I'm 75, have been a carpenter all my life, and can build anything I want. It's not a financial success, but I have 8 children and 23 grandkids. I love watching my grandkids grow and see God's loving hand in his creation. I'm always willing to work, but things are slow now. I trust God to supply my needs.
I'm 64 female, and build furniture, from library's, entry ways, beams, kitchen and bathroom counters, ect, what ever the customer wants. I love doing it also. Been busy and pray it stays this way. 🙏
One thing I know is true after 62 years of life. You cannot be happy or find real happiness unless you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and live a Christian life!! No amount of money or material items can fill that empty void we all fill...
Yes very true. And if when you back slide you will feel the tremendous weight on your heart from guilt and his wrath. He will not let you have any peace until you repent and obey his word.
We are all gods if you read the real Bible text from the Samarian stone tablets that are 6000+ years old !! I tend to believe that more than a book that has been perverted by man to fit his narrative.
16yr and 12 yr daughters have been doing range time and drills cuz even they see what’s going 16 year old does some quick smooth mag swaps .. makes a grown man proud
Sweet! My son wants to get back out even though the first time he used my 40 the casing hit him in the head. But he did good, even though he was scared, and kept it down range and watched his muzzle control. But shortly after he has been like "Dad, I need to get back out there." My Daughter is 17 and does real good too.
Before the 14th amendment, and destruction of the original intention of the 2nd amendment, it was required by law that 15 yr old (16 in Virginia) carry and maintain a rifle/musket or they would be in violation and fined.
Conservatives need to stop referring to our country as a democracy, we are not a democracy. We are a constitutional republic there are big important differences. And if we keep thinking of America as a democracy one day it will be and democracies usually lead to tyranny and oppression. Why because in democracy the people elect leaders who then have total control to make laws in a constitutional republic people elect leaders who who then have to abide by a constitution a set of guidelines.
Technically thats correct, however, the 14th amendment made us a Nationalist govt, which is why DC hold all the power and does not answer to the states as it used too.
It really doesn't matter at this point. America was finished off after the 17th and 19th Amendments were passed. Lowering the voting age to 18 didn't help either

You're 58 years old dude. Why do people say such and such years young ?? It doesn't make sense. Do five year olds say "I'm 5 years young"?? You're a grown man. Do you think that changing that one word changes your situation. Mike Tyson is also 58 years "young". The outcome doesn't change depending on that word you know ??
But you took away something very valuable from allowing someone to stand in your way, you won’t let anyone stand in your way again and you’re telling us about it. Win-win👍🏻 ps at 65 years young I hurdle over anybody that stands in my way now after learning the same lesson the hard way. 😂
20 years in the military as a Hull Technician (HT). I picked one of the toughest rates. But I did it. It was not easy, but you never give up. Push every day. When all said and done, I could weld, fabricate sheet metal, carpentry, plumbing, brazing, security, shooting, operating machinery, fire fighting, building, or fixing just about anything that broke or needed made. It takes time. It takes dedication. It takes perseverance. You will not know everything. My value to the team was needed every day. It might not have been the best rate, but I got good and became super valuable to my team.

It makes plant managers just want the problem solved. Solving issues for them makes you valuable at a cheaper price!

I agree. To truly put God first as Jesus Christ says, we must keep Gods commandments. Commandment number 4 is keep the Sabbath day Holy. Almost nobody keeps Gods commandments and it’s a lie to say Jesus Christ did away with them. Keeping the true Sabbath, Saturday, will prove if u truly put God first. Until you’re at least trying to keep all 10 of Gods commandments you’re just lying to yourself. Don’t shoot.
I agree! The Ten Commandments were not abolished. Jesus came to fulfill all scripture for in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Also, he became flesh and dwelt among us.
@ when you keep Gods seventh day Sabbath, you very quickly will learn we are not of this world. I grew up knowing I do not fit in or belong in this world. I used to hate being so different, not being able to play baseball in the big tournament always on Saturdays. Now I celebrate being different. Learning to not comply with Satans government mandates has proven to be a very valuable asset. But I also realize and prepare for the day when non compliance will get me killed. Those days are coming and arguably already here now. God give us the courage we will all need to put God first.
Great reminder!! Nobody is going to give you success. You have to go get it.

You need to stand out in your field. If your company needs people to work overtime, volunteer. Fill a void that your employer needs. If you are a business owner, stand out in your industry. Have a solid moral character. Have loyalty to your employer or employee.
