I'll pray for your family. The last couple months in our family have been stressful. My father in law had a mini stroke and a brain bleed at the end of october and my husband was hit by a drunk driver on the december 13. I will say I am thankful they are both still here. Thank you for the motivation.

I want to jump on here and say how proud of you I am. I know it's very emotional moving after someone you love so dearly passes away. My mom passed away last year and I moved a few months after she passed. Now I'm moving again actually I get to move into my house within the next few days as well. It's been stressful with no help and just myself and my 2 kids. So I'm very proud of you! Keep up all the great things you do. Stay strong!

We lost my pat grandma right before Christmas. She was 82, it happened so fast, within 6hrs. I think it was just her day. My mat grandpa isn't doing well either and my other grandparents are already gone. It's heartbreaking when that happens. You comfort your parents while simultaneously realizing how much they've aged & coming to terms again with the fact that they won't be here forever either. My father-in-law ended up hospitalized the same night my grandmother died for 3 days and now can barely walk, he's in a bad way. I can't deal right now. Work & family responsibilities keeping my brain busy is the only thing keeping me strong for everybody. It just makes ya feel very inadequate.

Its hard work, but because you have taken such good care of your current house, you will have a buyer in no time(if you don’t have one already)- i am so excited for you to get in and settles in your new home!! Enjoy it! In a sense, i love to move, cuz its new beginnings, but I’m sad cuz many places I’ve lived(Ive lived in about 20 different places- some moves were only 6-8 months apart) had good memories( and some had bad ones!) make good memories in your new house and you have been a great inspiration to me , to organize and downsize, a little. We are retired, and are entering the stage of life where it sometimes could be a rapid downsize. I hope to live here another 20 years. But one never knows. My condolences on your losses. Your grandparents are together again! Will be praying for comfort and strenght for this time!

I would say , It is a positive that closing date and funeral is on the same date because that is how close you were . Meaning even your closing date is a message that both your grandparents will be with you . Say a prayer for your grandparents before entering your new home . What I have learned and please in no way am I stating that you should rush anything after your loss as we all go through our own paths and know what is right for us . This year I purchased everything new Christmas tree , bulbs , ⭐, skirt, . Because after losing my mother, both in laws we had put decorations of there's . I made a small alter to pray 🙏 and light a candle . I really needed this because I know they are close with me in spirit . Something will always pop up to remind you of them that's there way of saying , " Hello dear" I've noticed that they all come up nearly daily with wonderful memories along with laughter very endearing and heartfelt. It's a process but always keep there memory alive . I had written in a journal to tell my mother my day and my feelings and it helped tremendously until one day I was ok and felt the need to just let go . Every birthday I buy her a cake and celebrate her life .People may think how silly but it's because I'm still alive to celebrate her life I shared with her along with Mother's day. This is just some things that helped me and how I work through it and helps me . Congratulations on your new home God Bless.

My Mom's brother and her only sibling. My Uncle Jimmy passed away October 30 th 2022. I am at my mom's for awhile. She hurt her back and I am helping her with cleaning,cooking , and doing her laundry. And taking care of Sammy. Our family doggie. He is a Lhasa Apsa. So very sweet and loving. So excited for you and your husband and your girls moving into your new house! My sister Jenni and my brother in law Shannon moved into their new house in September. It's beautiful! It’s so surreal that you guys are finally moving out of this house, I only came here back in 2020 and I can say thank you so much for helping and being my motivation whenever I was in a funk or depression hit hard and I procrastinated on cleaning bc I love to clean so when I don’t want too something is up with me so thank you for that, Jamie! I'll pray for your family. The last couple months in our family have been stressful. My father in law had a mini stroke and a brain bleed at the end of october and my husband was hit by a drunk driver on the december 13. I will say I am thankful they are both still here. Thank you for the motivation.
I hope they both have a full recovery soon! May 2023 be a much better, very positive year for you all!

