One of the biggest issues with Greedent isn't he's useless, it's would you rather have Greedent or any other defender in the game, same with Sableye. This makes them situational at best and Greedent has to be compared to some of the best Pokémon in the game, Slowbro, Trevenant, Umbreon, Blastoise.
100% - this 'pest class would be great for a 6v6 bigger map

"pest" class is really the best way to describe it. It's not exactly a tank but uses mobility to frontline and provide vision for the team.
Whenever I'm on a losing streak and i get kinda tilted, i just play a game of jungle invade greedent, most of the time it just makes me happy and by not taking things too seriously i calm down and get back to the grind lol

I did this the other day and it worked really well. I haven't played Greedent very much, but I wanted to be as annoying as possible and we ended up winning.
The only issue i have atm with greedent is the bullet seed bug. Outside of that, i love the little guy
It's sad bc I'm not even sure if it's a bug or a un noted change they intended....iirc this same thing happened a few months back, and they fixed it, but now it's happened again and they haven't changed it back😢

@@OfficialKoven so when you are using bullet seed now, greedent can be stunned out of it and it completely stops using the move..... It was never like that, until a few months ago when this issue happened after a patch.... It was patched back to normal, but fast forward a few months and now it's happened again. And this time they haven't fixed it back😭

retweet, quote, favorite. repost. i main greedent. this season i went from ultra four to masters in two days with covet belch greedent. you genuinely are absolutely right. people dont olay greedent because they dont know how to use it. greedent requires some sort of skill. thank you for saying this. greedent goes really well with garde, i covet belch around the enemy team ahd garde future sights them and kos them bc of the stun from covet.
Finally, the greatest (and cutest) Pokemon in Aeos Island! I could talk about Greedent all day. They're the only reason I keep coming back to this cursed game.

I always go back to Greedent but invader Metagross has proved to be surprisingly effective as well. Iron Defense is like the best level 1 move in the game for brawling.

You should probably lower the background music and sound effects in the game when you explain, just because it covers some of your audio and makes it harder to hear. It's a great video though, glad to see Greedent getting some recognition even though it's role in matches is a bit odd.
I use covet bullet seed combo, i know it stupidly weak and hard to use 😅
This is funny, I’ve actually been playing it a lot lately and it is pretty good. Covet is solid mobility and sustain and belch us great damage if you can land. The unite move also does a lot of damage and has so much utility
As a Greedent main, I actually still use the belch stuff jungle invade, it's not as good as it was, but it still is funny to use on ranked
A good greedent player shows what nightmare this pokemon is I am actually happy that no one plays this pokemon much but in higher lobby I sometimes encounter it .

I have had allot of discusting games where as soon as i get ahead in levels i will break their first goals and take the new mons that spawn while they are trying to take them and then i will continue to take everything else while they all are trying to gank me but they will fail misserably as i bullet seed them to dead while they follow me
I don't think I've seen a Belch Covet Greedent after coming back to the game. Literally every Greedent player I see (including me) just invades with Bullet Seed and Stuff Cheeks now. They might just be doing it because they saw me in another game though.. I do see other Greedents surprisingly often.
It's no longer the most broken character in the game but will always remain in the invader hall of fame as a top tier harasser along with Talon and Crustle.
in solo q i am running a score shield and goal getter and my goal is to annoy enemy's team and scoring more points possible before rayquaza fights btw it is so sad that people do not know how to play around greedent
It just sucks to play as a scorer. That's also why many don't play defenders in general...
I give my defenders som ampf and it destroys the enemy, still no time for that fat ugly squirrel

Always remember that the opponent sees there's a Greedent on your team. The mind games start from then on. They know that left unchecked, you'll just cause absolute chaos, so it's a guarantee they'll always chase you. You don't need to score KOs, you just need to kite and waste time as much as possible. Invading the opponent's central area and taking their buffs is good, but taking the buffs and have them chase you is better. It can put the opposing team at a level deficit if done throughout a match because if they're out of position it lets your team farm the mobs that are usually contested by the opponent.
I never seen anybody using full heal on greedent while using bullet seed , you can combo
Greedent plays much like a speedster pick only if u have another tank or bulky team becase they will have to defend themselves. Covet build only if they have a lot of cc and curse bagle is goated right now

Greedent is like some niche mons, where if you don't use him for a season, you just forget how to play him. Used to be mad with Belch on release, then lost that. Learned Bullet Seed and now I cant do that either.
Finally people are talking about greedent. I use greedent all the time so Iam happy that people finally don’t hate this thing like sableye. 🎉
I think the problem I have with Greedent is that I can't feel he's powerful enough to counter attack against some Pokemons. Goodra,Blastoise and Umbreon does a better job defending than him. I love Greedent but I can't rely on him to defend or attack but I do love how his a troll to score and leave like it was nothing

greedent’s existence is countered by buzzwole, which is currently the best pokemon in the game. buzzwole superpower ends covet instantly, completely wasting your entire move

I agree. Both games were a bad example because the first game they didn't have a defender and second game he had 2 defenders on his team. Team comp matters and greedenet is at best a pesky all-rounder and not a solo defender.
Buzzwole is pretty good right now, but it is NOT the best pokemon in the game lol.
@glasscanny9130 I think it is. There's a reason he's in damn near every game I've been in at top 900 ranked. I'm a solo q player, and he's a nightmare to go against because he can easily cancel key abilities or outright wipe your entire backline with a simple combo, and there's nothing you can do about it. Did you know he can even catch snorlax mid-air?

The issue isn't greedent. The issue is other players. It's similar to sable problems. Nobody knows how to play with one on the team. That goes for A LOT of pokemon on the roster. Defenders, supporters have a big problem where if your team is bad, you will lose. Its very difficult to win ges as a solo q defender or supporter. Greedent is pretty decent but with a bad team, he is even WORSE.

Greedent is not bad considering how many of the new pokemon just stick to jungle, but it kind of just gets walled by buzzwole who just sits there canceling your moves
There's no need to make a video about the skill diff ppl have on Greendent. Yes, we know there's still great squirrels out there. But for the most part we have nutty ones 😅
Greedent is just stupid... I've killed many and really easily so I make sure my teammates don't pick it.