Good morning Jack, Sublime advise. As a woman in technology, I get some not so cool comments. I'm used to it, growing up, most of the time being the only girl in a room full of boys. I've loved technology since I was in the 5th grade and yes, it's still a boys/man's world. Approx 99% of the time, I still find myself to be the only woman in the meeting. I recently traveled to 4 countries and approx 98% of the time, I was the only woman in those meeting rooms. However, like you said, I fine-tuned my craft. Companies/businesses/governments seek my expertise because I relentlessly studied it and I relentlessly keep up with the changes. This channel has not only been inspirational to me in self-defense & survival but also in life advise. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, your heart, your thoughts. May God continuously bless you & your family and my He continuously keep y'all safe.
You are fine. If you were in Saudi Arabia, you would be doing nothing. Be grateful to be in America. Women are bought and sold in other parts of the world. Most never have a chance to even be in technology.
You must be in a very niche field in IT... I have worked in IT for years, and I have seen more and more women in the field, even outnumbering the men specifically in government agencies. Even on my current team, it is kept at an exact 50/50 split because of forced DEI policies, which has actually lead to multiple issues. Not diminishing your personal experiences, but you are absolutely having a different experience than most in this field.
@scottharris2942 That's great to hear more & more girls are getting into science and technology. I used to sponsor Girls Can Code events and hosted 1 event once. Then I started sponsoring Kids Can Code so more boys can get into it. Then my mentor suggested I open a 501c3 and start giving away college tuition. I have two non profits organizations since. One that grants college tuition for kids in technology and one for kids seeking trade such as mechanics, HVAC, etc But I wish more women get into tech. Like today, I was meeting with an enterprise company. There were 11 of us in the room and I was the only woman. I have faith there'll be more that will take interest.
You can be the most valued employee but still get paid the same as everyone else. Employers love knowing you can do the job well and have more responsibilities while not increasing your pay. Been there done that!
In my younger years l was turned onto paintball. I got a team together and we started playing games around my town. We practice almost every evening and on weekends. Then one day we went to play a tournament with some of the best 125 players in the world. We came in 7th place. Within the next few years we were playing all over the United States. Long story short...In 2003 we Won the world championship. If you want something you have to work hard and fight for it....
Started playing as training for a tactical team in my 20’s. One of my teenage sons soon began playing with me. I’m 65 now, my 41 year old son and his 15 year old son are all playing now. Great fun!

I’m reminded of a quote from Jim Rohn….”if you work hard at your job you can make a living. If you work hard on your self (developing skills), you can make a fortune”. Income seldom exceeds personal development.
Your absolutely right jack, I'm a heavy machine operator and I work for one of the big three. These days it's vary hard to find people with a lot of experience because on the one hand we've got people who are getting ready to retire and on the other we've got people who are just getting started and are still in the training phase. I'm lucky to be somewhere in the middle and can run all of the equipment at my facility. My point is that making yourself valuable and the one you're boss goes to is key for survival especially in my industry.
You're speaking truth 💯 Where people struggle is understanding the difference between what an individual THINKS people should value vs what people actually find IS valuable. Figure that out and Be Valuable... You win (by serving others). Great message!!
Ha! This is what I tried to explain to my superiors in the military. I became absolutely great at my job/trade at my current base and they would pick me up and seemingly drop me into a brand new situation where I had to virtually start from zero. I hated the beginning of every tour I did. If I had my druthers I would still be in Japan (That would make 47 years at one duty station!). 😂
In a non union setting, being the jack of all trades and a master of a couple has kept me in a job while others that were only good at one thing had to get laid off. Sometimes it isnt right because those guys had more years of service, but in the endgame of life i have to look out for me
1, Show up to work early, 2, Volunteer to do extra at your job, 3,Always use interpersonal skills. 4, Save money by not eating out every day at junk food restaurants, and 5, Have a hobby you like to do.
I'm about to turn 39 i grew up watching pop's work sun up to sundown. No he never held a normal full-time job unless it was absolutely necessary. He is a jack of anything. He can do anything from build a house sawing his own lumber building a replica 1928-1931 model a coups.sports coups roadster sedans pickups. If there's something he wants to learn he dose it and is extremely fast and very resourceful. We all went separate separately ways in life absolutely 10 years ago kept in contact visited a few time's but we are working together now pop's taught upholstery we work for ourselves and are doing great. We can all do basically any construction build car's from ground up every process. Pop's brings year's of experience and wisdom in everything he knows. My brother is a diesel mechanic for mahindra tractors and can do anything he sets his mind to. Myself I do upholstery now but I have a background in outdoor survival extent knowledge in guns and things that go ka-boom paired with mixed martial arts and contact private security. Couldn't think any 2 people on this planet id trust more then them.
