This was INCREDIBLY helpful. I was professionally typed as a light spring (my strawberry hair has grayed into pure platinum blonde). But like this beautiful lady, I also look great in cool bright pinks.
This is the closest I’ve come to finding someone with the same coloring as myself. I appreciate this analysis so much…thank you!
I'm someone with similar coloring! This was so helpful. I was typed as a Light Spring. But like this lady, I also look great in bright cool pinks, as well as that shade of purple. This goes against season typing.
I have the same coloring and when in college had the colors done. I totally threw off the colorist. She kept saying, "but there's no yellow in your eyes at all!". I realized she was using a chart and I wasn't on it. She made me feel like a freak. Now that I am much older, I have learned that I am a freak. Two genetic mutations gave me red hair and blue eyes. The rarest combination. Today, I wave that freak flag ;-)
I have brown eyes and blonde hair (0.01% chance)
@@elliettelune9275. I went to school with a girl with very pale blonde hair and rich, dark brown eyes…definitely very rare!
I have the same coloring with more green eyes. But my skin is bright neutral pink. I look GREAT in cool bright colors.
Most beautiful coloring.
I love Your Color Style! I’m a light, light Strawberry too and I love a system that recognizes there are people who don’t always fit the mold. I never thought of that orange as a neutral, but it’s a much better “natural” color for me than what they usually call earth tones, which look so natural on some.
Fantastic
This was so interesting for me as I have nearly the exact same colouring. My hair is a little lighter strawberry blonde. I totally agree with everything you said here. Thanks for explaining it so clearly. It explains why I can wear quite a few colours that are 'cool' like electric blue, which matches my eyes. 👍👍
I’m a more typical Strawberry with green eyes. I’m typed as Light Spring, Bright, Neutral-Warm, but sometimes I feel just neutral, as far as my skin goes. The whole redhead complexion is a bit different from others, in terms of color analysis!
@@sciencenotstigma9534 YOu are the same as me. I look GREAT in cool bright colors.
I learned a long time ago, my best lip colors are cool pinks.
She looks like a cool tone. The warm colors clash with with her hair and skin bad.
I agree, the pink lipstick looked wrong and it threw off everything else. Try again with no makeup. She's beautiful and elegant. If she were draped in a softly draping medium true coral print with ivory in it, it would look stunning. Julianne Moore would be a good example for her to look to. These clips seem to be evolving with the subjects getting more and more colour options finally! But how you can give an accurate analysis with saturated computer colours on a subject with makeup on? I had mine done and at first, you get excited thinking its great, but in practice it's inaccurate.
To me, she looks like David Zyla's Tawny Spring, which would make her light, warm, and clear. She also looks a lot like Shirley MacLaine, and so would look good in the colors Shirley MacLaine wore in the movie, "In Her Shoes."
Totally agreed.
She looks grey in the Cool toned.I think she should try wearing Cool blonde wig.she will probably realize that she can't be cool then 😂
I believe I am warm and deep. I also think I am bright, but I feel more like myself wearing soft colours. Jen, does one's personality play a role in the colour analysis?
does anyone know if that is her natural color of hair?
Probably. A lot of redheads with blue eyes have this combination of warm hair and cool skin/eyes, myself included
Under CMB system she would be a 'clear', warm, and light which is spring - I don't agree with the fuchsia lipstick at all the orange is clearly much better
I agree! The orange and orange-reds are plainly so much more flattering on her, I don't know what the other people are looking at! Seriously, this woman was made for orange and fire red.
I agree!!
The purple lipstick on her hurts my eyes. She is amazing in the red lip. But saying that I have an art degree and can’t figure out my own colours so 🤷♀️
I see her skin and eyes as cool. The cool tops clash with her beautiful hair color. Perhaps if she pulled her hair back, the cooler tops would look better so that her skin and the top would be more harmonious. My hair warms up when exposed to sunshine. When it does, I feel like it clashes with my cool skin tone but I can color it to remove those warm tones or just keep it short.
That beautiful clear eyes, almost as painted. I see a bluish Turquoise like the Adria near Italy (borrowed green with yellow), more than a fresh baby blue or light fresh blue of Winter eyes.
Even so some people think that (strawberry) red hair is a mismatch for every cool season. I must say, I know some summer with a strawberry natural hair, but I know no winter with such a light red which did not have to mean something.
There are more sub seasons than you think.
I am for example a true summer with brown eyes. My cheeks can blush intensely in a kind of hot pink, natural dark ash blond hair with deep van dyke brown eyes (like cool cocoa), I am quite pale with freckles, not easily tanned, I can manage some clearness, but Black makes me pale and let appear my skin flaky and partly light yellow, whereas copper blond hair made me look like I had a reddish skin irritation and was even worse. So warm seasons were out and primarily winter was out too.
I think I'm a soft summer with blonde hair and brown eyes
And yeah I agree with you seasonal color analysis only works for those lucky people that fit into the boss that are given
*boxes
I have bright red hair and blue eyes. I like fall colors on me better than the light spring and summer colors. If I wear real light colors I feel washed out. I also don't wear red, pink, yellow, purple
Same. I feel like dark green and blue look nice on me but I’ve got a lot of bright colors in my copper/red hair. I feel like a tropical bird when I toss in more brightness 😂
I don’t like the cool colours on her at all, personally. Totally clashes with her hair in my opinion
Bright Spring type in the colour book by Mary Spillane. She might look better if she had more depth with her hair colour. With her present colour she would fall in the Light Spring type which has the warmth. A more auburn colour might carry the cooler, bright colours better. They definitely work better with her skin tone.
Cool colors do NOT work better with her skin tone. They make her look drab.
The warm colors make her look very cool and the cool colors make her look alive
She used the wrong hair color. She would look better as a cool blonde
Her eyebrows are the same colour as her hair, red... You can tell from her fair pale skin she's a natural redhead. I doubt very much it's any different from her natural colour before she had any Grey's. Blondes do not have cinnamon coloured eyebrows!
I think the strawberry blonde looks fantastic on her. She looks unique, demure and classy.
@@comment3711. I agree! I’m a natural Strawberry and I would bet money she is, too (or light red, I would call hers).
