Such fun items. I miss when my now 29 year old was little. We used to do fun projects and I would proudly display them with school art work . I’d fill the cookie jars with candy. Now we would have to padlock candy jars because of my hubby. Candy is a big no no!! I use other things for jar fillers. Very subtle signs of Valentines Day!!But love watching RUclips friends decorate!

Hi Crystal! I can't believe no where near me are many of the items you showed today. I feel like I live on another planet lately. We received very little in way of VD decor at our Hobby Lobby, Bath and Bodyworks or Target. No shipping available to us here either. It's really getting difficult to keep going so far out of my way to find anything. Our Target was supposed to be restyled to become a super Target but the only thing they did was add food. We have less decor than we did before. We don't need another grocery store in this town. We have more than enough of them! Ugh! I love everything you did today, especially the tier tray. I really enjoy decorating for Valentine's Day even though I have no kiddos around anymore. It's a great transition holiday between Christmas and Spring. We get a little taste of Spring with the pink tones and keep a little of the red tones from Christmas.

Such cute decorations. I love those Target houses. I could not resist, so I bought a couple in pink and red as well. Also I love seeing your cute little pup Charlie. My little guy is named Charlie too. He is a Chihuahua- Beagle mix. Dogs are so much fun and add so much to the family. I think it’s great to have kids grow up with a dog.

Everything looks so pretty and I'm sure the kids definitely loved the treats. I'm thinking you might have to replace them before V-day. Lol. I love the little red truck. What is it about red trucks that people love so much? I found a wall picture at Hobby Lobby on clearance that has a country scene with a red truck. So pretty.

@@CrystalTara my kitchen & living room. I have a couple of old chairs, I always change with a blanket of the holiday color. I bought them a long time ago, in 2 separate second hand stores. I finished the wood part of them with a dark color crackle paint, gold under the brown. And as crazy as it sounds I dyed the velvet like fabric with a spray bottle of red rit dye! It worked except for the part it needed rinsed & I had to get them in the shower to rinse. The kids are all grown up & changing there color as seasons change works great the throw blankets drop over them so nicely. I also have alot of red decor, in my kitchen. Because I have the old cream & green appliances, antigue gas stove, antigue hosser cabinet & kinda a pantry cream & green cabinet, so red is a great color accent. But this year in the living room I used pink as an accent color, with a pop of green. It turned out quit nice! And you got me addicted to the tier tray, so that has to be in the decor. We live in a small single wide mobile home, so space is limited for decor, but we are working toward remodeling a single wide home attached to one half of a doublewide for a larger home. We lost our home of 30 years 11 years ago. Economy went bad in our town. And we owned & operated a daycare center, with 55 children enrolled in it, our population was only a little over 400. But when Economy went bad we lost alot of children & husband had a bad dirt bike wreak & couldn't work for over a year. He had lost his job, no insurance & he was the only reason we where surviving the daycare expenses. We tried to sell it with no luck & the bank took our home if 30 years, the daycare center & gave us 45 days to get out. It's still us trying to put are life back togather & we own 10 acres of a 40 year family farm. Putting mobile homes on it was are only option we could afford. Its been way tough, but someone told me once Violet you could live in a cardboard box & make it look so nice, everyone would want a cardboard box. My passion is decorating & always been on a reclaim limited budget. Geeze the daycare was so run down when we bought it. It itself was a major remodle & we sank our heart & soul into it! No regrets on that 7 years of my life & blood sweat & tears. Not a day ever went by that a child or maybe a few children totally made me understand why we where doing it & what a diffence we where making in there life. We ran it like it was there home & it was open from 6 to 6. So they spent more time there than they did at there homes. So why not make it like there second home. It was way cool how I decorated it as well, kitchen cabinets where old. I painted them with oil enamel & the trim around them sponge painted with black, the middle I painted primary stick ppl. On. There was alot of stick ppl. painted trim & swips of primary colors on the walls from a roof & tar brush I use to swipe color on walls, under the chair rail line & the rest just white. It was appropriate & the kids lived it. I also painted the refrigerator while & a big bath sponge from wallmart blotches off black. Kinda resembled sponge wear. The main purpose for all the colorful accents was to kinda disguise the old rough walls & hide the contant hand prints & kid abuse. It worked very well. I love your channel because you decorate using fairly enexpenive items & change out for the seasons. It is my life time obsession!

Target is the worst at packing for shipping. I often get things loose in a box. I am not a chevron fan either. I bought my grandson a Spider-man Valentine's day gift pack from Walmart to send him. I'll ask my daughter to get him some candy. i remember when you first started decorating for V day. You've come a long way.
Love your decor. I incorporated a few Valentines items in my winter decor. My kids are grown & have their own families now so don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day like I did when they were young.
