My school isn't getting hit hard with the stealing, but more with the bathroom vandalization. The janitors have had to replace the soap dispenser in a bathroom three times in the span of a day. One of the bathrooms was held off-limits because of the damage dealt to it (toilet paper, soap, i think even toilet water? literally everything was on the walls). It's gotten so bad that the principal had to email everyone about it, warning parents and faculty of children like that. To think that people these days will go to these lengths to get another follower...
Remember when challenges were actually fun and entertaining to watch? Yeah that's pretty much history, this challenge has got way outta hand and people are fantasising being a criminal because of it 💀
There’s a mini-trend called angel something where kids replace stuff others stole, (bringing in soap bottle to replace the taken soap dispensers, towel to dry your hands, toilet paper, etc) if that can restore atleast some of your faith in humanity
i work as a custodian for a high school. twice this month, i have had to deal with some kid ripping the cover off the soap dispenser in the boys bathroom, breaking open the soap pack inside and using it to make a mess. the second time happened literally a few days ago. starting yesterday, the bathrooms got shut down for two weeks and now allegedly students can’t go to the bathroom without being escorted there by a staff member. i heard it was because of a tiktok trend and i suppose this is it. social media’s gotten out of hand, man
Your lucky at our school bathroom stall doors have been ripped off, entire soap dispensers have been taken and someone somehow pulled a sink off the wall.
Me too. I didn't realize how lucky I was to leave that school before this started. I feel sorry for my cousins who are still going to school and might have to deal with this in the future
This isn’t just “Oh wow so a few kids did that.” I go to one of the best middle schools in the state (most kids get A-B or A honor rolls, bullying barely ever happens), and it still happened. On at least three occasions. We have to use porta-potties during PE. It is insane. Thank goodness I don’t use TikTok.
80% percent of the bathrooms in my school are closed because of this trend, in some classes I have to walk halfway across the school to just used a bathroom. 💀💀
My school is having a teacher in every bathroom for the entire school day the switch off every hour so it's sort of a rotation. That just sucks like instead of getting an off period to grade things or just chill out, you literally just have to stand in a bathroom for an hour.

Heard there is an offshoot of this trend called 'angelic licks' where kids actually make improvements to their classrooms and bathrooms etc which is pretty cool.
Current situation at my school: Half the boy bathrooms are flooded, all bathrooms have no soap bags or soap dispensers, they are stealing mufflers off buses, they stole a fire alarm and 2 exit signs, stole 2 flat screen TVs, stole a projector, and dragged a tree through the hallway.
So long as these “influencers” are prevalent and getting the clout they crave, more kids with lazy parents will see these and continue the chain of stupidity.
I remember hearing about someone stealing a full size mirror from a bathroom in the middle of the day. And they got away with it. And that was 3 years ago. I think its good they are threatening with criminal charges. When I was in school I would have been out in cuffs before i left the room.
2 years ago at my high school we had a zodiac killer level of a mastermind that spray tagged the school with cryptic messages and various drawings like marijuana leafs and etc. They would call out certain admins and teachers in the tagging and would taunt the admin and local PD for not able to catch them in the act. It went on for weeks the Principal got desperate and placed a bounty on them and promised to give the tipper an Apple Watch but no one knew and those who did didn’t sell them out mostly for the fact they know they weren’t going to get the watch. Groups were formed to solve the messages until they had to graduated but the tagged must’ve been a senior because the next school year the tagging stopped.
I think this situation “going too far” is an understatement. My 5th period got tons of equipment stolen and the bathrooms have been vandalized, there’s people breaking the windows on the school buses, it’s gone WAY MORE than “too far”. Little do these people know that people who are actually trying to get through their young lives and do good rather than try to get popular on TikTok for destroying schools, are having an incredibly difficult time. So these people who are trying to get a couple of veiws on a social media for affecting 1000+ children in a singular school and making it difficult to succeed, just legit stop. Please. It’s horrible what’s going on and the school is having to expel children for just being “suspects” of this. I just want this whole thing to end.
Seems like with every generation the narcissism increases. I've never really understood the whole desire for attention, anyone who's received large or medium amounts of attention know its not all its chalked up to be. Just enjoying a normal and content life feels vastly better.

The September 11 attacks, also commonly referred to as 9/11,[a] were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the militant Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda[3][4][5] against the United States of America on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. On that morning, four commercial airliners traveling from the northeastern United States to California were hijacked mid-flight by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists. The hijackers were organized into three groups of five hijackers and one group of four. Each group had one hijacker who had received flight training and took over control of the aircraft. Their explicit goal was to crash each plane into a prominent American building, causing mass casualties and partial or complete destruction of the targeted buildings. The first plane to hit its target was American Airlines Flight 11. It was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan at 8:46 am. Seventeen minutes later at 9:03 am, the World Trade Center's South Tower was hit by United Airlines Flight 175. Both 110-story towers collapsed within an hour and forty-two minutes, leading to the collapse of the other World Trade Center structures including 7 World Trade Center, and significantly damaging surrounding buildings. A third flight, American Airlines Flight 77, flown from Dulles International Airport, was hijacked over Ohio. At 9:37 am, it crashed into the west side of the Pentagon (the headquarters of the American military) in Arlington County, Virginia, causing a partial collapse of the building's side. The fourth, and final flight, United Airlines Flight 93, was flown in the direction of Washington, D.C. The plane's passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft away from the hijackers and ultimately diverted the flight from its intended target; it crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania at 10:03 am. Investigators determined that Flight 93's target was either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, suspicion quickly fell onto al-Qaeda. The United States under George W. Bush administration formally responded by launching the War on Terror and invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, which had not complied with U.S. demands to expel al-Qaeda from Afghanistan and extradite al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden escaped to the White Mountains where he came under attack by U.S.-led forces, but managed to break out.[6] Although bin Laden initially denied any involvement, in 2004 he formally claimed responsibility for the attacks.[2] Al-Qaeda and bin Laden cited U.S. support of Israel, the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, and sanctions against Iraq as motives. After evading capture for almost a decade, bin Laden was located in a hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan and subsequently killed during Operation Neptune Spear on May 2, 2011. The destruction of the World Trade Center and nearby infrastructure seriously harmed the economy of New York City and created a global economic recession. Many countries strengthened their anti-terrorism legislation and expanded the powers of law enforcement and intelligence agencies to prevent terrorist attacks. The U.S. and Canadian civilian airspaces were closed until September 13, while Wall Street trading was closed until September 17. Many closings, evacuations, and cancellations followed, out of respect or fear of further attacks. Cleanup of the World Trade Center site was completed in May 2002, and the Pentagon was repaired within a year. The construction of the World Trade Center complex's replacement began in November 2006, and the building opened in November 2014.[7][8] The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences, in addition to at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.[9][10] It remains the deadliest terrorist attack in human history and the single deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officers in the history of the United States, with 340[11] and 72 killed,[12][13] respectively. Numerous memorials have been constructed, including the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington County, Virginia, and the Flight 93 National Memorial at the Pennsylvania crash site.

The construction of the World Trade Center complex's replacement began in November 2006, and the building opened in November 2014.[7][8]
The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences, in addition to at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.[9][10] It remains the deadliest terrorist attack in human history and the single deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officers in the history of the United States, with 340[11] and 72 killed,[12][13] respectively. Numerous memorials have been constructed, including the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington County, Virginia, and the Flight 93 National Memorial at the Pennsylvania crash site.
