I am doing a promotion in this game. Some funny things you may like about the way mine is going:
1. I have Ryback and Scott Steiner in a feud because that is just awesome. They have actually had great matches and good chemistry.
2. Last week, my promotion did something many have wanted to see happen for years, turned John Cena heel.
3. I had 2 wrestlers; Dusty Rhodes and Brutus Beefcake; die during the same Royal Rumble match.
4. Road Dogg got suspended for 6 months for drugs while being 1/2 of the tag champs. I just stripped them of the belts and put them up for grabs in a match between Harlem Heat and Money Inc, which Harlem Heat won. I am working on giving Billy Gunn a singles push while Road Dogg is out.
5. I created Titles (really just trophies) for both the Womens division and a Legends division.
6. I just signed Das Wunderkind, because why would you not?
7. I renamed all of the wrestlers that I could to their regular names. There are a few that I could not change.
8. I do a Royal Rumble (Countdown Battle Royal) as often as I can and sometimes I use mini versions of the event to determine #1 contenders.
My current champs are:
World Title: Ric Flair
US Title: Dolph Ziggler
Tag Titles: Harlem Heat
Legends Title: Big Bossman
Womens' Title: Miss Voila

i know this game (and wrestling revolution) inside and out and i watch these videos and try to tell you guys how to play through the computer screen over and over and over again. it never works
I have a question: how the fuck do you win?
to be honest, aside from just getting really good at the game & getting into the flow of how it plays (something i did), you can always just walk around outside the ring and beat the shit out of your opponent with weapons, bring them back in the ring to hit your finish, and win.

ah, ratings in booking rev. they're a pain in the ass. you could pretty much do it the same way, but also creating storylines (something the boiz did a bit of in this video with the pre match dialogues) and continuously booking the same people against one another. eventually they form a rivalry (or instantly if you do the pre match dialogues and make them not like each other) and that makes all moves double in their worth in ratings and keeps the pace of the match at a considerably higher rate.
