EXCELLENT video on an OUTSTANDING gun! Bul Armory continues to put out incredible quality firearms. I'm trying to decide between this, an Echelon, the new M&P Carry Comp Compact, & the Zev OZ9C-X Duty for my next gun.
Only 1 quibble. It's a beavertail on the frame of the gun. The dovetail is what the rear sight is called. 😁
I just recently bought a Shadow Systems MR920P, which is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING flat shooter, & I DEFINITELY think you should check it out next. Got the best price from Battlehawk Armory. During my break-in for it (SS recommends 200 rounds, I went with 300), I ran a combo of Winchester NATO spec & Federal American Eagle 124, & had ZERO malfunctions. I'm somewhere between 800 & 1000 rounds, & it still runs like a Swiss watch.
I'm guessing that the Tomahawk shoots pretty damned flat as well. I've seen them listed for around $600+ on Gun Deals. What holster are you using for your Tomahawk & how do you like the C&H Comp as an EDC optic?

Echelon? Truth? Best duty weapon of the yr. Is it better then the tomahawk? Absolutely buuuut. The stock trigger in this is absolutely phenomenal and over looked.

I'm a multi purpose holster type person. If the holster is for the same light I'm almost certain it will fit other firearms. I do purchase my own clips from Amazon.
The c comp is very similar to the sro. Not rso* another blooper lol but it's more affordable. U sound like ur a regular weapon buyer. Don't we get tired of spending the most on mods? so c&h is def in rotation. I think I have 3. 2 sro, one mailbox. But it's around 360 or so. The quality is lower top tier. The dot stays on zero. The whole 9. It's a worthy purchase. Plus they make very good plates too btw. I appreciate your approach as well. So lmk what you decide to cop. I think the fde Echelon is a must have. Imma get one. I have the blk. But I'll port it.

Personally, I think the Echelon's probably the smoothest shooting uncomped/un-ported gun on the market. The only other gun that's about the same are the standard (uncomped) M&P M2.0 9mm. After owning a PDP Pro, & having dumped a SHITLOAD of money into it to tame that snappy bastard, in addition to so many grip changes & tweaks I've lost count, I'm selling it. But THAT'S a gun that NEEDS a comp or a port job. For the Echelon, & again, this is just me, I don't think it needs either. I think the thing with the Echelon is that, like the Zev OZ9s, the FRAME is steel. The grip module is polymer. But that steel frame just devours the recoil on it (Echelon, I haven't been able to rent/shoot an OZ9).
As for optics, I have to open carry due to having an ostomy, so I prefer enclosed emitter optics like the Holosun EPS. I like the EPSs (& the new Sig Romeo X Enclosed optics, although they're WAY outta my budget) because they're small. I run an EPS full-size with 6 MOA green dot & a Streamlight TLR-1HL on my MR920P. It's an AMAZING setup. Since I work in restaurants & usually leave work late at night, my OWB holster for to & from work is a Dara level 2. I took off the drop offset it came with & just attached the belt slide to it & it works like a champ. My "running errands during the day with the wife" OWB holster is a C&G OWB Covert Tactical. It's an AMAZING holster because it pretty much wraps around your side & is pretty low-pro. You could easily hide it under a jacket or hoodie, & its comfy AF.
I DO plan to start carrying IWB for when we go outta town to states that don't allow for open carry like we have here in TN. We also have Constitutional carry here, but again, for the purposes of going outta town, I'm gonna go ahead & get my CC permit. I'm gonna be selling/trading my PDP Pro for an XMacro Comp Conversion kit for my base model P365, which will be my IWB/outta town gun. Since I bought the PDP Pro (& it turned into a money pit) & the MR920P both this yr, I'm on a limited budget for the XMacro. I'll have a homeless TLR-7X after I get rid of the PDP, so that'll go on the XMacro, & I plan to get a Swampfox Sentinel 2 as a "stop gap" optic for it til I can save up for an EPS Carry. I think the Sentinel 2 is, without a doubt, Swampfox's best & most reliable dot.

It is the compact version tho. I'm like you, I will search the net for the best deals. Things are becoming so expensive so when I see a deal I'll share with u. We gotta look out for one another. I actually retired on ft Campbell. Tennessee is like my second home. I spent most my adulthood there. Mostly Nashville, Clarksville area. I'd trade you my macro if ur interested? For your walter. I prob have less then a thousand rounds through it. No blemishes. I did add some mods. Flared magwell, dot, light. Just lmk. I have a ffl dealer. 😊
I have the same gun in compact with the same ported barrel, great set up! I highly suggest the timney alpha trigger upgrade. Yeah the stock trigger is good, but like many the pins on trigger face keep walking out.
@@chefcg1966 I want the compact one as well. Really? I had a terrible time removing the pins to polish the trigger bar and internals. I will def try the trigger. Thanks a lot for the recommendation
