Great tips, thx
SO important!! Thank you so much for this video.. I also love the look of your studio.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the kind words!
Really helpful to hear about your experience. Thanks for sharing!
So glad it was helpful, thanks for the comment!
Thanks for following up and great info. I am currently still looking into different insurance providers and checking all the fine print. I want to make sure I find the one that fits my needs. Your video is a great help.
Did you find one? All of them are random no names to me and I don't know which one I can trust... There's also no real info on RUclips or in articles. All I can find is ads :-/
I’ll bet the depreciation doesn’t consider that a camera like the Alpha 1 loses ZERO value ie costs the same… and the wear and tear on a camera is negligible.
That's true. It is based on percentages and "industry standards" rather than market value
I’ve recently taken out insurance for all my equipment and they’ve not note of the scheduled equipment, they asked me the value of everything in each category, example camera bodies, lenses, ect., and as long as I don’t claim over that value I’m each category they should replace it
Damn! Very informative. Thanks for this video!
Also, please what's the song you used in the first half of the video? It's very calming
If I have a PPA membership would I still need extra insurance?
Unfortunately I don't know enough about PPA. I would reach out to them and ask
What is the Insurance company you went with?
I use Hill & Usher and the insurance is fulfilled by The Hartford
One of my friends had a Red camera stolen from him by a thief and insurance didn't cover it. My friend never gave up trying to get his camera back and hired a PI. This thief never pawned it and continued to use the stolen camera. The PI tracked him down because he was posing with the camera on INSTAGRAM. The cops nabbed his ass during the middle of a shoot he was on. 🤣🤣🤣
That's crazy!
This is what I'm afraid of. I don't want to pick an insurance company that will screw me over. Which insurance companies are reliable?
