I have watched every single podcast that you guys have shared, and many of them I have listened to more than once! I truly enjoy and learn new insights from everyone of you and I love the variety of guests and personalities! With all that high praise, I want to say that this podcast really touched me profoundly. I loved the powerful consistent testimonies of Christ and His modern-day chosen apostles and prophets! Your united loyalty in your conversation was crystal clear and genuinely carried the spirit straight to my heart! Thank you for sharing the gospel of Christ so beautifully! (And that gratitude goes to everyone who is lending their talents and means to make these podcasts possible!) ❤
I feel obligated to crawl out from under my rock to thank you, and all others who are involved in your podcast, for sharing the light of Christ to all who are looking for Gospel understanding along with the truth and light that comes with that effort. I’ve been a follower for a very long time and have every intention of continuing in that effort because of the pure joy it bright to my soul. Once again, thank you and may OUR God continue to bless you and yours along with your efforts on His behalf. Bro. Jeff Hottman Bradenton Florida.
I adore the podcast each week and have learned so much from Hank and John, as well as their guests. I just wanted to give a shout out to Brother Eaton. I served in the Seattle mission right after it merged with Federal Way and it's clear that even after a couple of years, President Eaton's efforts could be felt. Thank you for keeping Federal Way in tip top shape so future missionaries could easily move in and keep doing the work. 😊
Love this podcast! I have definitely become a “groupie” 😂over the years. I am amazed by your guests and the wealth of knowledge, understanding, and faith each has. And you amaze me as well. You are great hosts who add so much value, too. Love this episode. Rob Eaton is a natural teacher and disciple and so humble. Thanks for all you do!!!
The 2 podcasts for this week have been fantastic!! So much insight & information. I want to print the transcripts & tuck them into my scriptures. Elder Hales has always been one of my favorite Apostles. Partially because he is the 1st Apostle called that I had an instant confirmation of the Spirit and deep love for. I could always feel his love as if he was speaking to me personally & directly. ❤ Thank you once again.
Every week I think "Oh this one is my favorite." I LOVE this podcast and LOVE the discussions with you and your guests. Thanks for John, Hank, their scholar guests and those who've made this podcast happen. You are changing lives with this podcast and I am so grateful.
This was wonderful! We had a missionary return home this week who had such a strong testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and Brother Eaton just radiated the same thing. As always, John and Hank, you deliver. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel like Jesus knew what His apostles would go through because of being His followers after He dies. He must have felt so much worry and love for them and wanting to prepare them as much as possible. The compassion and love He must have felt for them at the last supper.
One thing I think the Savior teaches us (as mentioned in the podcast) as he is preparing for the most difficult series of events that any individual could possibly have to bear, he turned his focus to others. I think that likewise, when we go through our toughest trials, we can turn our focus outward to assist us to overcome all things. Sometimes I think we miss one of the Lord's most important lessons. You guys are awesome. Love the things you all teach us.
I do appreciate your insights on the New Testament. You have explained so much for me and have made it so much fun in the process. I look forward to hearing the next week’s podcast. 😊❤
Was Judas Iscariot a part of the Savior's teaching about the Sacrament, and did the Savior wash his feet? Was Judas there during the intercessory prayer? Or did he leave earlier than any of these things that were taught to the other 11 Apostles?
I loved the part about not asking what God will permit, but asking What He wants us to do

During the Savior’s ministry in 3 Nephi the Savior refers to his Father over 150 times!
