There r sleep, but wake them up, cause u have to feed them, and help them poop, and pee-pee!! I clean them everyday, and play with them with the toys I gave to them!! The biggest litter I raised was 9, and it was a handful!! But the joy of seeing them grow up, and most got new homes to only ppl that love cats, and helped me to raise them!! That is when they would pick out the 1 they wanted!! Yes, it's alot of work, but I love Animals!!

I have a dear friend who ends up with between 40 and 55 cats and kittens dropped off at her home each year. I have assumed care for 5 of her kittens over the years. It is incredible to me that so many people give over their responsibilities to others, For many years she had the services of a reasonable vet for the sterilizing surgeries, but not so much any more in our community.
We had an old farmer who have multiple cats living on his property, he probably was feeding them but never getting them sterilized so they kept making kittens. Well my husband found that several had moved into our horse barn and started making kittens now on our property, my husband was dying of cancer and he must of thought I feed these cats and God will take me to heaven. So after he died I trapped them and got a vet who gave inexpensive spay and neuter services and ear tips and got all of them fixed then I feed them them and they lived out their natural life and now they are all deceased. But we can’t help the animals without a vet willing to donate their help for a little while, they no longer help anymore. The TNR with vaccination is the policy advocated by Alley Cats Allie’s as the best and most humane way of dealing with feral cats. PETA claim it’s cruel but as a person who was bitten badly by a feral cat and had to pay for it to be quarantined you have no choice because they hate humans, we are the enemy never to be trusted. At least I didn’t have to undergo the Rabies shots. My feral cats lived longer than 15 years in our barn and they kept the field mice down, they got along with our horse. The ferals get started when people fail to sterilize their pets and then turn them loose because the original pet owners have failed them so it’s really a people problem. We have rescued a German Shepherd that we saw two men push out of their car, we were right behind them and they shoved her out on a country road. We opened our door and she hopped right in. They are cowards they think that is a solution but that is incredibly cruel, they dump them in the country in hopes that somebody else will adopt them but they can starve or get hit by a car and lay at the side of a road dying slowly and suffering. An animal has to be taught to hunt for food by their family like a wolf or coyote pack do. We contacted the German Shepherd rescue and they were going to try training her as a dog for the blind. She was very smart, we were going to keep her but my daughter has severe allergies and she made her sick, so we couldn’t.

It is sad but up to 30% of females have trouble delivering, according to Googles new Artificial Intelligence it answers complex questions. Here's what it says as to the cause of dystocia (inability to deliver): Slow or arrested labor: Labor that is abnormally slow or stops progressing, too many possibilities to count, and Shoulder dystocia: An obstetric emergency that occurs when the baby's shoulders become trapped after the head is delivered. I hope she was able to deliver the rest.
