Update:
- Japan's Fuji TV, TV Asahi, and TV Tokyo, along with Hong Kong's ViuTVsix had changed it's intros just recently. This compilation will be changed Next Year, along with other National News Intros.

I find it funny how Japan and somewhat South Korea used more elegant and nice looking graphics and music to make there intro more modern…

You can see Japanese TV stations have actually thrown away the long news-intro with exciting music. It is quite unique.
Yes, sometimes with just "piano melody", with glassy look intro. No "drummy and orchestral music" that can broke our ears. :3
Maybe it's because they treat it like any other TV program, not a different genre like other countries. Many Japanese TV show has a similar style.

근데, 우리나라는 개성없이 전부 네이비 블루에, 인트로 음악에 힘이 잔뜩들어가있음. 좀더 방송국마다 특징이 있었음 좋겠다
사운드 디자인을 신경 안써서 그런듯
진짜 JTBC인트로가 그나마 혁명이였는데
좀 더 부드러우면서 귀가 집중되는 전통적인 시그널 있었으면 좋겠다
하나의 프로그램정도로 생각하지 않고 이건 뉴스다!!이런느낌으로 생각하게하려고 만들어서 그럴거임
일본거 보면 캐쥬얼하게 다른 쇼프로그램같이 밝은음악으로 구성되어있음
파란색 계열이 워낙 집중력과 암기력을 높여서 그래요. 특히 중요한 소식이 나올 때마다 속보로 내보내야 하는 뉴스 입장에서는 그만큼 집중할 수 있는 색체를 내보내야 하고요. 그리고 너무 원색에 가까운 색을 쓰면 집중력이 흐트러지기도 합니다.
퀄리티 낮은 개성보단 그냥 퀄리티 좋고 뉴스의 특성에 맞는 전문적인 이미지를 피력하는 게 훨씬 낫다고 봄. 나는 오히려 현행 디자인이 최선이라고 생각함

こう比べると日本のニュース番組はNHKはちょっと硬い感じだけど全体的に見て出演者やスタジオの雰囲気、スタジオのセットが明るく、モダンな感じがして、他の東アジアの国々とはなんか違う日本独特な感じがあるよね。

韓国→ザ・ニュースな感じで好きなんだけど全部同じ色、同じようなデザインだから局のオリジナル感を出して欲しい

台湾→同じく全体的に古く感じる。
Are there only news intros on terrestrial tv station? In our South Korea, Channel A(launched by Dong-A Ilbo Daily News), TV Chosun(launched by Chosun Ilbo Daily News), MBN are also regarded as terrestrial tv channel although they are cable tv system. Because they also schedule all kind of programs like JTBC. Next time, I suggest please add Channel A, TV Chosun, and MBN's primetime news programs.
We are still dealing with Major Terrestrial Stations. Yes JTBC, MBN, TV Chosun, Channel A, and YTN are Cable TV Networks. However Terrestrial TV Networks as FTA (Free to Air), this is why they are not included on the list. We will have a separate compilation for Cable TV Networks soon. JTBC on the other had is included on the list, because the Network used to be a Terrestrial FTA Channel as TBC before they got forcibly merged with KBS in 1980, then JTBC was back in 2011 which is served as the original TBC from 1964.

These are all free-to-air mainstream TV channels. Phoenix TV is not a free-to-air TV station in Hong Kong, it can only be accessed via cable deals.
