Thank you and yes we really were lucky to have been there when we were. And thanks to the local gentleman we were the only ones along with him that was allowed on to the platform. He told the film crew we were with him :D It is a day I will always remember. Thank you for watching and commenting :D Teddy
Thank you I am pleased you enjoyed seeing it. It was great to watch them filming the train with the helicopter. I guess now they would be able to use drones instead. It was a real treat to be allowed on to the platform to see the train :D Thanks for watching and commenting :D Teddy
Nice video! 👌 You should put the words ‘original Harry Potter filming’ or similar in your video title. Surely it should have more views. The footage clarity is not too bad considering 2001, nice editing job too! 👍
Thank you , maybe I will try that ! Yes it was captured on large camcorder but I had to video it from the TV screen to share it on this video because I don't have any capture software . Thanks for watching Take care :D Teddy
I knew the fireman of the Hogwarts Express, he was called John Fletcher and he worked on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway but he sadly passed away this year RIP Fletch
Oh bless him RIP Mr Fletcher , thank you for letting me know that info . Take care Teddy PS NYMR is our local heritage railway and we like to watch the Jacobite when we visit Scotland , love to see the K1 up there ; )
Wow this is incredible! I think this is the first time I’ve ever heard Olton hall’s *actual* whistle. The whistle we hear in the films actually belongs to an A4 pacific I believe. I may be wrong though.
I am pleased you enjoyed this , it was a wonderful surprise on the day to witness this. It was also great that we were allowed on to the platform with the local gentleman who said we were with him ; ) The station was closed off with security stopping anyone enter. I am not sure about the whistle in the film but you could well be right I will have to see if I can find it and have a listen. Thank you for watching and commenting : ) Teddy
@@JosueRodriguez-kk6wn Yes in the finished film I believe they used a different whistle but on the filming day it was the engine herself making the noise ; )
Fantastic behind the scenes shots there. Very lucky to have captured them.

This is really incredible footage, lots of skill shown by all of those involved in filming that shot

The real whistle used was from the Britannia.
@@JosueRodriguez-kk6wn Oh! I just looked up directions for sale, and you’re absolutely right. It sounds identical!
