Hey Rae! Your hair looks great! This is my favorite combo for a week long, beautiful, lasting wash and define style. Could go a few days past 7 if I wanted. Hair comes out perfect everytime, no matter the season. I learned about this one from LaurelsCurls too! Love her, love you, and love this combo!

It is a strong hold, but not as strong as Jello Shot, imo. As long as you apply it to moisturized, wet hair, you should be fine. I think you will feel a cast no matter what, but you won't feel or hear a crunch, if that makes sense. If you don't like any cast, then you may want to steer clear of this one. Hope this helps. I tried the Alikay but it left my hair looking very dusty/dry but I want to revisit it because I think my blow dryer has a lot to do with it. I will try diffusing next time.
Not sure what happened, but the Alikay gel always gives me maximum shine. I've never had my hair look dusty with it, but I don't blow dry, I sit under a hooded dryer. Hopefully next time, you'll get better results. Thanks for watching.
I love this combo on your hair. I prefer products with a "bit a weight" so my wngo is more elongated the first few days. I'm going to have to finally try this gel 😏
