Well said. ASMR has been legitimized. So has Pica been legitimized. The service of providing anxiety relief is a higher calling. It requires skill, strength and TIME-many hours each day. ASMR and earthy crumble videos have tremendous value as is evidenced by the number of ASMR channels and their respective subscribers. Not everyone can create textures, shapes, ideas and then perform recording and editing of sessions. EVERYDAY, sometimes multiple times. A select few will be successful because of their hard work and perseverance. It is called having a craft and applying skills. In other words, it should be considered a job or profession. Just as I pay someone to cut my hair or landscape my property, I would expect to help support the professionals who provide stress relief. Some people do not mind paying the bar tender for a glass of stress relief. But, some of us prefer our stress relief delivered in videos like the ones we see on this channel. The problem is people are offended by having to watch ads. People who are casual viewers assume the channel owners are making vast sums of money off of the ads. RUclips makes it very difficult to monetize channels with a healthy return. I expect more and more channel owners will migrate to other platforms which make the viewing process easy for the viewers. YT offers ad free subscriptions, which is my personal preference. It’s RUclips Red. I pay a monthly fee for no ads. There are other ways of getting around ads, but the bottom line is, our video creators deserve to be compensated for their time and skills. I, too, have little tolerance for petty, small minded notions which express the opinions that viewers are entitled to tell creators what to upload and when. All FOR FREE and without viewing ads. RUclips never gives anything away for free. They never will. Anyone who feels the need to take issue with my comment here is free to come over to my house and discuss it with me, while I watch them clean my house for free. This is essentially what they are asking for...a donation of time and skill with no compensation. The nerve and sense of entitlement that some children possess never ceases to amaze me. I just popped in to comment quickly. Thank God for our ASMRtists!
