That sounds so good!!! Glad you reviewed it for us. In fact, I had the Dark Side bookmarked. Just waiting for the reviews for the ZX75 (until you did it) Hehe
Thank you for the video. I have the IQUNIX L80 Cosmic Traveller, but it's wireless range is really not that great + bluetooth takes around 15 annoying seconds to reconnect to my laptop, but the build quality is top notch. Overall a great keyboard company. I would really like to see a video of you modifying the keyboard :)
yeah the plastic for sure is up there but the build is solid - and honestly there are enough aluminum boards out there that look and sound the same lol
I've had my eyes on this keyboard for some time, great review. I'm used to a Corsair K70 Rapidfire cherry mx speed switches, and recently the Asus Falchion NX with reds. I want something in between. I have a few questions if you can answer, and would be greatly appreciated! 1)How is the software? Does it let you customize a lot? 2)Do you notice a difference between wired and 2.4GHz input latency? How's the 2.4GHz range? Is it OK with the dongle a few feet away without anything in between the signal? Saw a reddit review saying it has to be very close which almost defeats the purpose. 3)What pin switches can this keyboard take? I'm interested in the TTC ace or their speed silver switches, or swap to something else. 4)I saw some users saying the keyboard doesn't register any keys for a few seconds upon waking up. Is this still present? My Falchion registers the first key that wakes it which is nice. Thank you!
No software yet but it looks like there may be software in the near future, just says “stay tuned” on their site with all the other drivers And the input latency is really good, you def need the 2.4 ghz dongle to game, and I would keep it close for certain with the extender 5 pin hotswap And yes it doesn’t register immediately after it wakes it takes a second but I can say that’s probably best for the battery, it lasts a really long time
Which would you consider the better board, the ZX75, or the upcoming Nuphy Halo75? Also, kb noob question: Does this board come with per-key RGB settings? Just wondering if the leds could be set so that certain keys could be set to display different colors (e.g., WASD, reload, etc.), to make them easily distinguishable in a dark room.
I think the IQUNIX has a better keycap look/profile for comfort as far as gaming and definitely sounds better than the Nuphy boards stock. The Nuphy boards are great tho for less money and similar quality. And yes you can change the RGB settings but not Per Key with software. On their site it appears they may have software come at some point but it isn’t out yet
Be aware - this is Chinese brand who refuse for refund processes. It’s silent and has many types of connections. I absolutely love it for my usage on PC and Mac simultaneously
I just got a logitech g715. I use it for coding and also for gaming, but i cant stop wondering if I made a good choice, I really like the way the ZX75 looks like... any thoughts about comparing those two? thank you!!! Awsome video!
hey im thinking of buying this keyboard, do you think its still holds up rn or there are any other keyboards better than this? also are the stock switches good enough or shoul i upgrade to gatreon or somthing?
mine came in today with the cherry silent switches and i must say im in love with this keyboard. Using it for both my gaming setup aswell as for my work. it's awsome
If you don’t live in a large city you will end up being charged extra for shipping. just a heads up… I had to pay 30 extra even after paying for express shipping
Would you do this or the QK75 for only gaming? I’m not convinced that I need all of the fanciness of the QK75 (and the price tag aaaaaa). Currently use the Streak65 but wanted to go to 75 for MMO’s.
Honestly, I like the fact that this one is wireless and has dope keycaps and good switch options, well under the price of a QK75 all in, it’s less money/work and sounds great
I tell you what, these costar stabs are literally easy to fix. After the fix they are rattle free and will stay that way. You have to make sure that the wire can’t move without friction. I can use double layers of medical tape under the Stabwires. Doesn’t look too good but completely eliminates rattle 👌
Another interesting, informative review. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I'm really intrigued by this board, though I wish it offered shine-through keycaps. Don't dare about unicorn puke. My PC layout is a matched, static color, but I play at night in a darkened room, and I'm not a touch typist, so I need to be able to see the legends. But swapping them out would seem to ruin the beautiful aesthetic iQuinix has going with the ZX75. Any suggestions?
@@TooMuchTech That could work, but I really like the white one! 😄 Also really like the matching stock keycaps. That board is sick! Maybe this is God's way of telling me I need to memorize keyboard layouts, lol.
Plastic build for $215 USD? :/ Kind of a hard sell there. I'd love a reviewer to get into to the long-term use of a IQUNIX though with the rate that IQUNIX and Epomaker(AKKO) releases keyboards I've heard their QC to have been lacking from many consumers in the review sections on Amazon.
Yeah, but you’re spending about 50% more when you include switches and caps + you have to put it together. Not everyone wants to do that I think a lot of people miss the fact that not everyone wants to dump $300 or more on a keyboard😬 (stings my wallet every time I do lol)
Do not buy Iqunix products. They will not honor their warranty and will try to charge ridiculous prices on replacement parts even if they failed under warranty.
Very disappointed. This is the most I have ever paid for a keyboard and I've had it probably one year or 1 1/2 year. Many times when I strike a letter or number, it takes off and duplicates it typing it 20-30 times. So annoying I have to go back and delete all the extras. In addition, some keys have just stopped working so I am ready to trash it. Again, so disappointed.
IQUNIX don't offer ISO layout on anything they make... essentially rendering their keyboards and by proxy this video useless to 95% of the world :( mechanical keebs are already such a niche market why narrow potential customers down to only 1 country :/ cool video though!
@@coyotex850 30 second google search will tell you USA, Turkey & the Netherlands are the only countries that officially use Ansi, some Canadians will use ansi but ISO is still the official layout of the country... and the entire rest of the world uses some variation of ISO.

Costar stabs, yikes... They felt good though, but them combined with the cherry switches i tried, it felt so scratchy and inconsistent.
