- Lepanto tops the Italian Battleship Tech tree line at T8 above Veneto. She is equipped with great armor, and a decent main battery armament of 12 x 381mm guns. more importantly tho, she has 24 x 90mm and 12x 153mm SAP equipped secondaries with great range and a blistering reload, making her one of the most deadly secondary battleships at T8. The exhaust smoke generator assists in getting close to enemies, and help make up for her lack of concealment. Overall Lepanto is a super strong T8 Battleship, and could dethrone Prinz Rupperecht as the strongest Tech tree Battleship at the tier...and if not the strongest, the most fun! For most of my Italian BBs, I run Iachino @ 16/2 Flammable Cannonier, Gyrating Drillbits,Marksmanship, and Smoke on the water with the special perk being Testudo. My inspirations are Paolo di Revel, and Nicolay von Essen. I'll tell you what with Von Essen im penning at angles and piercing like nobody's business with the meager but zippy Italian mains.
She looks really nice, the only Italian bb I have rn is giulio cesare. So I might have to start grind the tt Italian BBs!

I'd take the Ruprecht game in/game out for battle impact but this thing has a higher ceiling when the stars align. I'm still only at 20+ games in her so willing to change my mind but once people figure it out it's an easier ship to counter than the german BC's. So far I've had two 200k plus games, 2 krakens (including a 6 pack) with her, and one 3200 xp game which I think is really a 4k game when you adjust for the secondary xp nerf, but also a lot of 60k games where you're working real hard to find a position to make her effective. When DD's are smart enough to not get caught or when you're up against 5 BB's on your flank who are 15 km away you're totally useless and have to reposition accordingly, totally negating your battle impact.
Aww, man; concealment radius being bigger than gun range, using Brawler really takes a toll, until you get that 10% extra range update. When playing in a division, to help spotting, she is a lot of fun in a 75s smoke, using Fulgosi. You lose around 600 meters SB range but its worth it.GG.

Great vid. Got her a few days ago, now enjoying the grind for the final 3 mods. 16km range with 9.4km secondaries for now.
Is haruna worth 5k dubs just for her dispersion? ( using hipper and fernandez/ atlantico commander) atm.
I keep forgetting about the Atlantico commander! He's likely just as good as Haruna...but I totally spaced on him and didn't test him.
My Lepanto builds secondaries feel very inaccurate still so doesn't feel like her grouping helps a ton

I’ve been running Lepanto with Iachino, Hipper, and Haruna - testudo is amazing for pushes but even with marksmanship and flammable cannonier the main guns’ accuracy leaves much to be desired. Will have to test Di Revel more

Unrelated question: does the EoP perk stack with SAP Rounds? i wondered now ifcertain cruisers like San Diego which use SAP , can take advantage of said legendary perk from the American Capts

Uh ? The concealment Is good on Lepanto, my build reach 12,6 km with concealment mod , 11,8 if you put concealment inspiration
Ship this, ship that, give 100 players same exact Ship and you will get 100 different outcomes, player skill still is the variable that matter most, if ya winning ya good, if ya losing ya suck, no matter the ship

I dont think lepanto will be nerfed because we all know weegee doesnt play their own game and secondaries give jack shit xp, so on paper it wont look like its performing the best
XP wise yeah youre right, but I do believe they look at battle impact (meah) and damage. Damage wise I could see this being one of the best performing tech BBs