Let me help. A job is only a single job experience. Many different jobs of the same thing. Has many different types of experiences because it is the same job but they do it all differently. To solve a problem. Don't go into a straight line. Go at it a 360 degree angle. Meaning. Instead of handling a problem one way. You handle it endless ways. It takes a hard task and makes it simple. Meaning. Stay at one job for around 2 years. Then. Move to another. Example. Construction. Learn all fields. Why. That leads to a foreman job. An easy way to do. If someone wants you to do their job and it has nothing to do with yours. They are lazy. Do it. Learn it. Adds to your own personal job experience. Example. I did cook in restaurants for 9 years. Because everyone was lazy and didn't want to do their job. I got to learn it all. Meaning. I can open my own restaurant and run it perfectly. Another example. Many hated my work ethics. They would run me off the job because they wanted the foreman or manager job. I didn't. They didn't ask. Yet. I would get a different type of job. Added to my job experience. Now. I can build a whole house by myself with a broken back. I learned tools, etc. To do it. Pay bits. Because your doing others jobs. But. The bounce is. The experience. I was in the Army. 88M. Truck driver. I had 6 different driving licenses. Also. During the PG war. I did an extra. Field sanitation. Water and sewer. Extra job experience. No one wanted to get a truck checked and ready for any amo runs. I took them all. Extra work. I fixed what I could fix myself. The mechanics let me use their tools. More job extra experience. A lazy man will open the doors to fill your plate on extra job experience. You just have to work past the part you are getting ripped off in pay. It pays in the end. It even makes you better at a single job or profession. Way more independent. More valuable.
Hope you don't mind me mentioning another channel but you and S2 underground are my main 2 channels that I have followed without missing a beat through this clown administration. Thanks for all the work you guys do.
Not the first time I have heard of "mastering your craft". I heard this very early in my logistics carrier and took it to heart! Listen, Study, Learn. I have already been offered very high-level jobs. I have turned some down due to not matching with my family plan but being an important "easy to work with" asset to an organization, those offers will stand even if you turn them down for a year or two due to certain family obligations. Becoming the SME 'Subject Matter Expert' of your craft if paramount. As you described, you get some 'privileges' that come along from your supervisors. A little extra freedom compared to your peers. DON'T ABUSE THAT EXTRA LEASH! USE IT TO WORK YOUR CRAFT!
Im self motivated and have my own business. Im 62 and I have always been self motivated. I’ve worked out my whole life. What makes me crazy is my sister that needs a coach to make her work out . Just don’t understand people that don’t take care of the only body you’re going to get. I know that’s kinda off topic but great job Jack you’re exactly right.
I absolutely love this video. Spot on. A few years ago I was really struggling mentally going through a divorce and when I was at my lowest I always had coaching little league with my son. I am a very successful coach and I would always think the only place I have value is there but it kept me going. Having value and being an expert at something gives you the motivation to continue on. Thanks for this video Jack!
I've had that mentality since I was a kid. Whatever it takes has been a requirement for most of the jobs I've had throughout my life including industrial rigging. 2:56
It's not the first time you came through for me Jack. The message came at the right time, thanks my friend. I got this don't worry, catch you on the flip side.
I found if you just show up everyday for work and only call out when actually sick and when you are there you work hard and follow directions and are willing to come in on a weekend if it’s necessary, you will be valuable to the company because they can depend on you, even if your not the best, because no one seems to be reliable anymore. So reliability/dependability is valuable
One thing that is necessary to becoming successful is, one must be willing to take risks! After being frustrated all our lives, my wife and I bet our retirement on a small Dump Truck business. Encouraged by our son who is an excellent welder and has been in the Trucking repair business for many years. Paid cash for 2 used trucks and have never looked back. The last 4 years have been Lean but we've been able to hang on. Now we're navigating the Federal Government in order to go to N. Carolina to assist with the cleanup and it looks like we'll make good money doing it. Conquer your fears and go for it!
Good insights here. This is something I challenge the men in my squad with: “What value do you bring to this group of men?” “How can each of us become a better asset to our team?” And the bottom line is to become more valuable in terms of skills, mindset and attitude.
So true! I am in my 50s and have spent my life taking jobs just to learn skills. I have mastered many of them. Learn as many positions as I can. I also found that you can also learn valuable skills though your off time with hobbies and things like home projects and fixing vehicles. I have never paid someone to fix or build my household. I very rarely pay to have mechanical work done. I have opportunities to even give lectures at historical societies and libraries on many subjects. Many job opportunities because people want to pay me to use my skills for their business. If we ever have a long term SHIF, I have skills to survive and skills to barder with.
100 percent Jack. Look at the Japanese knife/sword Expert Craftsmen! Japanese hold a higher expectation of their workers. We need COMPETITION FOR US TO EXCELL... NOT JUST BARELY GETTING BY OR SUBSTANDARD TO MAKE A QUOTA.😮
I agree with all the stuff said here, especially growing skills. There are 2 parts of being invaluable that people don’t talk about. Know your place. Being the best at the job does not mean you’re the best leader. I’m a fire and forget guy, I’m the background support for the upfront leader. As a follower who has been a leader I know for sure that the following statement is true: Any leader, when faced with the choice of a brave man or an obedient man, he should always choose the obedient man; and obedient man will be brave on command. Leaders don’t need wildcards.
