living alone in seoul ep.37 - in this weekly vlog, a friend from toronto visited so I got the chance to do some more touristy things I normally would put off since there is no rush to try it. I went to the dongdaemun plaza for the first time and also ate at gwangjang market! I have been to this street food market once when I visited korea in 2019 but am glad I got to go back. we also got to explore ikseondong and had a delicious fresh grapefruit bingsu in a hanok cafe. another highlight from this episode is taking my first dance class in korea! I have been wanting to take dance classes in korea since before I moved here but I never made the time for it. I am so glad I got to experience a dance class at 1Million dance studios with a friend - I had so much fun! Dance classes sometimes can be nerve-racking so I am happy to have gone with a friend. through this friend's visit, I was able to show her the charms of korea while experiecing new things for myself too ^^
I was able to meet up with Helen one last time during her visit to korea and she took me to visit the new axis-y headquarters in yeouido.
