Hello, Laura and Bez. I’m from Thailand and I‘ve really enjoyed watching your videos. I really appreciate all the efforts you guys put into making them.
Anyway, may I make one small suggestion?
Your lessons are already great. They are very enjoyable. And I think that it would be even better if you use lavalier microphones for sound recordings. Your voice will be fuller, clearer, and less room reverb.

I was introduced to your channel when RUclips had "suggested" one of your accent videos. Since I live in the US, English is my "native" language even though many in the UK would argue that in the US we don't speak English. LOL! I was very interested in your accent and "sayings" videos. I was in the US Air Force and stationed in England and being there got me interested in the many accents and the differences in how the language is spoken in the UK and US. I won't even get into Australia and NZ! That would be a whole series of videos in and of itself! I think your videos are brilliant! If you do another various accent videos please add a Manchester accent. I met a woman when I was in England who was from Manchester. I was smitten with her and her accent. I might have not payed attention to what she was saying but I loved to listen how she said it! Thanks for the great videos, keep up the great work!!!
I originate from Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield (surprise surprise!) and I too have this RP/Standard/Midlands English, and that does include home dialect words like pikelets, bostin, outdoor, cobs, and phrases like “having a cobb on”, etc. I am proud of it! I now live in Southampton (not my choice really as my mum and (step)dad came South and so my sister and I did), but my heart is still “back home”.
You two are great and I love watching your videos. Presumably you still live in the West Midlands in your new home, and I hope you two have settled well.

@@kevinsyiem6021 That’s quite an awful way to talk about women, Kevin. We are not here to be ‘congenial’ just so that we can be ‘bang on’ to suit your needs. And to suggest to my partner that he should be the one to encourage my change in behaviour is also an attitude stuck in the 1940’s.

When I have watched the video that you rapped in the video about the "nice" word, I had said that actually, you are an actress than an English teacher. You are already an actress as well. Do you know, this fact is very obvious and noticeable. Your acting is screaming stunningly.
Hi, I have a strange and stupid question. I have just watched your Past Perfect video. In there you told us that we should use this tense when we are trying to explain a sequence of past events. Why didn't you use Past Perfect in the video explaining the story of how you met?

TEFL: Not to be pronounced "Töffel".
My first language is German, and I picked up English early in childhood. When I hear accents from various places in the UK, my mind tends to pick out the characteristic German vowel sounds-ä, ö, ü.
BTW, "Töffel" is German for "dummy" or "stupid person".
