The Division: Survival DLC PC Gameplay 1440p 144hz ULTRA
It is set in a near future New York City in the aftermath of a viral pandemic; the player, a Special Agent of the Strategic Homeland Division, is tasked with helping the group rebuild its operations in Manhattan, investigate the nature of the outbreak, and combat criminal activity in its wake. - Игры
June 2024. Survival is still the best game mode in the division franchise but also one of the best game modes ever made.
Agree, still in august. The removal of global events (at least 0 info on them) turned me off the game for a while, but I recently got back to it and damn. Nothing comes close.
yup, just extracted, took me about 90 minutes, heart pounding :D
If we ever get a division 3, I’d want this mode back.
I so wish they had added it to Division 2
Heartlands will be your game when it comes out
Well we'll well, guess you get your wish
Now you must be as happy as i am
@@Boone69 absolutely excited
Like the weapon "The White Death" sniper rifle description say in The Division 2: "I miss the snow..." -S.H.
Playing The Division now for the 1st time, having a blast.
It’s a fantastic game
The Division Survival was one of the best times I've ever had with a game, If I could go back I wish I could do it all over again 😭😭
Well the new division heartland game will be like survival mode from the first game
I played this DLC more than the rest of the game. This was the best! BEST! they did not bring this DLC to division 2 and after playing the story, and events in life, I stopped playing D2. IF THEY HAD SURVIVAL I most likely would have kept playing. Now, in 2024 trying to join this mode in division 2 is long and it's next to impossible to get a team. THIS IS SO SAD!!!!!!
division 2 has same mode?
Ubisoft has missed the mark in so many ways with all of their IP’s, like Ghost Recon. This game was awesome and they had no idea.
This is what i Imagined the whole game of the division to be. They should re-release it and tweak it a bit just so it feels a bit more like todays extraction shooters. And make enemies hit harder but have like 150% less health. Would be so good.
Idea for Division 3: Give us the game we saw at E3 years ago. Bring back survival. Add in a realism mode where I dont have to mag dump and basic enemy with an AR to drop them.
I personally feel they should have added this to Division 2 hopefully they will with Division 3!!!
Absolutely
I sooo loved the Snow setting! I hope Division 3 will be in Snow setting again!
Division 1 was great! I was so stoked for the first raid/dungeon... It let me down so hard I never went back to the game after that. Maybe if Division 3 comes out I will reconsider.
It never really reached its potential for sure
I still play this. It's the only thing I play of the Division series.
This brings back so much nostalgia
Me too man..
I liked how everyone started from 0 snd had to grind and kill to get to the end and not get cold and die at the same time
Was never underrated by me, it's a TOP 5 GAME for me all time just the survival mode. I've been playing since the early 80's and along with Mirrors Edge and Prey most gripping to this day.
The Division Survival can still be an incredibly popular game mode with a bit of marketing and dev updates.
This was tarkov before the darkzone was tarkov before tarkov. The drak zone in the division is probably what inspired tarkov
Division what a masterpiece.
Abandoned living alive world, amazing graphics and atmosphere and actually best looter shooter also the ancestor and inspiration extraction games.
The division franchise achilles heel is the fact that making builds is like fucking rocket science mixed with magic...TOo many stats.. Dumb it down and simplify so getting a god roll wont take you 5 years. Stories to go with exotics, don't gatekeep exotics. More weapon customization, and stick with the top tier animations for everything, just bring us more of it. Make skills viable even if you're not build for skill.
Basically we want the Division 1 e3 reveal feeling, they've got the technology to do it.. Lets see them actually do it so Ubisoft might be mentioned amongst top tier creators again.
Great video man! I agree with you, that blizzard looks incredible!
Thanks man! Appreciate you checking it out 👍
Just started playing this today!
great content, thank you for sharing
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I still play it. Sins day one. I even had to make new account because ik had every thing i wanten on all 4 characters hahaa. But im still enjoying every thing
I LOVE the survival mode in D1, that's genuinely the usual reason i hop on D1 for! I really love how i can get sucked into the environment it has in survival.
Played a couple days ago got some good gear got the antivirals. Didn't have enough stuff to make the flair in the dark zone. Some one was calling the chopper i ran up and the player took me out quick. He killed off the hunters revived me and i got out with them lol
i want division survival as a stand alone game ❤❤❤
I'm playing this now lol.
and i'm still playing this at least once a week or so
I stopped playing in early 2016 so I missed out on survival! I love DayZ so they should bring that to Div2!
