- Six Flags has announced the return of Memberships & Dining Plans for the 2023 Season for all of their US Parks (including Great Adventure, Magic Mountain, America, and more). I break down prices & benefits of the new season passes to help you decide which membership level is worth it for you and your family. Plus, I have some major money saving tips (especially if you frequent Magic Mountain!)

And just like that they completely changed their entire pass structure. What in the world? Do they have any idea what they're doing over there? You need to get a platinum pass to be able to go to a park other than your home park (the only exception are for certain water parks and what not.
Question, with diamond pass, can you bring 1 friend free?
I got grandfathered in with an old gold membership for $12 activate and $6.99/month. Then that year they offered free platinum upgrade so I got upgraded. Then Covid hit and gave me an upgrade to diamond because I kept my membership even when the park was closed. So now I’m diamond and still only pay $6.99/month. They also paid me back with a gift card for all the months they were closed for Covid. Glad I didn’t cancel my membership. Now I’m keeping it til I die. Lol.

You forgot to mention they increased the wait time between meals from 1.5hrs to 3hrs to keep you in the park longer to hopefully spend more money
Thank you! I'm holding onto my legacy Gold+ for now, but would consider going to 6f🇺🇸 for the platinum if I wanted to go anywhere else. I think I'd still get $20 back when/if my + ends. I hope the company doesn't go chapter 11 again!
Over Texas people can save with a 3 hour drive to Frontier City and save $85 a person to get into SFOT and HH Arlington. Or save $40:each to get into all Parks.
Changed again. You have to get the Diamond pass to be able to go to all parks. And the price is $249 across the board. No trying to go to a different park to make it your home park because the price is less. 😢
I was paying $102.00 a month. Four Diamond Elite passes with dining pass, VIP parking and a lot of other amenities. I cancelled my membership because it was very unenjoyable going there when they opened up after COVID.
I am getting the Diamond Pass! I really don’t care about the dining pass but I do care about parking! I have a platinum pass now which in closes parking but it’s general parking! Since COVID they did away with the bus and trams to pick you up and drive you to the gate. So no matter how early you get there you have to park clear at the end almost to the staff parking lot, way past Scream. Having preferred parking is worth the extra money for me rather than walk 3/4 of a mile in the heat just to get to the gate. Also my home park is Magic Mountain and at night the park lot is super creepy at night.

This is so wild because Six Flags Great America in Chicago doesn't have any membership offerings right now. They are offering Gold pass, Platinum pass, and Diamond pass. For us, the 2023 Platinum pass does not include other Parks across the country. It includes the two hurricane harbors we have here in Northern Illinois but it says you have to upgrade to Diamond to get access to other parks in the nation.
The 2023 gold pass expires the first week in September, thus eliminating Fright Fest. So no Hurricane Harbor and no Fright Fest on the gold pass, which used to be included.
Yeah, they completely changed the entire structure again. How do you roll out a new membership program and then change it completely a month later? Crazy...

Hi, I’m totally new to the ticket stuff with six flags. I plan on purchasing the annual pass, so if I plan a day to go do I need to print out tickets for that day? Or do I show them on my phone that I purchased the annual pass? A code? I’m totally new to this please explain to me how do I use the annual pass please

For the Diamond membership, what type of discounts are included with the "50% weekday cabana discounts"? Is it like 50% off the cabana rental?
I haven’t been to six flags in over a decade. I just bought a platinum membership for $90. I’m confused about the parking. General parking is included to platinum. When you drive in, is there a sign to show u were general parking is? Also, I just have the print out. I have to get the card at the entrance. Would that affect parking my first time? I saw the outrageous parking fees. So I really want to make sure that I park in the correct lot. And what I need to bring my first time
Hello, you mentioned that parking is free for all Six Flags owned parking lots. Are there parks where parking is not included?
I wonder if I can get one pass for the free parking, and then add the cheaper passes for the rest of the fam. And use the better pass for discounts since you’re the main one buying, hm
I’m keep my diamond elite vip pass that I’ve since it came out and I’m only 45$ a month because I got a flash pass added and I get four skip the line passes every visit and I get 50% everything in the park and I get 2meals and one snack every visit so I’m keeping my pass

I believe so. They just changed everything again, but they will honor the membership that you've purchased and the terms that you agreed to.
These are not memberships, they are season passes named like the old memberships.
This just in: you can upgrade your season pass (different from memberships) to include Hurricane harbor for an additional $20. Right now, that means the pass would cost $100.
They are clearly trying to push everyone towards membership... I guess they have more faith in monthly payments...

Exactly. My diamond still has 35% off everything and the soda bottle etc and I started as gold but got upgraded for free because of promotions and Covid. Not gonna cancel ever now. Lol.

@Gabriel Acevedo didn't say how much discount to bring a guest with you. Only shows 5 person specialty rate. And gets 20% discount on food and merchandise for Diamond pass.
I purchased Platinum annual pass in Six Flags Over Texas. So This is my Home park. Then, For activate my membership, I have to go my home park first!! But my Q is The date that I'll go to my home park to activate my membership doesn't matter?? Can I go to my home park whenever I have a time??
No, it shouldn't matter when you go.
You have to activate your membership at your home park before visiting at another six flags

There are also two other passes - Extreme (for $175) and Ultimate (for $350). Do you know the cost of entrance if you have of the Specialty rate tickets that come with the Extreme pass? I can't seem to find this info..

As far as I can tell, Six Flags is no longer doing the Extreme and Ultimate Pass for the 2023 season, unless they are keeping that info a secret... They seem to be returning to the membership model and only have one season pass option which only includes entry to the Great Adventure theme park (unless you do a $20 upgrade for Hurricane Harbor as well). If you have a link to where they are selling the ultimate and extreme passes for next season, please send it my way!
Also, I don't know how much those discounted tickets are. If you go through the live chat on their website, just ask for a real person and you'll be able to live chat with someone who can answer that question.
