Best version, very nice to hear Strauss himself on the piano and Reining is a classic Straussian soprano.
She was the voice of Strauss par excellence ....a pity we have no recording of Vier letzte Lieder sung by Reining

Reining is far better than the other 3 imo. Especially in Richard Strauss.
@@certified_modernschoolhater Tebaldi never sung Strauss , a pity because she was a voice for Strauss....Caballe spoke German quite well and Popp is the best soprano for Carmina Burana
