Thank you for this video. I have epilepsy genetically, and have been dealing with it for the past 2 years; realizing how much misinformation there is was astounding
You would assume that ecen a TV show would deal with medical issues the right way as of with the seizures because they know it and I know it's fake but at least do the safty fir seizures the correct way
I had surgery to remove a large lump of the left temporal face, which became excellent for two years and 8 months, the disease returned after that partial epilepsy

I’ve woken up from a seizure unable to talk for hours at least twice. Crying quietly and trying to scream out of absolute fear and desperation but no sound would come.
Generalized Tonic-Clonic seizure are what I have. Almost never any warning. I’ve been this way for 14 years now.
I have had similar experience and it feels like being stuck in sleep paralysis while people around you are trying to make you talk not understanding that you literally CAN'T. It's almost impossible for people that haven't gone through it to understand and truly empathize with you, not understanding the anxiety it can cause daily while people just tell you to "calm down"...
Hi Dr Omar. House was a good show lol. I’ve been having very small events . I’m awake . They last 60 sec or so. I’m sitting and hold my head. Feels like my head is going to blow up. I talk my way through it. These won’t get worse will they ?

I love house😂 the theme is awesome. Also Ativan is awesome! When. I went to see my neuro at the hospital, I legit had a TC right after I got out of the building and was getting into my friend’s truck. 😂 I woke up on a gurney with folks telling me to calm down I had just had a seizure. It lasted for like 8 minutes for some reason and I was just like, can I just have sone Ativan and go home? 😂 nurse was like yup that’s your usual routine 😂. What’s sad is my 7-year-old seems to know more seizure first aid than the writers of the series. They really need to do better researching before these things because that may be someone’s only exposure to seizures. All they are doing is spreading misinformation and dangerous to the ones who might be unfortunate enough to be under their care during a seizure. Sorry, off my soapbox now😂😊
I am on Levetracetam 500mg 3 times per day. With clobazom 5mg at night. My body weight increased recently now my body weight is 86kg. Sometimes I feel convulsions. My medicine need to increase or not?

Salam.....Can I give Tablets of Levitricetam instead of Syrup to 12 yr kid.
There is no difference between tablets and syrup as long as it is the same dose. Please discuss with your neurologist

All my test were normal!
Neurologist diagnose it epilepsy bcz I had 6 seziures since August 2022 till now but I'm still unsure!

I'm getting treatment of epilepsy(Getting 750mg leviteracetum morning & evening) since last 7 months...increasing slowly & gradually after every seziure...but doctor didn't tell me what kind of epilepsy do I have like you're telling in your videos...Is it focal or generalized?
& We also don't know the cause of my seziures or epilepsy?
So on what basis I'm getting this treatment?
P.S: Almost every month I am getting a seizure & than increasing amount of medicine...
I'm just a little concerned about my memory loss or brain damage by this every month seziure 🙇

Hello sir, your videos are very helpful. My sister had one time fits when she was below 1 year of age. After that the fits came only in the month of June 2022, at the age of 26. The seizures as we noticed was: she will walk to a different place from where she is standing or sitting and will think then her eyeball will go up then her neck will go up and neck will turn left then she will rotate her fully body 360 degree and fell down and start jerking hands and legs. We had taken MRI and EEG two three times but doctors told all are normal.She was given eptoin tablet which caused high fever. Discontinued and started levipil and valproate tablet together caused severe rashes on full body. Immediately discontinued valproate and kept only levipil but rashes continued. Due to allergy stop all tablets which led to fits again. Then started locosam 50 mg along with clobosam. She was seizure free for 2 months then again seizure came. Locosam tablet increased 100mg morning and evening. She was seizure free for 5 months and again seizure came. I. E on 3rd march 2023. No doctor we consulted are giving exact solution sir. Whenever she falls she is damaging her body very much by getting fractures. Kindly help what is the correct tablet which can control her seizure. Whether levipil can be started again. Please help sir

@@DrOmarDanoun sir, EEG findings is 2 generalized IED's - left frontally dominant. What does it mean. Please explain. She is taking lacosamide 100mg at morning and lacosamide with clobozam at night
My boyfriend holds me down. Usually my nose twitches, I become stiff as board and my right hand and arm shake and I'll punch myself. And pee my bed. I'd rather he let ,me punch my lights out and put something under my backside to protect my mattress

Thank God he's not stupid enough for that. I think his man genes just have a problem watching ANYONE punch his gf repeatedly in the face. It doesn't hurt me and I honestly don't remember it. Like the whole seizure day and usually the day after. I've seen it on video it looks quite violent. I wouldn't want to make me mad
