I love Kai's voicelines, he's so over the top, his voice actor did a great job lmao, I can't wait for more of the game to come out so I can hear him panicking in actual trials because it's hilarious
One of the smaller details that few notice is the placement of the seats in the trial phase. Wolfgang is in the seat that the main character from the main games always occupies while Damon is in the shit stirrer seat (Byakyuya, Nagito, Kokichi). So basically your playing the Kokichi role as the main protagonist.
It's on everyone's mind but its worth saying again, especially after this snippet of what Class Trials are going to be like: Presentation for this game is A++. Hands down the best and most promising DR fangame I've seen, and I can hardly wait for more. I wasn't expecting Damon to win me over as the player character, but here we are. In spite of his arrogance being hard on display in part 1, he's better equipped than Wolfgang, the full fledged lawyer, to keep his reasoning and emotions in check. Speaking of Wolfgang, he's being built up to be a great foil to Damon going beyond their Ultimate Talents. Adding to the fact that it's Damon convinced the rest of the class to trust Wolfgang wholly based on his experience and talent sounds like a prelude to disaster in the coming chapter.
So far my favorite characters are Eva, Cass, and Toshiko, imo some of the most robust members of the cast in terms of character. I really love Diana's design. Not too fond of the guys besides Damon, but Jean and Desmond are up there. The only character I really dislike for now is Kai. Beyond his purposely grating persona, I just don't see what his character has to offer and I'm always annoyed when he's front and center. Kai would be a lot more tolerable if he had no face and couldn't talk.
Tsumugi was right, the killing game will never end. But I'm fine with that if they are as good as this prologue. I really like Damon. I like that his mindset is so different compared to Danganronpa's protagonists. Hajime was a bit stand-offish too, but Damon is a proper anti-hero and so it'll be interesting to see how the other characters will interact with him in the future. Eva seems to be the sidekick of this game, but I expect her to betray Damon at some point. Or maybe he'll betray her instead. That'd be interesting. The fact that I can already imagine some exciting possibilities shows how much effort the creators of this game put into the characters. My gut tells me that Diana is sus. And Wolfgang will kill someone, without a doubt.
Cons if Tochiko is somehow the murderer: - She's a murderer, obvi. - She probably gets murked at the end of the game if the final class trial comes back around to finally solving this case. Pros if she's the murderer: - She probably survives to the end of the game. - We're probably going to see a lot of her during the game, if the story really wants us to feel that gut punch at the end.
I get the feeling Wolfgang is going to have his trust betrayed. It would be a huge blow if he was the first victim. Also Ingrid and Jean have big group mom and dad energy and I love it.
I think wolfgang will endure some character development and become more cynical like ishimaru did, but I think he would survive until the latter parts of the game
I really hope this game goes somewhere, even though I don't care about DR anymore. This game has the potential to surpass it and I see promise with this protagonist
but yeah fav characters sofar are Toshiko, Kai and Damon. My only prediction is that Jett and Mark will become buddies and Jett will be chapter 2 vic/killer and cause Mark to have some character growth. Though in saying that this game seems to be trying to flip the danganronpa forumula on its head so who knows.

This game really is something else. The next ~8 years will be hell to wait through for the entire thing to come out. If the idea of fangans does interest you, you should check out Danganronpa Another.
@@ILikeMarioVA-11HALL-A You never know what might happen. I follow a bunch of Abridged series, so I know that when fan projects give deadlines, it's safe to add on a couple extra time to that. They don't have the backing of monetary support, so they can't really hard carry through the thing like you'd usually expect from a normal company if something does end up going wrong somewhere.
