    RUclips algorithm doing its thing in its sweet damn time, but at least it got me here :D I love old engines and I'm enjoying the rest of the channel too, thanks for posting it all!

    Lots of lovely old machines, I do like the way someone has cut away parts of the stationary engine to show how it works while running. Thank you for posting.

      but how does it keep turning without any olt?

      If you look at the piston, it looks like it has had a bit of oil put on it, because it's not under any load, the friction isn't high & the odd squirt of oil here & there will probably stop it seizing up.

      No it's not, it has been cut away, you don't normally see the piston side going up & down, usually just the piston skirt at the end of the stroke. Google open crank engine & you will see the difference, there is a Briggs & Stratton that someone has converted to open crank.

    we have an engine rally at the curtiss wright museum in hammondsport, ny, also quite a few engines at the festival of steam in canandaigua, ny
