Awesome video Paige! Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. It would be really great if you could do other videos related to some of these steps. The torque tune video was great. I would love to see group tuning video, bareshaft tuning, or torque tuning using sight. Most hunting bows don’t make it possible to move your rest in or out do to the integrated mounting. Thanks
I wish I'd ran across this earlier but you explained your process so well I'd have the confidence to take my set ups to the next level I've just done a yearly after hunt season reset worked through tuning my 3d setup in hunting class but I demand nothing less than 100% accuracy in all my shots .
Well, for whatever reason this video showed up finally. And your information is so valuable to me. I will be doing this on my ASA setup for this coming year. Well explained so even an old dummy like me can do it. Thank you! 👍👍👀
Awsome vidéo !!! Big fan. Can you make a complete video on stabilizers lenght, weight adjustment, adjustment of those stabilizers. Different set up, etc... for all of us that are new to archery like me.
would love to see how you set up your hunting bow and tune using the deadlock. For the deadlock being around for so long there is not a lot of info out there on tuning broadheads with it. When do you stop using dead lock and adjust the rest?
Cool! I have always said that the best shooters can shoot bareshaft at 50-60m, personally I can't go further than 30m, since the shooting technique has a greater influence and not the bow setting. However, I do not use stabilizers in principle and I think that it is impossible to adjust further than 30m without them.
Wouldn’t u wanna nock tune bareshaft before if ur bareshaft tuning with an arrow that isn’t nock tuned would kinda be going back and forth GREAT VID!!! And do u put electric tape on ur bareshaft tune at 60 yards to match fletch weight of ur fletched arrows
So the reason I don’t nock tune with bareshaft is because interestingly enough you can get them all tearing the same with the bareshaft, mark them and fletch accordingly, then it changes once they are fletched! Tim gillingham has a good video on that! So it’s kind of a waste of time because I just need them to all fly/tear the same once they are fletched and ready to go. So then I would have to do it twice. And yes we do electrical tape or sometimes I just fletch it then cut the main part of the vanes off and jus leave the bases on and that will help even out the weight too. Because I’m not actually bare shaft tuning (I’m group tuning just using the bareshaft to see how much each rest movement moves it) it technically doesn’t need to be identical. But it’s obviously easier if it is so I can use it for both tracking rest movements when group tuning or if I decide to actually bareshaft then it works correctly :)
I usually shoot around 10 arrow ends. Sometimes I can shoot two ends and know if something is better, sometimes I will try something longer and shoot 5-10 ends before making another adjustment.

May I ask what is meant by nock-tuning? My guess: shoot a flight of arrows, turn all nocks some degrees and test again. Looking for maximum clearance from fletching to the arrow rest. Is this correct
When nock tuning you are shooting the arrow through paper and turning the arrow to make sure they all tear the same. You are basically spine aligning the arrows, but you do it by just rotating the nock and shooting it through paper and doing that until you can get all your arrows paper tears to match! :) so I’ll shoot it with one vane up, then rotate to the next vane and the next vane and then so that on every arrow until they all have consistent tears! Just makes sure they all come out of the bow the same
No definitely not. When running a broadhead good arrow flight is really important. Group tuning disregards arrow flight and instead focuses on l forgiveness. So for my hunting bow I do everything the same up until the bareshaft or group tune part and instead I broadhead tune until my field tip and broadheads hit together out to my farthest distance I’ll shoot hunting. I need to make a broadhead tuning video… I’m just normally in a time crunch when I’m doing it so I never stop and take the time to video! But I do really need to do that!
All of this is beyond my capabilities, but I still find it interesting.

Now I know what bare shaft tuning is and I hate it, but it’s helpful!
Thanks Paige. Great information😊🏹
Thanks for the videos, because of you I got my bare shaft hitting at 60 yard's.

Great advice as always.
And. I was just busy bare shaft tuning. Thanx👏👏👏👏👏 this is helpful
I just like watching her talk
Great video, alot of good points. Tks

Thanks for sharing this!
Great information as always Paige. Thanks so much! Do you incorporate creep tuning anywhere?
Awesome video

Bare shaft tuning at 60yrds that's amazing would love to see a video
Thanks for your time 😊💕
Good stuff Paige. Thanks! Also good job shooting at Yolo today!
Thank you!! I’m glad the rain let up!!

thank you !
Something to think about if you're a rifle shooter that can help you relate. CALL YOUR SHOT. If you're a rifle shooter, you will understand that
do you put tape on the end of your bare shaft ? or just the shaft ?
Thank you
Is torque tuning recommended for a drop away ?
What distance are you bare shaft tuning?
I alwares bareshaft paper tune . Get that close then group tune
Never did anything above paper tuning. Thank you. I will now try bare shaft and maybe group, just to see how it goes.

How many arrows do you use when you’re group tuning?
I usually shoot around 10 arrow ends. Sometimes I can shoot two ends and know if something is better, sometimes I will try something longer and shoot 5-10 ends before making another adjustment.

Do you have a video showing your bare shaft tuning process?
And your nock tuning process?
Do you do that with your hunting bow too

So you don’t bare shaft tune your hunting bow
Hi!!!
Giraffe killer.
I thought you only threw discs for a living?
🙌🤌
Wouldn't your bareshaft through paper have showed you the same
