Welcome back, everybody. As yet another day goes by, the same issues mutate shape and restlessly come back to face us. We hold on, we stand our ground. Then again the night, then again the day. And yet we stand tall. But time does not dishearten, and so another morning we're called to stand with our faces in the wind; Those days when our bodies trembled won't matter, as long as the spirit stood calm. But how much can one man take? Can anyone truly be unfaltering, as a loyal servant of our lives? It will come the time too, when all will be forgotten, but in the unknowable laws that hold our existence together, perhaps, it won't be possible anymore to get rid of that one moment.
Today, I allowed myself to rest. I feel refreshed and ready to take on the work week...but man, I wish I could break the cycle of this job. This isn't what I wanted to do with my life. It's disheartening doing something you're not meant to do every single work day. I get two days off a week but it never feels like enough. What is this all for?
Find your own meaning in the tedium of modern life. Save your money, and do what you want with it when you retire. Or take a different path. Be bold. Take a risk. Live differently. It's all up to you.