Yes 100%, it was insanely cool
I know this is old vid but I just stared a new game on division w today. Played a few hours a realised survival was in division 1. Currently going through division q again and the main draw is the map. Fantastic game. Both fantastic games but 1st is Mt fave
Also very surprised the amount of people still playing new and old ❤
Maybe I'm a weirdo but, I'd be so happy if they did a few weeks later in other cities, and just carried all over the affected cities in the states in each entry. The winter, desolate big city feeling made it such an addicting world to explore. I really wanted more from other cities but from a tiger time period (still winter)
1700 hours. That's what I put into this game. I love it.
The division 2 has an amazing thunder storm weather setting, if they ever added survival (they won’t) it should be in that storm.
Nothing will ever beat the first game imo but it’s still cool
Still playing this daily in 2024
Love to see it
'this is such a bad angle' continues to move into gunfire and in the open 😂 god i miss this game, gonna have to reinstall it
The music and the atmosphere are ummatched
I played this game mode a bunch and loved it, even with all the bugs in it. there were times the meds didn't take effect but did count as eaten so i had to wait for it to wear off even though the timer is still counting down. Also Division 1 & 2, NOT a looter / shooter. It's a action RPG.
I have the feeling that the reason why the DC setting fell so short (beyond the uniqueness of Snowy New York) is because of FO3, yeah given, FO3 didn't had as many players as Div 2 on day one, but I'm going to bet that far more people have seen gloomy (and really fucking green) post apocalyptic DC in like the Summer season from a video or a post, or multiple posts, anyways the 6 hour trial for the Division 1 has me absolutely hooked, and I can't wait to have the soothing and extremely deadly wooshing of the angry cold wind be blasted in my ears as I jump from flaming barrel to flaming barrel
can't tell how much i hate survival at the beginning. But after spending more time with that, it's like a wonderfull and special woman that fit's for you - i love it soooo much! i still play td1 cause of survival.
Division Heartland was moving this direction and needed weather bad, but instead they drop it to put more resources into XDefiant... damn shame.
Survival was the best DLC for D1 and did not deserve to perish because the game was loosing players. I really think if surival had been a FREE DLC for D1 that more players would have been around by the time 1.8 rolled around which was a great update but so many people had left already :(
Even if they made a lone standing division survival, I would be so over that!!!
Division 1 was so incredible, just love the setting and the story of the game. Really wished that they've gone the route of a more tactical shooter with a story heavy co-op and not try to make it a looter-shooter that got super you-need-to-fire-up-excel-on-second-monitor boring after finishing the story...
it was best mod I am still playing it, I will pay for an exact same thing only in 4K 120 on my ps5+
Isnt The Division Heartlands supposed to be this idea basically, but without the snow sadly
You know Coming to this video in 2024 after the whole fiasco with "The day before" thing. This is prob the cloest thing we will get to an actual polished and good "the day before" experiance.
Survival was very special, if only it was still super active
This guy is a chad
🗿
TBH I think the whole franchise should be rebooted. Make it more in the style of Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Hardcore tactical shooter.
The whole looter shooter concept is about filler. Padding. Extra stuff without anything actually worthwhile to invest your time in. A good excuse for the devs to appear hard at work creating something expansive, but really just spinning their wheels making small, painstaking edits that result in large gameplay imbalances...ironically intended to address those gameplay imbalances in the first place.
This ultimately leads to time, energy and resources being wasted on constantly trying to adjust in order to make players "happy," rather than adding to the base game content.
Such changes that impact the loot that players already have can also lead to negative community outcry. This sort of passionately frustrated, angry, and sometimes downright hateful atmosphere can lead to burnout for devs, and leave them wanting to abandon the project and move to something new and fresh.
Getting back to the gameplay though...once you get over the excitement of your first High End or Exotic weapon/piece of gear, or complete your first classified gear set...what's really left? Endless grinding for that "perfect" build that finally has a glove set with 0.05% better Exotic Damage Resistance? Really?
And while we're at it...singleplayer games are DEAD don't you know. All Players LOVE PvP, at least according to the internal Corporate Data....right?
But actually no. So many Singleplayer games that have a high quality story, good characters, well written dialogue, and compelling atmosphere are STILL super popular all these years later, and if you add in modding capability...it can extend the lifespan of a game by decades. The Witcher 3...Skyrim...Red Dead Redemption 2...The Master Chief Collection (finally)...
