I like how Shuma Gorath is by far the most powerful entity on the roster canon-wise, followed by Galactus and then Dormamu. It's worth noting though that Shuma Gorath cannot fully enter the mortal plane except under special circumstances, though shards of him can be, which are individually incredibly powerful.

shuma towers over dormammu in terms of power they fought a few times mostly off screen or off panel bec comics you know . once we have seen only the aftermath with dormammu dead and 1 little aspect of shuma just being hurt . in other cases he even fought together with strange and mephisto and well he still didnt do so well and while dormammu is stronger then mephisto its still the devil we are talking about

He'll probably make some sort of important cameo.
Since Dormammu is rumored to be in the Doctor Strange film alongside Chiwetel Eijiofor as Baron Mordo, it would be awesome if one or both of them ended up summoning Shuma-Gorath at the climax. He definitely has to the arm cross and crawl across the floor though.

It's just a matter of finding a way to use them. I think Capcom's tongue-in-cheek ending for Shuma-Gorath actually hit on some real possibilities for some kind of fun character arc. If there's one thing I know about superhero comics it's that powerful beings can be cut off from their power. Shuma not being a god would be fun!

Yes it's really him it's been confined on his Wikipedia page that he's in the new Doctor strange movie The only problem is marvel studios decided not to pursue the rights to use his name so they gave him a made-up name so he's not called shuma-gorath in the movie they named him gargantos