My sweet daddy served in the US Navy, as well, Jamie. We lost him in the summer of 2020, just before I found your channel. I had a strong grief response where I got obsessed with decluttering and cleaning. Your channel was one of the first I started following. I choked up when I watched you find your grandfather’s coins. What a sweet and tender moment for you (thanks for not editing that out ❤)

I want to jump on here and say how proud of you I am. I know it's very emotional moving after someone you love so dearly passes away. My mom passed away last year and I moved a few months after she passed. Now I'm moving again actually I get to move into my house within the next few days as well. It's been stressful with no help and just myself and my 2 kids. So I'm very proud of you! Keep up all the great things you do. Stay strong!

We lost my pat grandma right before Christmas. She was 82, it happened so fast, within 6hrs. I think it was just her day. My mat grandpa isn't doing well either and my other grandparents are already gone. It's heartbreaking when that happens. You comfort your parents while simultaneously realizing how much they've aged & coming to terms again with the fact that they won't be here forever either. My father-in-law ended up hospitalized the same night my grandmother died for 3 days and now can barely walk, he's in a bad way. I can't deal right now. Work & family responsibilities keeping my brain busy is the only thing keeping me strong for everybody. It just makes ya feel very inadequate.

Its hard work, but because you have taken such good care of your current house, you will have a buyer in no time(if you don’t have one already)- i am so excited for you to get in and settles in your new home!! Enjoy it! In a sense, i love to move, cuz its new beginnings, but I’m sad cuz many places I’ve lived(Ive lived in about 20 different places- some moves were only 6-8 months apart) had good memories( and some had bad ones!) make good memories in your new house and you have been a great inspiration to me , to organize and downsize, a little. We are retired, and are entering the stage of life where it sometimes could be a rapid downsize. I hope to live here another 20 years. But one never knows. My condolences on your losses. Your grandparents are together again! Will be praying for comfort and strenght for this time!

Dear Jamie~First off I am so sorry for he loss of your Grandparents. It is wonderful that your girls got to know their great grandparents. That is a rarity~ They are together now and that is what is important for them. I do not envy you with all that packing. I know what you mean about the packing and moving. It is so Bittersweet when leaving your home you have so many memories in but you will always have your memories.. moving into a new home seems like you have more work than moving into an already lived in home....washing out cupboards and a total clean...been there and done that! I would say , It is a positive that closing date and funeral is on the same date because that is how close you were .
Meaning even your closing date is a message that both your grandparents will be with you .
Say a prayer for your grandparents before entering your new home .
What I have learned and please in no way am I stating that you should rush anything after your loss as we all go through our own paths and know what is right for us .
This year I purchased everything new Christmas tree , bulbs , ⭐, skirt, .
Because after losing my mother, both in laws we had put decorations of there's .
I made a small alter to pray 🙏 and light a candle . I really needed this because I know they are close with me in spirit .
Something will always pop up to remind you of them that's there way of saying , " Hello dear"
I've noticed that they all come up nearly daily with wonderful memories along with laughter very endearing and heartfelt.
It's a process but always keep there memory alive .
I had written in a journal to tell my mother my day and my feelings and it helped tremendously until one day I was ok and felt the need to just let go .
Every birthday I buy her a cake and celebrate her life .People may think how silly but it's because I'm still alive to celebrate her life I shared with her along with Mother's day.
This is just some things that helped me and how I work through it and helps me .

My family had a good year until October 2022.
My sister Bonnie passed away October 13 th. She was 55.
My Mom's brother and her only sibling. My Uncle Jimmy passed away October 30 th 2022.
I am at my mom's for awhile. She hurt her back and I am helping her with cleaning,cooking , and doing her laundry. And taking care of Sammy. Our family doggie. He is a Lhasa Apsa. So very sweet and loving.

I'm glad you got to have this last Christmas in the old house. We moved this past February and it was *very* hectic. Moving at any time of the year is a lot of work, but during the holidays, especially with young kids, is even harder. Give yourself some grace, you'll get it all done.
