Also Gihun saw someone playing the ddakji game with the recruiter at the end of season 1, so I believe that they kept the games going for sure.

I just read an article that hints at Season 3 possibly being released in as close as six months from now. The article said that they wouldn't be taking a production break in between seasons. I have a suspicion that it means they're working on Season 4 already and that Season 3 is actually already done. I suspect that they filmed everything already and just broke it up into 2 separate Seasons. This way they can make more money. It's the same thing EA does with The Sims. They release a game they KNOW is unfinished and then sell the bits they left out on purpose - as DLC content - for the same exact FULL price as the base game.
You're right. Seasons 2 and 3 were filmed at the same time. The next season is confirmed to be the last one and is confirmed to be released in 2025. The director has been quoted as saying "summer or fall," but I haven't seen anything more specific than that.