All of these games are absolutely Legendary, and almost Universally Praised and Loved by both Critics and the Paying Masses alike.
Why can't The Division (as a franchise) be crafted to be more like those games in the Pantheon of Greatness? 🤔
I think there's absolutely the potential in the IP itself. But under Ubisoft, I think the situation is pretty hopeless. The only hope I have for a reboot are the numbers/data on The Division 1 players, and the existence of games like GR: Wildlands and Breakpoint.
If only I could make a pitch to Ubisoft...or become Ubisoft CEO overnight lol. The things I could do to fix this franchise...
*cough cough* Division Heartland.
This is a God given mode for us. Too bad they didn't focus more on this DLC. Also didn't include similar one in the trash Division 2
Ubisoft need to stop listening to the marketing "geniuses" they have on payroll. They failed to build on the strengths of Division 1 because they mistakenly thought they needed to justify Division 2 by changing just about everything except the core premise to make it new and refreshing. This is why they intentionally nerfed every strong weapon or skill mechanic that was in Div 1 for Div 2 and why they dumped the fantastic winter atmosphere and survival and added a crap load of unnecessary complexity and filler just because they could. It was change for the sake of change for something "new" instead of improving on the greatness they already had in their hands. Div1 Version 2 would have been superior to the Div 2 Version 1 we got in my opinion.
I am hoping they will take the best of Div 1 and Div 2 and turn that into a solid Div 3 while avoiding any further encroachment of woke DEI into the Division experience.
well said
Best game ever ..
Currently Playing This Game.
30+ Hours in and Loving it.
Gotta play survival with neutal lighting on. Iykyk.
best dlc ever.
"Insanely" and "Underrated"
2 words not used enough by the RUclips generation.
This comment is INSANELY UNDERRATED
Is this mode impossible to play nowadays? Because I keep hearing that but they're still selling it.
You can still play it (both Playstation and PC), but there won't be many other players in whatever instance you are in, so you may have to wait a bit for the game to start. This goes for both PVP and PVE.
I've seen some streamers gather up people, and playing a few rounds every now and then. That can get a bit more like the old times.
how do i get to play this dlc, and the day before one????
Buy the base game plus the DLC (or the Gold edition), do the very first missions until you get to the Base of Operations (post office, if I remember correctly).
When you are there, you should be able to just go down into the basement, where you will find a door (to the right), where you can activate the Survival game mode.
That is, you do NOT need to level up your character, or play through the campaign.
You WILL get some caches from Survival which provide end-game loot, but you won't be able to use it until you've reached level 30 ... (You can sell it, though.)
I think the campaign is pretty good, and I like the storytelling (some clips, but mostly voice messages left on cell phones you find, some drone surveillance photos, and the like), so I think it is worth playing through.
I was also surprised at how many still play the Dark Zone (PVP area), as well as the Underground DLC (randomly generated missions in the subways, which I also like, but your mileage may vary).
I prefer Division 1 over 2, but it isn't being developed any more.
@@tap10lan how do find the underground dlc????
@@josecostamartins2019 Not sure I understand you here - but maybe this is what you are asking for:
If you bought the Gold edition, you already have all the DLC, which means you either have to play through the campaign, and reach level 30, whereupon all the end-game content is unlocked, such as the Survival game mode, which you enter by going down into the large cellar room, where there is a small room off to the right. If you go up to the closed door there, you can start a Survival game.
If you have the base Division 1 game only, you can buy the DLCs separately - in this case Survival - and do the above.
Also, like I wrote above, I think when it comes to Survival, you don't need to have played through the entire campaign, or reached level 30.
However, you need to play through the first parts, i.e. the Brooklyn introduction, and then the first parts of Manhattan, until you reach the large Base of Operations (the post office building), where the campaign starts for real. But instead of going out, and starting to do the missions on Manhattan, etc., you can do like I wrote above, and go down into the basement/cellar.
@@josecostamartins2019 In the same room where you can start the Survival mode, there is a staircase going down. Follow that, and take the elevator. It will take you to the control room for the Underground missions.
Is survival time limited or can you take as long as you want as long as you don't die
as long as u find enough pain killers & medicine in your run, u could live for pretty long
the problem with division 1 was PVE community who wouldnt try out PVP, too scared. game basically revolved around PVE experience.
I've encountered hostile teams before in the dark zone, but I only went a few times, I didn't see the point at the time
