    Question.?. Will you Frankenstein trike kit fit on a 2002 Yamaha V- Star 650.?. Also where are you guys located at.?.

    • @frankensteintrikesusa

      We do not build kits for shaft-driven bikes.
      We're located in Pleasanton, KS an hour south of Kansas City but we have dealers all over.
      Check our website, www.frankensteintrikes.com for more info and to see our dealers.

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  2 года назад

      The price varies depending on what package you're wanting to get. Here's a link to the kit for your bike:
      frankensteintrikes.com/trike_kits_flt-flh-roadking_2013-up_page.html
      We do have a reverse that would work, but most of our customers find they don't need a reverse because our trike kit only adds 120-150 lbs to the weight of the bike, compared to other trike kits that are quite heavier.
      Give us a call for more details, our number is (913) 352-6788 and we're open Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm CST.

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  Год назад

      It depends on the year and model of bike and exhaust. Generally, if the exhaust go past the front of the rear wheel currently on the bike, it won't work with our kit.

    How many labor hrs is in one of these conversions?

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  5 месяцев назад

      It really depends. Some of our customers stretch it out over a weekend, but some are able to finish it within a day. We usually are able to convert a bike within around 6 hours, but the triple tree takes longer and depends on the triple tree. Sportster trees take less time than touring model trees.

    I like the looks of the axle and swingarm. But just fenders and losing the saddle bags I don’t care much for. Do you’ll sale a more of a rear body kit with a lower trunk?

    • @frankensteintrikesusa

      Our kits do not have a body or a trunk. Most of our customers will use a tour pack or something similar. For more information, check out www.frankensteintrikes.com or give us a call at (913) 352-6788. We're open Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm CDT.

    Converting a bike to a trike is expensive and you have a lot of parts left over. A side car is cheaper by far . They are so much lighter as well. Plus you can take your dog 🐶🐕 with you.

    I am a 61 year old grandma and just bought myself a motorbike.
    Would your kit work on my vintage 2014 Indian Classic? If so, how much does one of your kits cost please ? I'm from Quebec, Canada
    Thank you very much for your help, it is my dream to have a three wheeler :)

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  3 года назад

      We have done some older Indians in the past, but we haven't done anything newer. If it's bike or chain drive, our kit would probably work. We would need a couple measurements to determine which one of our kits would work.
      The first measurement is the overall width of the rear wheel and tire.
      Place a straight edge on both side of the rear wheel and tire then measure in-between the two straight edges.
      The second measurement is the distance from the edge of tire to the outside edge of the pulley or chain.
      We would not have a swing arm for your bike.
      Your swing arm would have to be modified.
      If you have any questions, please give us a call.
      Our number is (913) 352-6788 and we're open Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm CDT.

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  3 года назад +1

      Usually saddle bags will not work, as they will hit the fender brackets. Some of our customers have made custom brackets for saddlebags or moved them forward or up to make it work. A lot of our customers go with a tour pack. We do not offer any tour packs, as there are so many of them.

    • @frankensteintrikesusa
      @frankensteintrikesusa  2 года назад

      The reverse that we have used is from Champion. It is a mechanical reverse kit that goes on the right side of the transmission.
      It works on 1988 and up big twins.
      There is no reverse available for Sportster, V-Rod or the Harley street.
      Our kit adds about 120 to 150 pounds to the weight of the bike.
      Other kits add anywhere between 200-300.
      A bike with our kit installed is easy to push around.
