last winter i spent 2 months in Mojacar, winter just gone i spent 2 months in Torrevieja. I know where i am going to go from now on, and it dont start with T. Mojacar is just wonderful, and the playa is wonderful too.
Very nice. But not sure what you'd do if you stayed there any length of time or actually lived there, especially out of season. Btw: in Spain there is a difference between a "Hostel" and a "Hostal". The former tends to cater for backpackers, with cheap, multi-dorm rooms. The latter is more equivalent to the French "Pension" with often surprisingly good value rooms and breakfasts.
I don't fancy Mojacar Pueblo myself but Mojacar Playa has a beautiful 2.5km paseo, a cliffside walk to the next beach and a couple of dozen restaurants open all winter in the paseo area alone...pretty hot in the summer months but fabulous weather most of the year. There are lots of English-speaking residents and it's easy to make friends. You could go for a walk and then get your breakfast outdoors in the sun most days, play golf and/or bowls, do yoga or other exercise classes, quiz nights, watch (free) bands at the weekend (and some of them are pretty decent), go on trips as part of organised groups, explore other parts of Andalucia, Mercia and Valencia and the motorways are pretty quiet so you can easily drive and explore elsewhere. Of course it's not going to be everybody's cup of tea but it looks a pretty good place to retire to me.

Always thought it was nice there Barry. I was once there on a very misty rainy day. Not so nice then. Great place to visit
Good job
There’s a lift 😂 it takes a lot of the climb out of it.
@roory78 where is the fun in that. Baz

...and Almeria has a decent football team as well 😉
Be encouraged to drive 400 km more and visit Ronda and the towns in the area, they are even more beautiful than Mojacar.
It looks quiet in Mojcar Pubelo, I guess it would be if filming was between 2 to 5pm, did not see many people, and reason why
And it’s wasn’t the summer season when it was filmed check the upload date. Cheers for the watching.
Looks really nice, been on my bucket list for a while but I think I'd need a better guide than you 🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Very interesting. Graham After brexit Brit
Andalusia is very diffrent from Comunidad Valencia
All regions of Spain are different from each other. And from south to north, the change is even more spectacular in architecture and landscapes.
@@salozinp I know we been to tarifa, gib, malaga, granada, valencia
I could quite happily get lost in Mojácar Barry 😎
