  • **Big thanks to Brian "Big Bass" for being professionally candid during our session.**
What's it like to work with the same guy who contributed to Dr. Dre's gangsta-funk sound, who has worked on half of the songs on the radio RIGHT NOW, who is one of the most influential people to the sound of music today and for the past 40+ years??
Here ya go! Brian's got stories for days. He is not only one of the most skilled people in music today, but he's a hella cool dude! No wonder everyone wants to work with him!
This is footage from our recent session at the famous Bernie Grundman Mastering studios in Hollywood, CA! Look out for more videos soon chronicling the making of four brand new groundbreaking songs, including the sessions with super engineer/producer Starita-SF at the Freq Lab in SF.
Don't sleep... you just might miss the ride of a lifetime.
    **Songs heard in video:
    - My Way (C'est si Bon Remix)
    - Baby, You Can Dance
    - Rollin'
    - American Way
!!!! LOOK OUT FOR THE NEW UNCLE DOUGHBOY EP: "4Banger" soon !!!

+mudra lux gaba Brian uses a heavily modded API that is set to the exact specs for BGM by the in house techs. Here's a video where you can get a closer look at his rig: ruclips.net/video/6C6F3HPgtFk/видео.htmlm18s
I asked about the Yamaha monitors, I knew they were a gift from DJ Quik. Most of Brian's magic is not in the equipment he uses, rather it's the sound in the room and his very seasoned veteran ears.
