in netflix and they didnt. Then after netflix got popular they tried to merge again but it was too late. Then Blockbuster tried to go online but it didnt work out. Blockbuster was the teenage hangout spot and for friends and families. I remember when you walked into Blockbuster it made you feel good and a temporary escape from reality.
Very cool....I still have my Blockbuster Memebership Card in my wallet. I live in San Diego and I need to make a trip to central florida to see this place!
Wow talk about a flashback I used to work for the store in my little town in South Texas start it off as a what we call the CSR customer service representative you cleaned up and put the videos back on the shelf then worked my way up to assistant manager I worked there for almost 10 years then got fired come to find out later the staff were vicious people and then later found out that the store manager was stealing from the company, he got fired quite ironic karma sucks doesn't it? Also some of the customers that we had were cry babies they would call in on busy Friday night Saturday night's asking for movies and we would have lines and have all four registers open well one of the customers complained the next day to the manager that we didn't take care of his phone call right away we had lines of people..... people in the store came first....and he calls the next day and complains that he was left on hold for a long time how about you get up get in your car and go find out the movie you're looking for is available instead of calling the next day and crying to the store manager that you were left on hold for a long time how pathetic. Others would threaten to sue for being charged late fees or rewind fees. Smh... 😂
OLD DOES NOT MEAN CLASSIC!!!!!! Holy shit you said CLASSIC an unbelievable 11 times, and Nostalgic 9 times in this video. Lets Fondly Remember The Corporate Video Rental Store that killed all the Video Rental Stores

How surreal to see them build a blockbuster experience like it's museum exhibit. Sheesh, I feel old lol
