Ship Tour - Walk around the Promenade Deck

Walk around the outdoor promenade deck (also known as Deck 7) on the Crown Princess cruise ship early in the morning/at dawn. This area is Julie's favourite part of the ship. The walk starts towards the aft of the ship. As the ships sails, you can see Vancouver Island, B.C. to the left (starboard side), and mainland British Columbia, Canada (port side). We don't do a complete lap around the ship because towards the forward, you need to climb some stairs to get to deck 8. Deck 8 was closed, which may happen overnight or when it's overly windy. Since Deck 8 is closed we turn around and walk through the front doors and across to the other side. The promenade is my favorite part of the ship. I especially look for vessels that do not have that deck blocked with lifeboats. This is exactly what I love about a cruise!

Seems like the older ships are the nicest ones. Not a fan of the big mega ships. They keep eating up outdoor space for indoor space

Thank you for this video. We are going on The Crown next weekend for a Hawaii cruise. I really like the ASMR quality of this. The sound of the water is the best part and you managed to capture that without too much wind noise. These views around the promenade deck really give me the 'relaxing on a cruise' vibe. Great Video. I think I might copy this idea for part of my next video.