I totally agree and not only what you’re saying also it comes easier to do and the muscle memory doesn’t stress you out as much. But there are some things that cause stresses but the best way to prevent it is by staying on the track of always learning and doing.
This was a great video! I like how you broke down the two points and I like the examples that you gave that reach a broad variety of audiences. I would love to hear your take on a measurable process for becoming a master and therefore adding value and the other measurable aspects of selecting and developing the skill building itself. Topics like how you take a skill and break it down into its component Parts And how you work methodically through the process of learning and adjusting, etc..

My point is that making yourself valuable and the one you're boss goes to is key for survival especially in my industry.
Good Morning from Idaho!🇺🇸🇺🇸
Me too, best place I have found to live
@ love it here too!!
Love when you give life advice. Wish I knew what my craft is tho. I guess my craft is being half-asser of many trades, master of none.
You're speaking truth 💯
Where people struggle is understanding the difference between what an individual THINKS people should value vs what people actually find IS valuable.
Thank you Brother, much love your way. STRONG MIND STRONG HEART 110% ALWAYS
Be valuable - master ur craft - Yep Yep - imho part of being rich is knowing what is valuable - TY for all the golden nuggets🙏🇺🇸💪🇺🇸🙏
🙏🙏
I really enjoy these random videos where you share your thoughts and wisdom on life. Thank you Jack! 😊
In a non union setting, being the jack of all trades and a master of a couple has kept me in a job while others that were only good at one thing had to get laid off. Sometimes it isnt right because those guys had more years of service, but in the endgame of life i have to look out for me
Value is what counts. Not time.
Solid advice brother, hope you & yours are well & God bless 🤙☦
Thanks Jack I really needed this today.
1, Show up to work early, 2, Volunteer to do extra at your job, 3,Always use interpersonal skills. 4, Save money by not eating out every day at junk food restaurants, and 5, Have a hobby you like to do.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very great advice! Learning first aid skills, gardening, preserving, so many things we can do and help each other!
Been painting 35 years since I got out of the army
Hope you don't mind me mentioning another channel but you and S2 underground are my main 2 channels that I have followed without missing a beat through this clown administration. Thanks for all the work you guys do.
Same here ✔️
Tomorrow’s news, today!
Value these kind of messages. Thanks Jack😊
It’s all about Work Ethics & Driving Forward….You have been successful in this area Jack. God Bless Amigo
Thank you for the excellent reminders/mentorship chat!
Any time!
This spoke to me, Jack. One of your most inspirational videos to date.
What you’re saying is the simple truth… and the most important value 👍🇺🇸🍀
Yes, forward.
Thanks! This was very encouraging to me and my business!!!
Live”truth be told”
Amen Jack and well said!!!👍🏼👊🏼💯
Great video-shared with my 22 year old son and he found it very meaningful as I did I
This was right on point
Thanks again for doing what you do!
I would say to be successful is to put God first acknowledge him first and he will direct your path .
Needed to hear this today. In fact, I'm leaving it up to listen to again later.
Thank you Jack!
Thanks Jack! Great advice for everyone!
Thanks Jack. Appreciate the talk.
Great video I’ll be sharing with my son. Thank you
❤Thank you. Always love what you have to say.
Thank you , Jack 😊
Thanks for that advice, Jack. As a 18 year old trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, I needed it.
Fantastic! Happy to help!
Thanks
You hit the nail on the head
Jack helping young men be great men!
Love and thanks from New Mexico Jack. ❤😊
This talk helped me big time today. Thank you ❤
Thank you bro I needed this specially today
Any time
Goodmorning from TEXAS
Well said !!! Proverbs 22 : 29
Do you see a man skilled in his work ? He will stand before kings ; he will not stand before obscure men .
Good morning tribe
Thank you, Jack!!
Thank you Jack.
Love these Brother!
I am valuable when something doesn't work. Jack of all trades Master of non. Country Boy Will Survive.
Great positive message for a Tuesday 💪
I totally agree and not only what you’re saying also it comes easier to do and the muscle memory doesn’t stress you out as much. But there are some things that cause stresses but the best way to prevent it is by staying on the track of always learning and doing.
Thank you for everything you’re doing brother!
Thank you 😊
Fountain Inn South Carolina.
Good advise Jack.
#1 for me is to be intentional. Always focuses and driving towards goals.
Idle minds are ripe for destruction.
I like listening to you I agree with you! I believe not going along with others being your own man being the resistance! ❤️🇺🇸💯
Great message of truths 💪
Thanks Jack.
Thanks Jack
