I feel part of the photographer journey is trying LOTS of different gear. I have been on this journey as well, and for me it all crashed to the point where I looked at the very basics and decided what made me the most happy to use, and went with that. Limitations and all... without limitations the artform of photography is lost. Looks like you are well on your photographic adventure at this point, keep making amazing images!
Hey in case you're on the latest firmware and feel like the AF is not as good as it should be, it's an issue with the firmware. Fuji has said that an update should come soon. The update will also include the Reala Ace simulation.
As well as all the points he made, I'd like to add the following. If anything, 2024 is a great time to buy the X-T5. 1. The X-T50 just dropped and unless your main concern is compactness, the X-T5 is the better buy (it has current offer where I live) and only 200 bucks more expensive than the X-T50. 2. After the numerous firmware updates since launch, the X-T5 has benefited from several additional features and improvements
ive been slowly paring down what lenses i carry with my x-t5. lately ive taken to using alot of old olympus om glass alongside fuji and third party pancake lenses. the om 100mm f2.8 in particular is such a cool little lens and i think its going to stick around for a while
I didn't buy a new Fujifilm camera since the X-H1; I'm waiting to see How will X-Pro4 look like 😊
LOL. I sold all my Fuji gear and went Nikon Z6iii and then just picked up a GFX 100s ;)
hi jeremy !! absolutely love the slow pace of the video. feels like a warm hug
I will take that as a HUGE compliment lol. Thank you

Thank you for those kinds words and I can’t agree more. I love the gear and finding what inspires me keeps me going and going.

I am on the latest firmware but wasn’t at first and definitely notice the AF fall off. Hopefully soon
@@jeremygouge I think they said by the end of this month, but my memory tends to be not good. =P

The stacked sensor on the XH2s is a marvel
It’s easily been my favorite Fujifilm camera. Such an upgrade since the xh1

I would love to see work with combo! How can I follow you?
Reason im still using older system is I don't want to spend buying new lenses for 40mp. Maybe I would stick to buying the xs20 instead
I haven’t looked into the xs20 line much if I’m honest.
Yes! and I`l do the same mistake...
Haha. Mistakes are just “happy little trees” according to Bob Ross
My XT5 with the old 16-55 f2.8 is phenomenal for landscapes etc. Just not for fast moving stuff.
@@pvasa20 I’ve never used that lens but wanted to lol
