You could've actually done the Grym fight I'm pretty sure. Bouch did a run where he was heavily encumbered and there he dragged the ore and the mould to the forge without ever picking them up. You can insert them from the ground. Whether that counts as "using" an item though, that's for you to decide. I'd say no, since you were also allowed to detonate the bombs when dragging them to the right place.
Late to the party, but for any later comers who may not know, if you do the iron throne and take down the steel watch after Gortash goes to the Morphic pool, he doesn't get mad. There's basically no cellphone reception at the morphic pool, so none of his Banites can tell him that you're a traitor lol
BTW, if you show the Kith'rak Therezzyn the Artifact, she will open the doorway for you, which would than allow you to do the Lae'zel's Inqusitor plotline. You shouldn't had killed those Githyanki lol.
Nice video, had a lot of fun watching it. I have a few thoughts though. 1. If you take barbarian as a class, you also have increased AC and (I think) bonus to unarmed attacks, but you can open the pod on the nautiloid. Sorcerers and Barbarians get a class specific interaction to open it without the Illithid rune (there might be other classes as well that I don't know of). 2. All the stuff for opening a portal to Raphael's home also lies around in various places at Helsik's room on the top floor. I don't know the exact location, but assuming that you got into the room without using items in the video (how else would you have made it to the House of Hope), you could've also just looked through her stuff. I don't know if this would've saved a significant amount of time though. 3. Your rules seemed a bit arbitrary. On the one hand, you say that you can pick up the Netherstones and the Astral Prism, because the game forces you. On the other hand you go out of your way to not pick up other items that the game will force you to get and claim that it would end your run. However, when you discovered that the game doesn't force you to take Orin's Netherstone when you have a redemtion Durge, you simply chose the route that forced you to pick it up, despite there being a ways to circumvent it. I respect the challenge you gave yourself to not use any items at all, but I think it would've made more sense to either say "I cannot pick up items, I can only get items that the game gives me without me picking them up" opening the challenge to quest rewards, but also making it slightly easier. Or to instead say"I am only allowed to use items that are absolutely necessary for story progression, so basically only the Astral Prism and the three Netherstones" and just ignore the items you were given by the game, such as empty backpacks. Though I do have to say, I enjoy the shenanigans people will go through to prevent certain game mechanics from happening, like you did with avoiding your companions' bagpacks. I just think the ruleset was kinda arbitrary, as you weren't allowed all items that were forced into your inventory but also were allowed Orin's Netherstone, even though there was a way to prevent getting it, but only under the condition that you took a way where the game would force it into your inventory. I hope what I write makes sense 😅 Again, very fun video! Looking forward to seeing more of your content
Oh my, I had so many of the same bugs with the story in Act 3 as you in my first playthrough, only mine were even worse 😭 I couldn't have a coronation, Mizora didn't acknowledge me and duke ravengard was dead. Also, dame Aylin never came back after fighting Lorroakan. The companions also were glitched in the end, Wyll for example thought his dad was alive and Astarion "forgot" that we killed Cazador. I was using mods all the way through and played in the same file for like 10 months, so bugs are totally warranted, but I was SO disappointed with how much of it broke in the end 😭 Great video btw!!
I spent most of this video wondering what was going on with Gale or if Elminster would ever show up. Poor guy just dying of Arcane Hunger all the way to the end of Act 2.
I did that yesterday in my solo run by breaking open the Necromancy of Thay in camp while Alfira was there. Not much help in a "no items" run, but maybe triggering and aggroing the oathbreaker knight could do the same? Also Withers still blamed me for her death, even though Fell didn't think it counted.
Not true about the goblin camp underdark entrance triggering Raphael. You can still use that entrance but you can't go down the stairs or go into a ring shaped area around the Selune statue in the middle of the temple as it will trigger Raphael appearing but you can jump down to the floor on either side and hug the wall to avoid the trigger.
You can avoid getting the deathstalker mantle by having a companion kill Alfira/Quill instead of resting. Scleritas will comment that Durge should have killed the bard, and will not give the mantle.
The fun thing about killing the hag, if you don’t care about the hair, you can use astarion, or any one who can deal more than 6 hp damage during sneak attack, attack auntie ethel from behind, with the non-lethal on; that will knck her instantly unconscious, and return to hag shape. Then, you can slowly stab her to death. She can’t fight you, because she’s unconscious; she’s easily to be knocked down, because in human form, she has only 6 hp. That’s how I killed her during my first play through. Don’t know if this work in tactitian or honor though.
Question, wouldn't warlock be ideal since it recovers everything on short rests and then each companion could take a level In bard giving you 5 short rests for every partial long-rest from the beginning? I'm open to criticism of course
Pretty sure you could have done the inquisitor fight, all you neded to to was not kill the gith in the Kithrak office and interact with the console where you need to put the item into it plays the cutscene where kithrak lets you enter
Fun fact: this is entirely possible without getting the Deathstalkers Mantle. I believe if you attack Alfira after she arrives at camp but use a companion to deal the killing blow to her, Scleritas will be disappointed you didn’t do it yourself and not give you a reward, meaning the Nether Stones are the only absolutely mandatory items. I believe there’s a video of this. (Not trying to undermine you achievement btw just wanna point this out for anyone else planning to try this challenge)

Enjoy, BG3 without moving coming in a few weeks
how? just how wait let me change that why?
They voted on it
Exciting!!!!
We'll be waiting for 4 gnomes/halflings throwing each other in order to move.

Alright, you got a new sub. Keep it up, I’m excited to see your journey as a content creator!
sorry if this video is all over the place

the ending threw me for a loop so i had to check your sub count. it's crazy, you deserve so many more! this is mad impressive.
When Nightsong didn't join you, you could've just given her to Lorroakan and have him as an ally in the final fight. But otherwise wow good job!

Another great one mate :)
This challenge is so nuts!!! Glad to see someone beat it

I think if a companion (not the durge) kills Alfira when she’s in your camp you don’t get the deathstalker mantle-I think that happened to me

Absolutely legendary. How about a run without talking to NPCs unless they start the conversation? 🤐
I don’t think you saw the community tab LOL

I think she teleports away if this happens
@@NotLegendary_YT not if you one shot her. Though last time I tried it was before patch 7, so I don’t know if Larian fixed this
please get a better mic, otherwise awesome video!
Cool
I can’t wait to see “How to beat Baldur’s Gate 3 without a keyboard and mouse on PC” 😂
5:14 it wouldn't be useless, as summoning pact weapons is pretty good ( provided you are allowed to )
That does count as an item
you dont want to show underware but you did more then once XD
Question, wouldn't warlock be ideal since it recovers everything on short rests and then each companion could take a level In bard giving you 5 short rests for every partial long-rest from the beginning? I'm open to criticism of course
you dont get short rests back from partial rests sadly
Hey man. Nice video. I think I missed how you got so many summons without items. Could you give a timestamp that explains that bit please? Thanks
Pretty much all of my characters were druids with summon spells
Pretty sure you could have done the inquisitor fight, all you neded to to was not kill the gith in the Kithrak office and interact with the console where you need to put the item into
it plays the cutscene where kithrak lets you enter
@@Haganase I realized that too late

You still get it next long rest apparently
This UI is killing me 😢
"without any no items" this title doesn't make sense
fixed it
