Shades of Fingerstyle Blues Factory! These videos have reinvigorated my enthusiasm for your old fingerstyle course. If not just for the motivation factor I'm loving these videos. Thanks David.
I had the Oak Publications and Arhoolie and Yahzoo catalogues in the early 70's, eventually giving it all up, for various reasons. Your tutorials are vital and faithful to that extraordinary period of American music. I have my proverbial Martin D- 28 out of the case and am enjoying The Blues more than I did in my 20's. Great work, great nuance. Thanks so much.
Nice Work. It could help the learner if you show a written visual aid of the notes being played on top of the steady base at each position change. The visual aid would enable the viewer to write it down instead of trying to piece it together.
Jim Wolahan David said in an email he would soon be making this a paid course with more material and tabs. I have most of this “under my fingers” as it were and had thought about writing out my own tab, but when I got the email I decided to be lazy and wait for the paid version.
This series is brilliant. Thank you David.
Brilliant... You have the gift of teaching timing...
"Take a breath".
Thank you so much!
