For the added cost of business class you got an empty seat next to you, a plum tart and a nonalcoholic beverage. All very nice, but I could forego those for a 35-minute flight if the savings upgraded my hotel and/or paid for a nice dinner. A 12-hour flight would be another matter!
My thoughts exactly. Extremely little value added for C class. No real service on the ground, (lounge? preferred waiting area with some offerings?), seating is Y with an empty seat next to you, and that plum tart is one really expensive treat. Where is a pre-take off drink, where a refill during your meal (yes, possible in 35 minutes with a service oriented crew) where any sign at all that you're a valued premium customer? I still wonder for how long LH paid Skytrax for that fifth star, and when it will be, at long last, deservedly be taken away again.
People who end up in business class on those super short flights usually connect to a long haul flight at the hub. Also, some might need the extra baggage, flexibility and miles. Idk.
I am always excited when my home airport of Luxembourg is featured :D If you get the chance, maybe try Luxair's routes to Dubai or Cape Verde, I would be interested how their service stacks up againts the competition on those rather long routes.
Me; 35 mins flight ok economy will be good 👍🏻 Simply Aviation: 35 mins flight business class will be good 👍🏻 Me: Business class will be nice for 12 hour flight 👍🏻 Simply Aviation: Economy is more than enough for 12 hours 👍🏻 Me: Bruh
That was a great deal of a flight, only 35 minutes yet still served a snack of a plum tart and fresh fruit. How many US flights of only 35 mins serve that?
I am fan of your channel. I am not having chance to fly like you guys.but when I watch this it is same feeling i am Flying. Just for my information is this business class? Seems LCC for me.
The international court is mainly for settling disputes between entire countires rather than being the highest instance for indiviual cases. If you sue let's say an airline in the EU because they didn't reimburse you for a cancelled flight, the highest court you could push the case up to is the European Court of Justice, not the International Court of Justice, because the latter isn't responsible for deciding on national laws.
US airline CRJs are even smaller than the one in this video, that's why they only have a 1-2 configuration. And also, the CRJ flights in the US have no meals, let alone one as nice as this one with a plum tart, fresh fruit, and a beverage in an actual glass (plastic cups are used on the drink service on US CRJs, drinks being the only thing they serve at all on them)
So you paid 3 times the price to have no one sit next to you and a plum tart? Good value. You could have bought the seat next to you in economy and brought your own plum tart for twice the money 🤔
We always include the pricing information in the description of each video. In this case, we paid €139 two flights in Business Class, as well as one on a private jet, a 525C CitationJet (which we also have a Tripreport about). I would argue that this was an exceptional value and more than justifies us flying in Business Class on this Luxembourg to Frankfurt leg of the trip.
Will never understand the concept of a "business class" which is exactly the same as economy class while paying more money. No advantage of leg space or seat pitch or anything.
Honestly... what is the point offlying such a ridiculously short distance? You can drive it in three hours and the train takes about two and a half and that is into the city centre. I reckon that to get to the same city centre (FRA) by air would actually take longer .. call it an hour to get checked in and boarded... an hour on the plane (including taxying etc) and another hour to get off the plane, and clear the airport... plus there is still the hassle of then having to find your way to the city centre.. be it hire a car, a taxi or a train. I just had a look and this same trip can be done in two and a half hours for 19 Euros (all in). Makes zero sense to me why this air route even exists.
My mom is a huge fan of Lufthansa !! Lol. When she was young she thanked a Lufthansa pilot in person after her flight & the pilot's reaction was so ~sweet & gentleman like ...like a movie ! She's still talking about that to this day ! Lol. I think Lufthansa 's pilot's are excellent, somehow I trust Germans when it comes to those things & manufacturing things ,so on .They are just smart !!! As well as British Airways pilot's skills !!! If I 'll ever have to fly somewhere risking my life ,I want them to be in the cockpit !!! Lol.👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈🛫🛬💞
Booked a ticket from Luxembourg to Madrid and since there was no non-stop flight I had to transfer somewhere. Rather than being outraged at me, you should be outraged that cross-border high-speed rail is still very limited in most parts of Europe.
Hey please cover some more airports of India like Kolkata ,Indore , Chennai , Ahemdabad , Jaipur , Leh , Bangaluru , Hyderabad , Bhopal , Goa , Trivendram I am bored to see the airports of Other countries
The reason why CRJs in the US are 1-2 configuration and in Europe a 2-2 is because the CRJs are even smaller aircrafts than this one in this video, I can tell by looking. I've been on Continental CRJs, there's no room to swing a cat inside them. The US airline CRJs are the smallest passenger aircrafts of all that aren't propeller planes
Be careful with shots of people. It is illegal to film people in Luxembourg without their explicit approval to the extent that if someone breaks into your home and you have a security camera and you don’t have approval to have one from the state, the burglar can sue you. I would check with a local lawyer to make sure you guys don’t get into trouble

Don't care, didn't ask, complete nonsense.
Everyone can fly on which route they want.
Ever heard of connecting flights..?
But Air Canada has in flight entertainment on their CRJ 900 ;)
my question: does this flight have economy seats, and if it does, will it fit a grownup?
short answer, yes but a very very small one.
it is really cramped. I flew the same route a month ago. But if you are used to Ryanair you will easily survive.
@@JesseKijhoop I once flew to Prague via Ryanair, it was not too bad, better than easyjet, in my opinion
